this is a very clean and affordable motel with free wifi; the location is excellent for visits to Algonquin park. I highly recommend the breakfast - you won't be disappointed! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. One owner is an artist - check out the paintings!

Our room was very small and outdated BUT it was clean ! There is very little privacy, we could hear the guy peeing in the bathroom next to us and it is loud when neighbours open and close their doors etc. The owners were accommodating. We loved having a camp fire in the back area and we especially enjoyed the...

Stayed for one night because we were in a pinch. First time I stayed there was in 1977 when we moved there. Stayed for two weeks until we got our building. Now we are selling and had to stay to check on it. Could use some insulation between walls but clean and friendly owners.

Pet friendly, even more than I expected. We stayed in the cabin and the dogs were allowed off-leash to play in the yard of the cabin. Having a young pup it was a special treat to finally be able to play off-leash on our vacation. This is a quaint, super cute, spacious cabin. It has a kitchen/kitchenette, and a grill...

This is a small motel with very small, but clean, rooms that had very little lighting in them. It was quite adequate for an overnight stay and is near places to eat as well as being convenient to the Park. Breakfast (not included) was reasonable in price.

Outdated rooms and small but very clean. Not much around to visit but great stop through location to spend the night. Located right off main highway. Has a beach nearby for kids and a great restaurant next door.

Stayed here July1st, 2016. Great location qto explore the park from. The motel is also right beside the Mad Musher restaurant, and close to gas and other amenities in town. The best part is that co-located to the motel is their own breakfast restaurant serving up hearty traditional bacon and eggs and other favourites from 8-10 am. Simple, affordable, friendly,...

Whenever we go to Algonquin Park we stay here. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners are wonderful and its nice to stay in a place with an art gallery attached. They serve a great breakfast and they know the park and surrounding are very well.

Clean, good rooms and a good breakfast. Maybe in need of a little refurbishment but for a group of birdwatchers wanting to access Algonquin Park early in the morning this is an ideal place to spend a couple of nights. Friendly owners and convenient. Very good value for money.
