I had wanted to keep this short but with difficulty as I cannot praise enough!
From the moment we set foot in the hotel we were greeted by Theoni and her Son,Juliano (who are the owners )and Cici who gave us a very warm welcome and showed us personally to our rooms. We immediately felt that this family run business is their passion and nothing was too much trouble.
We had arrived late in the evening but Theoni personally walked us to a lovely restaurant and introduced us to the staff there who again could not be more attentive. It was my Birthday and between my friend and all the staff, I was made to feel very special indeed.
We were given recommendations throughout our stay and greeted every morning with warmth from all the team.Thank you to Costas and Vangelis at the pool bar and The breakfast team for a superb more than continental breakfast!
The town of Kamari has an array of shops, bars and restaurants and a lovely black volcanic beach which is a 5 minute stroll.
The stunning island is steeped in history and worth exploring.
Definitely will be back!

Stayed at selini hotel for 10 days and it was brilliant. Very welcoming staff, attentive and helpful, rooms were very clean and looked after each day,the little details weren’t missed. We booked it after seeing pictures and location, when we got there we realised it was better than anticipated because the pool has been changed to a very stylish and smart looking pool. Just 5 minutes away from kamari beach and all the restaurants it’s a perfect spot to enjoy what the nightlife has to offer without being too close that you hear everything.

Loved everything about this holiday, hotel was friendly we stayed bed and breakfast, just a couple on minutes walk from Main Street, loads of bars restaurants and shops/supermarkets. Loads of walks to go on and places to discover. Local bus takes 20 mins to get to the Capitol, well worth a visit, you can see the ancient ruins from hotel, also worth a visit. We did an all day boat trip round island for about 80euros each, and watched the sun set over Oia which was amazing. Not a bad thing to report about hotel or Santorini 💖

This hotel is only 30 rooms so comfortable size, staff were lovely always helpful and welcoming, would suggest restaurants places to visit or help with directions they have a good local map they give out Our room quite a good size although could have done with a bit more cupboard space., and the only light was from balcony doors, small balcony but comfy to sit on. Lovely choice of breakfast lovely helpful staff there too. Nice pool and nice to sit out by the pool at night and have a few drinks from the bar. Be mindful as you step out of the hotel your straight onto a street so be aware of the drivers they can be a bit fast There is a great selection of restaurants along by the beach a good few mini markets close by to get water provisions etc as you must not use water in Greece i avoided even rinsing my mouth out with it !! and do not throw toilet paper down toilets must put in bin any where you go. Lots of shops to get gifts . Easy to get around the local area , I would highly recommend taking bus tour for a day the bus service is close by. There are alot of wild dogs and cats around i was informed that volunteers do look out for them and they are well maintained injections health care etc. Was very humid when we were there and can be very dusty. On the whole I enjoyed it

Where can I start. This is my first review of a hotel we have stayed at. We are a couple aged 23 and 32 and chose hotel selini for our stay in Kamari, Santorini.
The hotel is a boutique hotel set slightly back from the beach on a quiet road with a 4 minute walk to the beach and local bus stops for exploring the island.
The rooms are typically Greek with neutral tones, large beds and fully functional air conditioning. Everything needed for a great nights sleep.
They were cleaned daily with towels renewed and bedding changed.
The pool area always has readily available sun beds along with other lounging areas such as bean bags and sofas to catch the sun on.
The breakfast area in reception is very cute and intimate making for a great start to the day.
One of the highlights of the hotel is the staff. I’m not great with names so please forgive me however we met with the owners and managers who between them were very accommodating even one day taking us to nearby perissa on their travels. One name I do remember is Simba who is the hotel cat. A great addition to the setting very friendly and attached to his owner you will always find them together.

We have just returned from the Selini Hotel and it was such a good hotel we were very impressed!! It was our first time in Santorini and the reason for the trip was to use it as a base to get to Paros for a friend's wedding. I was apprehensive about everything because for years we have being doing the big 5* all inclusive type holidays and knew that Santorini has no AI.
The moment we walked through the doors of Selini, the apprehension was gone, it was a lovely warm welcome and it was bright, pretty and spotless.
Check in was easy and quick and our room was ready for us, we booked a superior sea view room. The room was bright, fresh and comfortable, again spotless, excellent quality linens, massive bed, quirky bathroom in the Santorini stone style, high end toiletries, fluffy towels.
My favourite part of the room was the traditional style patio doors painted in a lovely aqua colour, they were beautiful!
The pool area is boutique with quirky decor, beanbags and several places to sit as well as very high end comfortable sunbeds and parasols. There are roll beds in the pool too and a jacuzzi which I had not seen on the pictures so that was a lovely surprise.
The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they can't help you enough, a gust of wind blew our suntan lotion off the table one day and before I got myself up to pick it up, the lady from behind the bar was there picking it up for me. They take a genuine interest in your day, what you think of Santorini where you have been and what you have done.
I would 100% recommend this hotel, we had a wonderful relaxing holiday here, the only tips I'd give the hotel is that it would be lovely if there were 2 small bottles of water in the fridge for guests arrival and to vary the music around the pool a bit more but that is being very picky 😍

The hotel and Kamari are just 15mins from the airport which was a great bonus.

On arrival the hotel is off a narrow road but on arrival you are greeted by George or Julian with a great smile great information and the hotel, cases to the room with nothing too much trouble.

Maria the bar lady is full of joy and helpfulness try one of her iced coffees. with Emilia in the afternoons who is again kind and helpful for someone so young.

Breakfast is not complicated but it is easy and plentiful and the kitchen staff do a great job keeping everyone one happy

The hotel and pool area is spotless which is a credit to all the staff.

Location wise it is located perfectly about a steady 10mins walk from the beech. I have walking issues and found it no problem.

Overall a fantastic stay and we aim to return in the future

We visited on our belated honeymoon and this hotel is exceptional. The attention to detail at the property is beautiful especially around the poor and bar area. The staff are delightful helping us plan trips and really make the most of our time on this incredible island. It was pure paradise.

We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn’t fault anything, Thanks Theoni, Cissy and Julian and all your lovely staff, Room 206 had fantastic views of sunrise, very clean and decor beautiful, lovely breakfast, a little bit of heaven in Santorini. Short walk to beach, shops and restaurants, Snacks available from bar, we took our own travel kettle as none in room as we are up early and like a cup of tea. The lovely Cissy organised tours for us which work out cheaper to do, thanks cissy always with a beautiful smile. The friendliness of every member of staff from start to finish made our holiday a relaxing experience, we can’t thank you enough.

We stayed at the Selini hotel for our honeymoon. They very kindly upgraded our room to a larger room with a sea view at no extra cost. The hotel and rooms are very nice. Breakfast is also good with a selection of pastry’s, egg, bacon, bread, cereal etc. Pool area is modern and clean with enough sun beds for the amount of guests. Bar is reasonably priced and well stocked with a wide selection. Staff are very kind, helpful and informative. Elsa and Katerina made our stay enjoyable by helping with bookings at different restaurants and giving us information when needed, both a credit to the hotel. We loved our stay here and definitely would stay here again when visiting Santorini!
