Bambuda Lodge is the only place in Bocas with a waterfront location and a massive pool. Only 5 minutes from town, Bambuda offers the perfect blend of good vibrations and chilled out atmosphere. We have a coral reef for snorkeling and acres of lush jungle for exploring. Our on-site bar and restaurant will keep the cold drinks flowing while you relax by the pool. Spend time in one of our many interesting hang out spots where you can enjoy the amazing view and the delicious food with friends. -We have a full tour office and we can arrange countless activities for you around the islands that will keep you busy for weeks. Onward travel to somewhere in Panama or Costa Rica can be arranged for you easily. Within Bambuda's 14-acre property there are hiking trails through the jungle, coral reef snorkeling directly in front, and countless plants, fruits and animals living all around us.

A friend and I stayed at Bambuda for 4 nights on our trip from Costa Rica to Panama. From the moment we checked in the staff was super helpful and kind. They are able to assist with any questions or transports we needed. The hotel runs on a tab style so you can lounge, drink,

When researching our trip to Panama, we pretty much immediately stumbled over Bambuda lodge. We saw the video and decided that this would be the highlight at the end of our trip, and that we would treat ourselves to a nice Deluxe room. At 180 $ a night, it came at quite a cost

Debated staying here and wish we had! Although they call it a hostel it certainly does not feel like it. Beautiful views, pool and a slide into the ocean. We ended up visiting for the day which was a quick boat ride from the main island (fee to visit is $8). Enjoyed some

Hello Kukka, we have a Monday night sangria night and we all go to a Caribbean dance-hall party with live music. We also have trivia night and other games we play. Otherwise we can organize any tours available in Bocas from the Lodge.

Hi Catherine, yes the boats run 24/7. We have many people catching the early morning flights and shuttles from Bocas in the mornings, so staying at the lodge is not a problem. The important thing to remember is that reception opens at 8am, so you will need the reception staff to organize the boat for you the night before. And for your other question, yes if you want to go to Bocas the water taxi charges each direction. However we have many activities on the property, and many of the tours we offer will pick up and drop off at Bambuda at no additional cost.

Hello, Bambuda doesn't allow children under age 16 unfortunately. Water taxis operate 24 hrs a day so people don't feel stranded, plus there are so many activities at the lodge that you can see and do some of the best of Bocas right on the island itself.
