If you like animal, Alpaca Farm Stay will not let you down. The host will lead you to visit his alpaca farm and let you feed the baby alpaca. Besides, you can hold the baby alpaca to take picture. It is full of fun and happiness. The two-bed room apartment is big enough and fully equipped for a family of...

This was the first stop of our 10 day NZ trip. We drove to the farm directly from CHC airport and was warmly welcomed by the staff member. Our room price included a farm tour and they were flexible when to have it as we wanted to go out for lunch first. During the farm tour we got to feed...

We chose to stay here on the last night of our two week tour of the South Island because of the favorable reviews. We were a group of seven including toddlers and seniors. Because this was the last place we stayed, we were able to compare against our previous accommodations (mostly farm stays) and I feel sorry to say Silverstream...

Kit and Sheryl were lovely hosts passionate about their work and alpacas. Our stay in the cottage was pleasant and warm with a sumptuous breakfast provided in the morning. The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the alpacas! They are highly inquisitive animals so they didn't run from us although they mostly just sauntered gracefully away. Sheryl let us...

The farm was just a 30 min drive from Christchurch city center and there's also a grocery store and McDonald's less than 10 min drive away so it was really convenient. The unit was amazing! Absolutely clean, warm despite the freezing weather in winter, spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped. The alpacas were really lovely as well! Our...

The unit was clean and comfortable and had views over the fields where the alpacas graze. The tour of the farm included an interesting talk about the alpacas and we were able to stroke a bay. The bed was comfortable and the hosts were happy to advise on what to visit and where to eat. The breakfasts were fine but...

My family spent 2 weeks in NZ south island and we stayed in Silverstream Alpaca Farmstay before returning back to HK. We tried hang-guidling in Queenstown, visiting Milford Sounds and took a glacier helicopter tour in West Coast and the Alpine train from West Coast to East Coast. This is now more than a month from our NZ trip, but...

Kit and Sheryl and their family were thoughtful hosts. We loved the neat, clean and warm rooms and the kitchen and restrooms. We had the chance to see the stars and even shooting stars at our last night stay.It was cold for us. They lit the outdoor fireplace and gave us blankets. The barbecue dinng experience was nice. Strolling in...

This was the #1 highlight of a wonderful 2 week honeymoon driving through New Zealand from top to bottom. Kit and Sheryl are great hosts, warm, and open. The farm is peaceful & beautiful, alpacas are gorgeous, accommodations are lovely. Honestly our only regret was that we had only one night here...wish we had a week! Thanks Kit and Sheryl,...

After travelling for 48hrs it was wonderful to stay in this most relaxing B&B. Although classed as a B&B you are actually in your own unit, where breakfast is provided everyday. Lovely fresh eggs! Kit and Sheryl are the perfect hosts. We enjoyed the beauty and peace of their farm and fun of watching the alpacas and were invited to...
