Stayed 10 nights end of Jan / start of Feb 2020. We had living area with a sofa that could be used as a bed, bedroom with 2 single beds, shower. Kettle in room. When we arrived there were 2 bottles of water, coffee sachets, milk sachets and tea bags. They were not replaced during the stay.
TV in living area but you have to pay if you want BBC1, ITV, channel 4, Pick TV and all the Spanish and German channels. TV costs 4.5 euro for one day, 37 euro for 14 days. You can choose whatever number of days you want. Sometimes there would be a loss of signal.
Food was okay for taste but it was never very hot. Buffet service. Plates were always quickily cleared away and staff worked hard. Most plates are chipped. Several times I had to wait for clean plates to be brought through from kitchen, same with cups at breakfast. Omelettes were good, freshly cooked when you want them for breakfast.
No hairdryer in room but one can be hired from reception.
Lots of signs saying that sunbeds cannot be reserved. Lots of German speaking guests when I was there. Staff did not do anything about my complaint regarding guests putting towels on sunbeds early in the morning and not returning until later in the day.
Self-service coffee machine at pool kept failing.
Room not completely clean on arrival and I don't think it was cleaned at all during the 10 days apart from the floor being mopped. Cleaners appparently should be in 4 days per week but you don't know which days so don't know when to expect clean towels.

I could not fault this hotel for its staff, they are the most sociable and funny people that i have had the pleasure of meeting. Always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. The hotel itself, fantasticly close to the airport, reception and bar/dining area look very nice and reasonably modern but the rooms themselves could really do with being brought up to date, very tired looking indeed. I would not recommend this hotel to people with families or people who are younger then 50/60 to be honest. Its very much an older persons hotel, they do not seem to like people enjoying themselves or even joining in with the entertainment team, they seem to just want to sit quietly and read their newspaper. This was quite disappointing because if it had not been for the many complaints and being told to be quiet all the time, it would have been a fantastic holiday.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel, we stayed here about the same time last year, and was told when we left that time that they would be improving on the food on the restaurant as this was the biggest complaint with guests.
So we stayed here again as we enjoyed the hotel last year, unfortunately it will be the last time as well, the food quality and sometimes weird menu is worse than last year, sometimes foods like chilli not tasting of anything, breakfast being the best meal of the day. We ate out on a few occasions even though we were booked in on all inclusive.
The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the hotel don't have mattress toppers.
The pool area is still kept tidy and getting a sunbed wasn't a problem due to the time of year.
We didn't spend any time in the hotel during the evening's as there is no real atmosphere or entertainment, so visited pieros bar/ restaurant every night, which I highly recommend.
The hotel is well situated a few minutes walk from bars /restaurants / shops and the beach.
Caleta Dr fuste is a really nice town and we have stayed in the area several times and will return many more times but not to this hotel unless they make big changes.

This was my 6th time at this hotel. When I stayed in November I noticed some changes but the food wasn't the best. This time the food was awful. We arrived at 11.15 on the Saturday
and was given our room straight away. We went in for lunch to find my
husband ladeling mashed potato into a glass saying it was a smoothie. Out of 7 nights we ate out 5 evenings and 3 lunches. The toaster at breakfast has definitely seen better days as it doesn't toast. On Wednesday friends
in the room behind us were going home. They moved their bags into the lobby and when returning to the room
found the bathroom being ripped out. They hadn't even checked out at this point. The noise coming through the walls was awful. My husband was ill in bed and managed to sleep with earplugs. I understand renovations need to be done but the hotel was not full so why give us the room next door. Work stopped mid afternoon otherwise I may have complained at that point. Thursday work carried on until about 3pm but restarted at 5 and after an hour I went to reception asking how long they would be working as the noise was really bad. They contacted the man working and he said he was finished for the day. The receptionist said if there was any more noise we could change rooms however with 2 nights left it was a hastle to move. Friday work started again and finished again at 3 to restart again at 5.30. At 6.30 I went to reception as by now I had lost my sence of humour. The lady on reception said they had only been working 1 minute which was untrue. She said they were doing the work now as people were leaving their rooms to go and get food. We go back to the room about 5.30 each day to get ready for the evening so was the worst time to be working. If only you could attach videos just to show the noise we had to put up with. This will be our last visit to the hotel which is a real shame as we have made lots of friends there but saying that they won't be going again either.Sara from annimation kept everyone happy and Freddie was his usual cheery self but

Dear lillian b, Our guests' comments provide us with an opportunity to see our hotel through their eyes giving us insight into any service that may have room for improvement to enhance our future guests' stay among us, therefore we are grateful for the time you spent to share a review of your personal experience in the hotel. We sincerely regret reading that your husand was taken ill during your stay and lament not being informed immediately as we would have been able to assist you and call a doctor for a checkup. We also regret that our buffet couldn´t meet your expectations, mainly because the quality and the diversity of our culinary offer counts to our strengths. We take your comments regarding our cuisine very seriously, because we wish that our gastronomy remains a very special treat for our guests. As for the incident with his friends, it was a misunderstanding and we apologized to them in the instant. We do our best because our clients feel good during their vacations with us. We regret that this was not your case. As for "the works", it was an emergency that we had to solve, we regret that the noise of 2 days has affected your holidays with us so much. We sincerely lament reading that your stay was not as pleasant as it should have been and we would be very pleased to welcome you again in the future ensuring you in advance of our utmost commitment to make your next holiday experience an unforgettable one for all the right reasons. Best regards, Tania- Assistant General Manager.

I went to stay for week in december to relax after a few stressful months at my new job. I also brought my mother with me for the trip who had stayed at the hotel before two years ago.

The hotel is located near the centre of Caleta de Fuste with only a few hundred metres to go to the main shopping shopping centre called "El Castillo". From there it's only a few more metres to reach the beach.

The staff was very always welcoming and helpful. When we needed some help we could always ask our tour guide Sidney for advice on activities and local customs. He not only spoke English but also German which is our native language.

The food was great and offered a lot of diversity with a different theme each dinner like Mexican, Chinese and local food from the Canary Islands.

Our room was nice and clean. It was at the far end of the hotel complex so it was really quiet which we liked. The furniture had a few minor blemishes but nothing major.

Overall it's been a great stay for us.

We have been coming here for several times over the last 12 years, but this is definitely the last time, unfortunately we have booked for the month of January, which is an ideal time to avoid the dodgy weather at home, and avoid holiday children. Wow has this place gone down hill, 1, as with most resorts you have to pay for t.v. unfortunately it's rubbish, screen keeps freezing, speech out of synchronization not one channel but all British channels, the foreign one, no problem. 2, food, it's rubbish repetitive, and lacks choice, always fish, mussels or pasta.3, just had a power cut, unavoidable, so sitting in recreational area, reading when suddenly I can only describe as a swarm of German tourists start gathering around, and a very rude chap in a white shirt and tie, who I believe to be a tour agent starts moving all the chairs around, and eventually indicating for us to get up, and then the swarm took over and basically forced us out of the area.rude is not a strong enough description. Four of us were surrounded and then the ignorant xxxxxxx pushed passed us and took our seats, no explanation, no apologies. 3, don't come here if you like a dip in the pool, it's freezing, never heated even though they have solar panels. Stupid. The pool bar is supposed to be open till 6pm, you will find at 5pm they start putting the boards up in the windows making you very unwelcome. 4, the t.v. area is taken over by German tourists everything and not a seat free for children /teenagers, entertainment, rubbish, poor young girl just started and thrown in at the deep end. No instruction or help with equipment, and no experience with entertaining the public.

This hotel is very basic, I have just returned after a 7 day trip with my husband, We booked all inclusive with a pool side room. The room was not pool side it was round the corner. Our room terrace got the sun for a few hours in the morning but was very open and no privacy at all. Hotel staff said there is 2 sides to resort pool side and garden side so doesn't mean you will be beside the pool. The pool was cold and sunbeds were taken early by the usual towel crew!! Not enough sunbeds at all. The room was extremely basic and grubby, There is no attention to detail with cleaning, Toiletries provided means a pump dispenser on the wall which was empty!
The bar is very small and only 1 open at poolside so if the weather isn't good there is nowhere to go. Snacks are limp, soggy sandwiches and croissants that sit on the bar all day long or hotdogs. Ice creams are available but not included so a No for anyone with children. Drinks are included but local brands are a waste of time. I am not a drinker usually and 1 vodka would make me tipsy so after 5 i was still sober was a shock!!! Then they ran out of vodka!! Branded drinks are very expensive,
The buffet restaurant is small with very little option. Food was repetitive and mostly cold even when it was supposed to be hot. Food was either undercooked or soggy. Options for children are practically nil so expect to be restricted if you have kids.
Entertainment is 1 man doing everything. He was friendly and lively but everything is adult orientated. it was again repetitive and more like going to your local pub than holiday entertainment.
the best part was when the walkways were painted mid afternoon and i do mean the paths. Stranded on our terrace was a surprise but must say it dried fairly fast.
I know it isn't a 5 star hotel but very disappointing. They need to make more of an effort. Will definitely not return to this hotel in the future,

We loved this place. Met up with good friends again this year but we were all so disappointed with how things have changed.

Seems like new management is on place and strangely all the Brits were getting phone calls, approached when leaving the dining room or when wandering around and were being asked our opinion on various topics ie. Food, rooms, bars, pool etc.

Lots of us complained about the food, not much choice at the evening meal and nothing for vegetarians apart from chips and salad. One evening there was fish soup, fish paella and fish in sauce plus some dry chicken drumsticks. There were chips every flipping evening and very often at lunchtime too. Absolutely no imagination. On the plus side, there was a good supply of veg and fruit.

The pool was just too cold to swim in and the rooms are so dated and tired it just leaves you wanting.

This was our 5th visit and I am sad to say that we won't be returning unless we hear that vast improvements have been made.

Visited with my husband for a week in March our first visit to the island too. Hotel exceded our expectations. Room was basic but had everything we needed and who stays in their room on holiday it's just a base to sleep and shower the pool and surrounding areas are very clean and plenty of choice at the bar including cava wine which was a nice surprise.
Food was better than I was expecting definitely no complaints there. And whilst I was there it was my birthday and the hotel chef arranged a cake on behalf of my husband that was delivered to our room with candles included a very nice touch.
Hotel is situated in close proximity to plenty of bars shops and the beach.
Our only fault with hotel was we arrived at 12.30pm but obviously couldn't check in until 2pm but every other all inclusive hotel I have been too if u can't check into your room you are able to get your all inclusive band but we couldn't here and had to sit by pool and pay for drinks which I don't mind but 3.30 euros for a small beaker of beer is a bit of a rip off!
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay that much we are returning in 5 weeks cant wait thank you smy Tahona 😊

We are staying here at the moment (January 2020) and booked the Tahona as we have been to its soster hotel Caleta Garden in the past and were led to believe this was better quality.

The hotel rooms are ok but very sparse, there are not many facilities in them. We had an apartment which had a lot of spare room. Empty walls and basic furniture, it felt quite souless. Having said that we were not here to stay in our room all holiday so we can deal with that.

The pool area is decent, lots of space and great for sunbathing. The pool bar is handy for drinks and snacks. The main bar inside is small and gets crowded easily. The evening entertainment is held in there and is nothing worth mentioning. Bingo, quiz, karaoke.

The restaurant is quite spacious and light, however the food really lets the whole hotel down. It is presented ok except the hot food sits there for a long time and goes cold. It os all incredibly boring and repetitve as well. Most of the dishes have no taste either. We are really not fussy eaters and do not expect Michelin star standard (this is a cheap place to stay after all) but the restaurant really is disappointing. No wonder when we spoke to staff the said they get a lot of complaints and asked us to pass on our thouts in the hope things would change.

Overall it os an ok place to stay as a base but it really isn't better than Caleta Garden.
