Hello. I stayed in Mario studios from 17.09.2021 to 20.09.2021 in room 4
Location : well located in the region of Kamari . 15 mn drive from the airport. the local bus station that takes you to the main central bus station of Fira is at one minute walk from the Hotel (it takes 40 mn by local bus for the way Kamari to Fira, and from Fira you can take another bus to the airport or port or Oia : Fira to Oia = 30 minutes drive by local bus). there is a supermarket and Taverna in the same street where the hotel is located. The beach is just behind the hotel and you just need two minutes slow walk to find your feet inside the water of the sea. there is also a patisserie just in front kamari bus station ( that`s to say 1 minute slow walk from the hotel ) where you can buy cafes, juices, spinach pies, croissants, and what you need for breakfast.
Room : air conditionned with a nice balcony where you can sit on chair and use its table. there is also a mini fridge that you can use to put your beverages in. shampoo and shower gel are provided when checking in, and upon request for the further days. Housekeeping service is done every 3 days due to the covid-19 situation but you can always ask the staff to privide you with bathroom towels or bad sheets whenever you want. there are few hangers that you can use to hang your clothes on. The bed quality was fine.
The staff : soooooooooooo helpful indeed. for my late check in, Mario`s assistant ( shame on me, I forgot his name ) was waiting for me to give me the room`s magnetic card and also the main entrance`s door magnetic card too. in my 3rd in Santorini, I lost my Bank card and had no cash, therefore, I found my self in a bad situation.It was a sunday, I asked my brother to send me some money so I would cash it out , the only cash out point opened that day was at an hour and half walk from the hotel and I was obliged to take a mountain road. When Mario heard about my situation, he called me when I started my mountain trip to the cash point and asked me to come down to the hotel and lended me 15 euros. It was soooooooooo kind of him. I have really appreciated his help and will never forget it. the staff also allowed me to leave my backpack in the hotel until 4 PM. Again and again, endless big thank to Mario and his assistant.

Room type: deluxe triple with side sea view. 2 beds together plus single bed in room which were comfortable Bathroom: shower, sink and hairdryer (shower gel and soap provided) Small kitchen area but it only catered for two people i.e two mugs/glasses etc. Washing up liquid and scourer provided. Fitted wardrobes with hangers/shelves/drawer space which was enough for the 3 of us Safe located in wardrobe and free of charge Air con was free of charge, please do not go any lower than 23 degrees, recommended setting. Towels changed once, we should have asked for clean towels towards end of stay Room cleaned to an okay standard between 11am-3pm Pool area: only 8 sun loungers, small pool bar and not expensive for drinks Location: 5 minutes to beach (you can either turn left or right). 3minutes to local bakery where we were dropped off and picked up by travel company. This is where you will also find bus stop and road to restaurants/shops. Location was perfect. What to do: watch the sunrise either on beach or behind hotel you will see a road that leads up to the top of a mountain, it takes 45 minutes to get to the top but worth it. Overall comfortable, clean apartments, centrally located. Downside is if you have a late checkout there is no guarantee you can keep your room and there are no facilities to shower ( except using outside pool shower) and change (apart from downstairs WC)

Following positive reviews we chose these studios for a late summer holiday. We were not disappointed. Twelve rooms and we were on the top floor which was ideal. The room was large, clean and the beds very comfy. It is basic accommodation as advertised, a microwave for the kitchen area could be a good addition for some. The daily cleaning was thorough with friendly staff. In addition the 2 guys on the front desk were helpful and attentive. The pool area was spotless with a very relaxed quiet environment (usually but more later). The location was perfect, at one end of the town just away from the main beach front area so generally quiet. The balcony was a good sized area to relax. No problem getting a sunbed by the pool at any time although disappointing a small number of guests found it necessary to reserve their beds by leaving towels and books for a long time. The house rules state not to do this but no action taken to remove the towels etc. My only recommendation would be to consider the establishment becoming adults only. All rooms, except one who arrived 2 days before we left, were taken by adults who clearly enjoyed a peaceful environment which was evident around the pool and at night. A family with 2 young girls were the exception who were very noisy around the pool, on their balcony and at 3am a screaming 5 year old having a tantrum waking me up. The hotel does not have family friendly facilities and I believe an adults only environment would be best for clients and attract more business for the hotel. I also believe Kamari is without doubt the best resort to stay on the island with a great selection of bars, restaurants and a superb prom by the sea. Overall I would highly recommend this establishment for a holiday in Santorini.

lovely time. very reasonable prices. hotel room was spotless. the beds were very comforable and the towels very soft and absorbant. excellent wifi both in the room and by the pool. perfect location (close to the beach, super market and bus stop). the staff were all exceptionally friendly and nice. parking around that area at the moment is very difficult so i recommend using the bus or private transfers to explore the rest of the island. you do not need a car in kamari as everything is just within walking distance. we stayed a total of 5 days at marios' place and we will return.

We stayed here first 4 nights of our 1 week get away and was extremely happy with our stay. We had a basic room with a kitchenette but no complaints except the emergency exit sign was very bright turning the whole room green at night (we had to cover with plastic bags to darken the room) other than that the location is great,1 minute walk from the beach and had plenty of restaurant options on the strip.
The cooking facilities made it easy to make breakfast for ourselves in the morning and check in, check out and the staff were great.
I would stay here again and would recommend it if you are on a budget.

We had a wonderful time at Marios Studios. Great location literally 20 seconds from the beach and close to lots of great food places, shops and a pretty spectacular walking route up the mountainside. The studios are well maintained, spotlessly clean, modern, comfortable and have everything you need. Evvery single member of staff were polite and friendly, made us feel very welcome from the off, and could not do enough for us. The cleanliness of all the studios and the communal areas is testament to the hard work of the two lovely cleaning staff, and the manager and chap on reception were both on hand at all times to help us and to answer questions, helping us book a tour and giving us lots of information about the area. I would heartily recommend staying here. The pool was one of the cleanest I have ever swum in and it is a little sun trap on even the windiest of days. Come and stay here - you will not regret it!

Mario and all his staff made for an excellent 14 day stay at Studio Marios. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and tidy with a lovely little patio overlooking the mountain with only a 5 minute walk from the beach and all the bars/restaurants. We ate at 18 different establishments all with a 15 minute walk.
The rooms are air conditioned with a 2 ring induction Hob, a fridge, kettle, toaster plus a lockable safe.
There is a 24 hour mini market 3 minutes walk away and a brilliant 18 hour bakery also 3 minutes walk away.
The pool and pool area was kept clean and leaf/rubbish free all of the time. All in all a 5 star stay in a self catering apartment.
I would throughly recommend it to anyone that wants to self cater.

Stayed at the apartments 15th to 29th July, and had another great stay, Good size room with balcony and sea view . Rooms were fully equipped, small kitchen with all the usual appliances Aircon was great and required during the night, room safe for use free of charge. Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels as required. Loved staying here and will return. Big thanks to Marino’s for arranging taxi from and to the airport. Santorini airport , what an improvement and beautiful experience we had, very relaxed.

Studios Marios is an excellent place to stay with an awesome location (just 5 min walk to the Kamari beach). The hotel is neat and clean and provides all the basic amenities that you need for your stay. We stayed here for 7 days on the 1st floor with the room facing the sea. Our stay was very comfortable.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I visited with a friend and we loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful and they always gave great advice on places to visit restaurants to eat etc. The location was perfect as the hotel was a 30 second walk to kamari beach and the strip of restaurants, bars and shops along the seafront too! Also the bakery next to the hotel was our favourite place to visit to grab lunch as it was such good food yet also so affordable.
