Very good hotel and friendly, helpful staff. They have great knowledge of the island and have bus timetables, maps etc. The bathroom could be improved as everything was literally hanging off the wall and the door wouldn’t shut properly (we had a maisonette, number 15). The bath was quite narrow to stand in for a shower. The room maids got a bit slack towards the end of the week (they are closing in a week so possibly very tired) as twice we had to ask for towels which weren’t left and toilet roll. Rooms are very clean and air conditioning works well. The breakfast choice is brilliant but isn’t restocked very quickly. Everything from fruit, to bread, to fry up, yoghurts, hot and cold drinks, everything you need really. Pool area is immaculate and a really nice area. The hotel have their own beach beds on the beach which are free to use - beware that around 3-4m into the sea, the bed drops away very sharply. You need water shoes for the beach. Beach is 2-3m away from the edge of the pool. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Just back from an amazing holiday at this hotel. Firstly, the position of this hotel is incredible - right on the front with a view over the pool to the beach where there are free sunbeds. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard. The maintenance and cleaning of this hotel is first rate with helpful friendly staff. Air con was free. Breakfast was set in a lovely environment - either outside or in - with a huge choice. People who say it's basic - what do you usually eat for breakfast? Every taste is covered. Pool and bar area is perfect. Cannot fault this hotel at all and definitely plan to return

Visited here just for food, during our stay in Kamari. Had a gorgeous dinner sat by the pool, one of us has the Greek salad with pita bread on the side & another had the Pork Souvlaki. Both lovely!! We also tried a few flavours of the Daiquiri (normal not ice / slushy) and they were VERY nice (Mango, Strawberry, Peach) would definitely recommend coming here for food if you’re in the area! We also had an excellent server, he was very attentive, friendly and had a nice chat with us in between bringing food and drinks. Probably our most favoured restaurant from our whole week stay.

Lovely hotel, great location on the promenade - original since 1972! Clean rooms are basic but functional, with a mini fridge. Very friendly, attentive staff. Food and drinks reasonable prices in line with everywhere else (great variety at buffet breakfast, which was included in the stay). Superb pool plus loungers on the beach, too. We booked with Tui and would highly recommend it. 18 min walk from the open air cinema. Trips booked through Tui - coach pick up and drop off 2 min walk away next to the fabulous Cretan Bakery.

Enjoyed a week in this hotel. Facilities in public areas all good.Reception Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned to a good standard. Pool was very big with plenty of sunbeds around it. Only went to the hotel beach twice but comfortable sunbeds there too. We took beach shoes with us as suggested in other posts. The beach is very pebbly so these are useful. The local buses were excellent, most routes were 1.60 €pp. We found a timetable online which was fairly accurate. Recommend using the buses rather than doing organised Tours. Slightly disappointing breakfast, all a bit hectic and tables took a long time to be cleared. Also, our bathroom was small, specifically the shower. Other than this we enjoyed our stay at this well located hotel.

The location of this hotel is absolutely second to none. It sits close to the end of the long, pedestrianised, promenade strip of Kamari’s numerous bars & shops alongside the beach & literally a few strides from the beautiful beach & the hotel’s plentiful, free cushioned sun beds & straw parasols. The beach area for the hotel is supervised by hotel staff & drinks can be ordered from sun beds & belongings feel very safe & secure. Beach, sea bed is stony - beach/swim shoes are a must. The hotel’s swimming pool is large, clean & inviting with a lifeguard on duty & lights up breathtakingly beautifully at night ! Pool bar area is lovely with attentive staff & lovely cocktails/ smoothies etc . A nice pool/games room is right next to the swimming pool for a quick game . The pool area is very relaxing but could do with a few more sun beds for a large hotel, as people hog them. Sunbed policy of leaving the beds for more than 30 minutes, then losing them, is not enforced at all. The bedroom for myself & 2 teenage boys was very clean, well proportioned & v comfy beds with plenty of storage space, however, the shower was really exceptionally tiny & narrow & I’m a woman ofaverage size/ height. Older son had to shower by the pool as couldn’t move in it . Great ground floor location though & large patio area , with courtyard view, right near the pool & restaurant. Wifi intermittent. Stayed B&B - the choice / standard of breakfast is average but had to prompt for replenishments of small spoons, tea bags, sugar, bowls etc each day . Young lads waiting on are chatting away instead of being on the ball - doesn’t seem to be a restaurant manager . Uniforms of waiting on staff are pale blue shirts, which unfortunately show wet sweat stains - unable to be helped of course, but a more apt colour to camouflage would be a better choice in a restaurant setting . Chairs are metal so scrape constantly on the tiles which grates after a while . Instead of aircon in the restaurant, large wall mounted fans are blowing on high, which send peoples long hair flying in all directions which is off putting with food about. Kamari is cosmopolitan, large and lively. A must is a visit to stunning Oia - 40 euros each way in a taxi (around 2 hours by 2 buses receptionist told us). Overall, some issues not withstanding, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Hotel Kamari Beach when staying in beautiful Santorini.

The Kamari Beach hotel is excellent. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Serviced every day with clean towels provided. All staff are very helpful and friendly. Entire hotel and beach area is fastidiously cleaned each day. No additional charges for pool table, gym room, security boxes. Great selection at breakfast and continually replenished. It deserves more than it's 3 star rating and that is the hotels choice for their marketing strategy.

Great, spotlessly clean hotel, large comfortable rooms with excellent air conditioning. Food is very good and so s the pool side bar. Hotel as sun loungers round the pool and on the beach which is 15 metres away. Great location. My only concern with Santorini is the tiny airport struggles to cope with the large amount of tourists
