Spent a week here in early September with my partner. Hotel very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. We were on half board and despite the difficult circumstances due to COVID, we were fed well. Breakfast was particularly good. Just wish that smoking would be banned where people eat. Lovely pool with the beach just a 30 second walk away with free sun beds. One downside, which may have been a one off, was the bar next door had a very noisy party one night that went on until 4 am.

It’s supposed to be a good 3 Star hotel but apart from its location , the sea view and its close proximity to several bars and restaurants I would not recommend it to you. The rooms are really tired, the bathrooms are basic and so small that even our 12 year old felt cramped in it. The toilet leaked when flushed, the shower curtain is on its last legs, the vent between the bathroom and the bathroom next door meant you could hear everything next door. The 2nd bedroom is essentially a room with 2 hard sofas and an old wooden table in the centre. Kids had to live out of suitcases. The staff are all nice and friendly, the pool is a decent size but its very cold. (Although it was October) Worth hiring a car for €40 a day to visit the island, Oia and Thera are certainly a must see with amazing views, lots of shops bars and restaurants. The cable car in Thera was a waste of €50 as nothing open at the bottom. Great place to watch the sun set though. Overall enjoyed Santorini but let down by the quality of accommodation. Kamari beach more like a poor 2 star! Should have booked 4 star or above!

This hotel lies alongside the Kamari Beach and sea. Excellent location, but this means also some noise reaching seaside rooms. Our room was ample with unobstructed sea view and effective air conditioning. However, its furniture needs renovation desperately. Daily cleaning could not have been better. Buildings outside are well maintained. The bath room was adequate by size but the shower curtain allowed water to splash resulting flooding floor. Most essential blame is breakfast service: due to management overreacting the breakfast buffet was replaced with a ridiculous service arrangement. You have queue tens of minutes to get breakfast at worst! If you want a hasslefree breakfast, choose another hotel until Kamari Beach has stopped panicking with corona. However, the friendly staff did its best. Amount of English tv channels is very limited. If you arrive with rental car, there is a small and free parking lot at hotel's backyard. There are several groceries nearby. Erotokritos bakery at the bus stop is excellent although its coffee quality varied a lot.

I wasn’t knowledgeable about the Kamari Beach area when my hotel was changed by my tour company 3 days prior to travel commencing. Turns out this was a mostly pleasant surprise. I will get the negatives out of the way first. The Bathroom in the room had zero counter space for toiletries, and this is a big deal with my husband. The size of the bathroom was roughly equivalent to a cruise ship, but the shower had no curtain of any kind and even while being careful, I managed to get water throughout the bathroom. The overall room size was adequate. The Hotel was on the beach. While the black sand and rock beach closest to the Hotel was pretty, it was not the tropical soft sand you would like to walk for miles on. We did spend a wonderful day at the hotel’s Pool and enjoyed the service and atmosphere of this beautiful pool area very much. The promenade area (along the beach) went for quite a distance with many shops, bars, and restaurants to enjoy. Very fun to walk during the evening. The Bus stop to go to Fira was only a 1–2-minute walk from the hotel and very economical at E1.60 per person one way. The Fira bus station is the gateway to Oia, the Akrotiri area, and the airport. We were in a rush to get to Oia for a sunset viewing and chose a taxi that ran E30.00 for 2 persons, but as I said, we were in a hurry and willing to splurge on this occasion. Both Fira and Oia were must see’s and unique in their own ways. Certainly, more shopping than I would care for, but that was the highlight for my husband.

We stayed in Kamari Beach Hotel for two weeks in August. Had a wonderful holiday. We stayed in a family room with the private swim up pool. Was fabulous. All staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Have re-booked to come back October 2021. Can’t wait. Highly recommend.
