Stayed at this hotel on my own. Rooms are basic but hotel is charming and quiet. Aircon in all rooms. I paid to upgrade to superior as wanted a double bed and a smart tv. Small balcony over looking the smAller pool. Hotel is split into different buildings

Great location wise. Few minutes to beach right my ancient thira mountain and bus stop on next street. Only downside was breakfast was a bit basic and due to COVID you had to ask for what you wanted (no self service) but overall I’d be happy to stay again.

It's a good stay overall with good values, but there are other options nearby (like next door) that could be better.

Check-in and check-out are fine. Language barrier may be the cause of some feedback I read here on the hotel personnel being rude, and I noticed that in our exchanges. I got a kind of upgrade to a bigger room with full bed + a twin, all for myself. The shower is weird that it does NOT have a curtain. The room has a small kitchen with all the silverware and china. It also has a balcony. The bed is fine, pillow could be better. With the price, it's a good deal, nothing great but nothing bad.

Parking is nearby in a dirt/rocky parking area a block away or in the street. I did not use the pool but it looks nice. They offer breakfast but my rate wasn't including it. Instead, I walked down to nearby bakery store and got me breakfast.

Clean and cosy room with a good equipped kitchenette and a nice bathroom. The staff was hepful. The breakfast was various and delicious. The beach is not far from the property. The hotel arranged the airport transfer for 20 euros for two of us.

Unfortunately the photos of this hotel on the website are misleading. We were assigned a room above the pool with 3 beds and kitchenette (we’d specifically requested a double) with extremely worn and damaged fittings and dated decor. I believe some of the hotel has had renovations or modernisation, unfortunately we were still stuck in the part that hadn’t been. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom! Worn, broken fittings, damaged door, shower didn’t drain well and soaked toilet area when in use, despite the afterthought of a shower curtain which hung too high to function correctly and slapped against you as you sat on the toilet. Room 37 in case you’re wondering.
Following our stay at a beautiful hotel on another island, we felt very disappointed with the standards of this one, considering what we paid.
After requesting a double at reception, management agreed to add a topper mattress on top of the two singles. This was done as agreed next day but was still not ideal.
Pool area is pleasant but at 11 the JBL gets hoicked out and music is played loudly until around 8pm.
Breakfast is served in a covid safe manner, you wear a mask and are given a disposable glove. Quality of breakfast on offer is just ok - standard - but nothing to shout about. The tea and coffee machines are grubby and could use a thorough cleaning and wipe down all over.
We had booked a wine tasting and asked reception for advice on getting there. We ended up with a €20 transfer as it was “out by the airport and no buses go there”. Afterwards we asked the winery for advice on getting back and they advised to walk. We walked back in around 30 minutes…
Location of hotel is good, one street back from the beach, close to mini market and bus stop to Fira (next to Poco Loco). Depends what you are looking for, but imo Kamari is extremely touristy and the main drag is about 1km long and full of restaurants, tavernas and bars. If you walk down here you will inevitably run the nightly gauntlet of restaurant staff trying to lure the punters in.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We stayed in the executive suite with an outdoor hot tub the room was very clean looked exactly like the pictures, the hot tub is clean daily (we watched the sunrise from our hot tub almost every day of our seven day trip it was beautiful)

Breakfast included a large variety of hot food and cold meats my favourite was the handmaid Greek yogurt and fresh fruit every day.

We really enjoyed the pool with the Sun lounges, it was always the perfect temperature to cool you down & good has shower facilities. Mike at the pool bar were super friendly, great customer service and lovely drinks no problem tailoring them to your taste.

The Welcome and the customer service throughout the entire hotel was spectacular. This is a family -run hotel and everyone really treat you like one of the family. Luna, Rafaela and everyone on the blue sea team were alway polite friendly and ready to help. Anna-Maria and her family, couldn’t do enough to help make our trip as wonderful as possible.

We are definitely going stay here again and would recommend.

We found this little gem of a hotel while looking to book a last gasp holiday before all destinations were banned (we normally go to Egypt AI). It turned out to be one of the best holidays I have ever been on! The Blue Sea Hotel is situated in an ideal location. Its on the far end of the Kamari strip, about a 3 minute walk to the beach and the fabulous night life of Kamari.

The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered with a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door l. They also were able to recommend places to visit in the beautiful Santorini, restaurants, bars, beaches and sightseeing locations. They helped us find shuttle buses, rentals to go around the island and a boat in order to execute our own boat trip. They made our visit to the island one of a kind. I would definitely revisit and recommend this hotel.

The blue sea hotel did a perfect job for letting us feel comfortable and relaxed. They answered all our questions, at anytime.

The room and cleaning service have been very good.
The man at the reception was very friendly and managed all kind of special wishes.

All in all, we would visit the blue sea hotel again.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this hotel and the owners and staff are .. I have a 12yo autistic son who has never been abroad and hates change and pretty much everything ... I had been able to speak to the owners before hand and explain and wow they went wayyyy above what you would expect to accommodate us.. the hotel is gorgeous 2 pools and areas 1 more quiet with pool shower toilets and apartments with hot tubs clean cool air con obv .. no trouble is too much .. fridge and kettle with some don't have !! The. In the main hotel there are more apartments and rooms all beautiful clean and well laid out (we had 2 Apts) the pool for that side is more social with a bar and lots of couple type sofas and beds over the pool beautiful at night all lit up .. breakfast is served here and again beautiful breakfast ..it's the staff that make it tho especially Anna Marie and her family .. not only is she beautiful on the outside she is gorgeous with her thoughts and caring ... My son would not have stayed had they not been able to do all the extra bits. (Balloons toys quiet area etc ). We will come back again when we can . And it will be to here !! I just can't recommend enough .. kamari is the beach side for want of better description.. it's a strip of beautiful restaurants cafes on level with the beach no steap steps like the other side of the island .. so straight into hot black sand .. wear beach socks! There is no tide as such and children can Wade out a fair bit before it drops so snorkeling at the edge of the sea next to us was possible ... Plenty of choice of type of restaurants but obv fish is an excellent choice .. oh and sorbet .. there is a small steep hill to get to the hotel (obv cars drop off and collect Inc taxis if u need them we hired a car ) but got used to that after a few days and I have a very bad back and hip! But prepare for stairs as they are everywhere except the front strip in kamari it's quite level .. anyway hope the pics do some justice ..

Stayed here with my girlfriend 4th-11th of August and had a wonderful stay.

We booked the executive suite with the outdoor hot tub and it was so spacious. We were lucky to get a sea view, and we didn't realise until our stay that we had another balcony facing west as well.
Room was great, quiet, comfy and clean. On the walk up to ours we were also blessed with the aromas coming from the Captain's Corner on the adjacent street!

The outdoor hot tub is saltwater - Pretty handy for soothing any sunburn.

Pool area is great, pool bar opens from 11 and the staff are dead friendly. There's another pool on the opposite side of the road, but we did not use this. The double loungers at the main pool are really comfy.

Breakfast is mainly continental though there were some cooked items as well so it's a nice mix.

There is a supermarket the street over (opposite the awesome Captain's Corner) and if you follow the street further down there's a great bakery as well.

Had a really lovely stay and would definitely come back

Thank you!

Which room type is best for a sea view?
Answer from John P

You can see the sea from rooms on the right hand side of the road rooms, the hotel in 4 or 5 blocks. The rooms on the reception side do not have such a view. The sea is about half mile away, as the crow flies, but it would be down to the hotel where they put you.
