Stayed here for one night whilst on business in the area and it's a great hotel away from the centre with helpful staff. Some key points - you can walk to the local shops and stock up on amenities; - the in house restaurant is great and offers a great local cuisine; - bar staff are friendly; - local park... More

While some German provincial hotels can be a bit disappointing, this is a nice example of a good small hotel. The prices are good, the rooms are large, clean and modern and the staff efficient. I used this place as I was passing thought the area, and it was perfect for my needs. Only two minor issues, in my subjective... More

We staid at this hotel whilst attending the rheinmetal leader symposium and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel has some very old and traditional features but with some modern twists. The wifi is free after you register but the negatives here are that you have to register per device and it only seems to work on the bottom floor. The... More

I spent one night at the Deutsche Eiche, and the hotel was nice. Not modern and rich of services, but clean and with a familiar feeling about it. The room was quite ample, clean. The bathroom pretty basic. There is a good restaurant also for breakfast. Staff very kind and prices really low. A very good hotel

Staff were all helpful and friendly, and the room we stayed in was clean and well looked-after. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Uelzen with a car park at the front and the back of the building.

I spent one night in the hotel during the week for business reasons. I was positively surprised by the hotel by the set-up. Nice welcome hall, rustical but well mantained building and facilities. Room was very clean and most likely recently renovated. Very large and well equipped. Breakfast was very complete. Only downside was service, which was of different quality... More

Small village hotel in Uelzen. Hotel function well, but is not an interesting place to stay. Mostly young and service minded people run this place. It is far too much 1970´ties so if you like conifer wood and brown paint, this is it! Internet connection is poor. Beds are best for persons heavier than 75 kg. Kitchen is short and... More
