Spent the weekend at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, was an amazing experience. Kids enjoyed the place, had lots of activities at the main pool area to keep them busy , for the out doors person you have the option of the game drive or self drive through the reserve. The chalets is a home away from home experience very spacious with...

We stayed in a timeshare unit in Ingwe camp. Close to the reception area, pool, bar & restaurant area. Lot's of activities for families/kids. The unit was clean and well appointed. The general game viewing is fine for children or first time bush visitors but not for seasoned bush travelers, mainly antelope species, no evidence of "Big 5" game, unless you count lions...

I would like to advise that booking this site over December is a no go. We visit this camp on numerous occassions. When arriving the camp was disgustingly dirty. Freezers, Fridges filthy. Therefore if you would like to start your break with domestic duties of cleaning up - Great. Most of us at least expect cleanliness. On reporting the situation...

We are a family who has traveled lots of times from overseas to SA, but this time very disappointed by Bush Lodge Properties (Lizelle Bester), the company who rented the place. We stayed with a family of 6 adults in Zazu's Perch, one of the houses you can rent in Mabalingwe. A beautiful house on a very good location: nearby...

We had a very relaxing and wonderful time at Mabalingwe - We camped on stand 52. Stands are big & they are paved...with lots of trees for shade. There is however a lack of braais, dustbins and water points in between the stands. Our stand was located close to the main building, so we used the new ablution facilities...which was...

Our large family usually go away together at the end of the year and this year we chose Leopards haven in Mabalingwe. A combo of two houses next to each other. What a horrible choice. The facilities in the houses are just so below par that it was very uncomfortable for us. The bathrooms were dilapidated and the shower awful....

We stayed in the Kubu Camp no 86, although the unit was not totally finished I can recommend this camp as it is located were you get morning sun until round about 10h30, then it is mostly in the shade resulting in a comfortable stay notwithstanding the outside temp of...

We visited Mabalingwe game reserve and we stayed at Kanya lodge. It was more than we expected at the rate we paid. It was beautiful, clean and the owner was very helpful. It's next to the entertainment center. Quiet and very comfortable.

This reserve is ideal for self drive. We went as a whole family of 9 people with three children all of whom had a wonderful time. It's a bit dry so we were able to see much including a whole family of giraffe. There are houses on the property that can be renting which are ideal. The kids loved swimming...
