I would admit that my initial reaction upon arriving was I wish I just booked a hotel room because I found the room a bit small. We barely had space for our big luggage. However that is just a very minor thing. The service from...More

We enjoyed great interaction with other guests in the common kitchen area and spacious hall. We dislike the double bed mattress which was too soft to sleep on or even to sit on it. It made our sleep very uncomfortable. Time to change the mattress....More

Hello, thank you for your review. I am sorry that you found the mattress too soft. Also I apologize that you found the staff member unfriendly. She did not intend to be rude. She told me she was concerned that you were blocking the entrance...More

I really enjoyed my stay and wished I'd booked longer. Loved the kitchen layout and everything was there to cook a gourmet meal and I did (well Burgers and salad lol) but it was good that it had everything you could want to use in...More

We stayed in the King room with kitchenette which was $ 240 so quite pricey. Cheaper rooms and bunk facilities available. Our room had a small kitchenette but upstairs was a huge shared kitchen with all facilities so take in your own supplies and cook....More

Thank you for your review. Yes, we have many different room types to hopefully suit most travellers. I must point out that we do not have restaurants on site. We have a shared kitchen that guests can cook in. There are 4 restaurants in the...More

I don't remember a supermarket. I do know that the Lodge itself sold a few basic supplies at its reception desk. There are several good places to eat that aren't too costly.
