Influenced by the mix of English and Spanish architecture, our main building is a treat for one’s eyes. Constructed in the early 1940s for the purpose of housing and providing office work space for the Prime minister of PEPSU state (now Punjab), Nawab Liaqat Hyaat Khan. Later maharaja of Nalagarh resided in this property because of this importance it was referred to as the Nalagarh house. Turning of this heritage property into the best hospitality experience began in 1993.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent tasty food. We tried the chicken tikka , Mushroom tikka . Both were yummy and was made as per our spice tolerance. The mutton Rogan josh was excellent with soft mutton pieces . Dal makhni was tasty too. We finished it off with some chilled sweet lassi. Each n every food item was delicious. Ambience and service both were good. They have an open lawn with live music band playing songs. Overall a very nice experience.

* It is one of the oldest & fine dining restaurant in the city. * As the name suggests, it is having a large garden in the front & outdoor space in the backyard for small gatherings. * The indoor ambience is so romantic with a touch of royalty. * The waiters are so polite & the service is superb. * Their food is to die for especially the sizzlers, fried fish, cutlets, mutton curry etc. * They have a well equipped bar having a wide variety of single malts & cocktails. * We have ordered Talisker (60ml) on the rocks & it was superb.

This hotel has a small reception leading to a few simple but comfortable rooms. The staff tried very hard to help us even if we felt they are more used to Indian clients. The restaurant is very popular and busy with very big portions of food. Well kept gardens.

Stayed at the Garden Resort for a couple of nights. The Resort has a small entrance into their reception which is alongside a small garden which seemed to be well maintained. The rooms are very old and average. Do not expect too much from the rooms. The service from the staff during my visit was good.

I have been visited their reataurant on several occasions. The most recent visit was with our family for my anniversary. Over the years, the place has managed to keep up the quality of food. Though I don't stay in Patiala, but I make sure I eat here whenever I am visiting. One is really spoilt for choice when it comes to food options.
