This is a magnificently appointed hotel. each room is decorated with interesting furniture and beautiful fabrics. The public rooms on the first floor are warm and inviting for a drink before dinner or after the days activities. Our room was large and we loved the decor. The bathroom was funky , but had both a shower and an old fashioned... More

There are many excellent Hotels in France but none like this. On arrival one has the immediate impression that it is a lived in Chateau and you are welcomed as a member of the family. We arrived on a quiet day and were immediately offered an upgraded room. It was very spacious with elegant furnishings and a walk-in shower room... More

Stopped on my way through France, very welcoming and dog friendly. Nice rooms with en suite and very helpful hosts. Nice atmosphere with aperitif on the terrace and then the meal which was fabulous . Definitely one to go back to. Beautiful building and garden and not far from the motorway so easy to find.

On arrival just managed to squeeze car through gates to see a very impressive building with lovely large car park. We were greeted warmly and shown the facilities and our rooms. The rooms are quirkily furnished and quite spacious. Unfortunately our friends room had just had the floor polished which brought up some allergies. This was dealt with very speedily... More

Stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais and absolutely loved this place! The chateau is picture perfect and the room (Henry IV room) was not only steeped in history but was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. We had a balcony overlooking the grounds, which was an added bonus. Dinner is an... More

Beautifully appointed and decorated chateau - wonderful staff and lovely couple of proprietors who also live at the chateau. Breakfast and dining very good and always served with a smile. Good value for money. For couples as well as families. Really recommend.

This hotel is amazing. Gorgeous grounds including a pool, open lawns for croquet, trampolining and table tennis allow you to explore more than in most hotels. There are separate rooms available in a cabin in a copse as well as an Orangerie in addition to those in the chateau. The table d'hôte menu is delicious and cooked by the hotel... More

The best way to unwind after a long days travelling. Our room (Canard) was perfect for a family of 4. The grounds are great for exploring with lots of things to do with the children. The owners were exceptionally friendly and we loved both dinner and breakfast. We only stayed 1 night on our way down from Calais to Cognac... More
