This was our second visit to the Palacio and in fact we stayed an extra night despite the expense because it is so lovely, and there are plenty of things to do and see in the area. This time we were given a suite, very luxurious. The whole thing is highly personal and special. The manor house has been restored...

The hotel is a rennovated manor house in the hills of the Asturias region. It is a really beautiful building that feels warm and inviting. We stayed in the tower room and I would really recommend trying to book that room for the view alone! Alicia and Antonio were the perfect hosts. Alicia cooked the most wonderful meals and was...

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and had a fabulous long weekend. Even the weather was unusually hot and sunny. This is easily one of the nicest and friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in. The building itself is beautiful in all aspects, with spectacular views from just about every window. It is ideally situated for visits to...

A beautifully restored sixteenth century manor house in a lovely setting. Perfect in all senses, so this is not going to be a standard review, because what makes Palacio de Prelo really special is Alicia and Antonio's exquisite hospitality and their knack to make you feel welcome, comfortable and taken care of. Their knowledge of the area is exhaustive, the...

A place that will allow you to disconnect from the rest of the world and to recharge your batteries. Antonio’s and Alicia’s hospitality goes well beyond one would expect. We felt genuinly cared for...

Our family of four are grateful to Antonio and Alicia for their hospitality, kindness and willingness to share their passion for their region. Of course, they have all the ´big' aspects of their property right- cleaniness/comfort of the rooms, amenities and high quality cuisine but its also the little touches which made the difference. It was a very relaxing three...

Unforeseen problems at home meant we had to cut short our three week tour of France, and Spain and we chose this beautiful Palacio for an overnight stop on our way back to catch the ferry at Santander. Our one night here in this beautiful location made the changes worthwhile. Although we booked at very short notice we received an...

The owner couple of the hotel - Alicia and Antonio - were immaculate hosts. The hotel is ideal situated for hiking in the beautiful Asturian mountains. We had our dogs with us and despite it being a luxury hotel there was an incredible fuss made about them.
