We spent the last night of the Rail Trail here and it was the best!!! Rooms were large, modern and very comfortable. Attention to detail amazing and every comfort catered for. The host was very welcoming and served us our dinner in the lovely dining room. Would highly recommend to other travellers

Wonderful accomodation enjoyed on completion of the 2nd day of the rail trail coming from Clyde. Comfortable large bed, great shower, flat screen TV, micro wave and tea and coffee making facilities. In addition the property has a spa pool and washing and drying facility's available for your use. Our booking came with a wonderful continental breakfast.

Stayed at Hawkdun Lodge during our South Island tiki tour and have to say exceeded our expectations. Had the Eweburn room and was spacious, modern and the most comfortable bed. Would recommend to anyone doing the Central Otago rail trail. Richard and his team were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were perfect. Host was extremely friendly and helpful and the spa pool and massage chair were amazing! Perfect place to stop if you are on the rail trail and hawkdun lodge is very close to trail. Secure parking for the bikes and the breakfast was lovely as well. Would definitely recommend without hesitation

A friendly welcome by Richard, who was helpful during our stay. We had an elegant, beautifully decorated, spacious studio room. While the room had a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge, we were able to use the very well appointed communal kitchen/dining/lounge area. Great to have the use of a washing machine and dryer too (free). Can definitely recommend.
