A lovely clean, friendly and relaxing hotel. The drinks and food at the pool bar are delicious and are very reasonably priced and very welcome after a day lounging around the pool. What makes this hotel extra special is the staff. They are so friendly and professional and nothing appears to be too much trouble for them. ALL the staff are brilliant but a special mention must be made to the cleaning staff who kept our rooms spotless on a daily basis and to Monica who always seemed to be on hand whenever we needed help or advice. See you next year as we have already booked for June 24.

Another fabulous holiday and memories to cherish at this hotel. GoGo and Monica work extremely hard to make your stay special. Ellie and Leah also work very hard looking after the bar and food (which is delicious and reasonably priced) The housekeepers make sure all rooms are cleaned, and fresh towels are put out regularly. The gardens and pool area are beautifully maintained and kept immaculate.. We wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing stress free holiday. We will defiantly be retuning for a 4th year.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10 nights. Outstanding hotel. We loved every minute of our stay here and couldn’t recommend it enough. Small and friendly with a very relaxed atmosphere, it was right up our street. While our room was a little on the small side, it wasn’t an issue as it was modern and spotlessly clean - the maids came in daily to clean and change our towels. Breakfast is a healthy continental style breakfast with a fresh selection of meats, cheeses, salads, breads, boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, honey, and melon etc. The pool area is well kept and has a chilled vibe, although it did start to get a bit crowded come the end of our stay with the usual early morning scramble for sunbeds. It wasn’t a major issue though, and the beach is literally a 5 minute walk (if that). The pool bar serves lovely lunch time snacks which are very reasonably priced and freshly prepared. The hotel is in a good location, with the main strip only a 10 minute walk away. However, the hotel is directly on the flight path and the planes look like they’re literally about to land on the hotel!!! But we didn’t find this an issue, it was quite fascinating to watch, and thankfully there are no night flights into Zakynthos because of the turtles so the planes don’t keep you up all night, although I would wake at the sound of the first flight coming in around 5:30am. What makes this hotel though is the staff - they couldn’t do enough for you. Check out is at 10am, but we had an evening flight so I asked beforehand if it was possible for a late checkout. No problem at all and free of charge, which meant that we could enjoy the last couple of hours left of our holiday by the pool. This is a hotel that looks after their guests in every sense - not like your massive chain hotels that try to rip you off in every way possible. Great hotel and we left with very happy memories.

Just returned from 5 nights at this hotel. The hotel is near the airport so very short transfer, and is located very close to the beach. The beach is great, shallow with clear water and goes for miles.

Check in was good and quick, I hadn’t realised that air con was extra so paid for that along with the tourist tax.

We were in room 111. Unfortunately this is where I felt disappointed. The room was tiny and the shower was a joke. The shower was tiny and the doors didn’t close properly so flooded the bathroom, also the shower had a tap sticking out halfway up one wall and a shelf sticking out halfway up the other. It was a nightmare. Also they are solar heated so don’t expect a hot shower on a morning until the sun has warmed the water. I’ve never avoided having a shower so much ever. I had to turn the water off to wash my hair and body. The door frame around the bathroom door was covered in something awful. The doors of the wardrobe were a mess and the balcony light never got switched on so I couldn’t read my book on the balcony which is part of my holiday. Several lights didn’t work in the room as well as one bedside light switch falling off.

Breakfast is a highlight of my holidays normally but I’ve never felt so disappointed. The plates are side plates and you can’t fit 2 pieces of toast side by side, along with the cereal bowls being tiny. Everyday there are 2 warm items which ranged from pizza to sausages. Basically I had toast and a croissant every morning which was a disappointment. Also you have to collect your own cutlery and put your dishes away.

We got up at 7am to go on a trip and noticed all of the loungers had towels on even though there were signs saying it wasn’t allowed. I hate the stress of this and it doesn’t make for a relaxing holiday for me. Instead we went to the beach and paid 20 euro there.

We spoke to many guests who return year after year. It seems they get the good rooms and service while others are forgotten about.

At 50 years old we were the youngest I saw there yet we were given a room on the ground floor with a ramp to it, meanwhile we saw people in their 80s struggling upstairs, it didn’t make sense to put the youngest guests in the most accessible room.

Kalamaki is ok, but basically a purpose built street if restaurants. We got the bus into Zante town and that was so much nicer and more authentic. We walked the beach to Lagañas and that area was wild, and for the young crowd.

Overall it was ok but because of the breakfast and shower I wouldn’t return to this hotel.

This hotel is out of this world. Definitely 4 stars. We loved every second from arriving to being waved off when we sadly had to depart. The hotel staff are unbelievably amazing. I have never seen such caring people when genuinely do all they can wanting us to enjoy our time there, they are faultless. The hotel rooms are very spacious, extremely clean and tidy. Tea making facility was helpful. Air con, even though was an added extra on arrival which we knew, was a must, as the temperature we were there was nearly 40°C. I had emailed prior to arriving to ask some questions and they replied very quickly. Our balcony was facing a beautiful garden and on the flight path of the planes arriving and departing. For us it was amazing such an added bonus watching them. The small dining area for a continental style breakfast is so sweet. Kept perfectly clean and replenished. The grounds are superb and the lovely little ponds for the terrapins and fish. As for Junior the baby in reception we love him. The pool was lovely. Thankfully there were some floating noodles which I needed as half of the pool was too deep for me as being a non swimmer but I was here there and everywhere in the pool. The pool bar just so tranquil. Lovely freshly cooked food. Decent pricing too. The ice-cream is the best. The hotel is pretty much in between the main road up the top and the beautiful beach the other way. Perfect position for us. We saw some baby turtles which had just hatched on the beach, breathtaking. So much to do in Kalamaki down the main road, restaurants and gift shops. Laganas is definitely great for night life sitting on the beach drinking a cocktail. Just paradise the whole local area. On leaving we had to check out at 10 but were able to use the facilities throughout the day and shower and freshen up before departing. I can truly say I have never had tears leaving a holiday before but being waved off I had them. I am hoping to return next year and bring more of the family as Louros Beach Hotel should be seen by everyone. Thank you everyone at Louros Beach xx The Cooper family miss you all

First of all this is not a four star hotel, I was told that this was a government assessment to get a higher rate of tourist tax. We were given a substandard room couldn't swing a cat in the shower which leaked all over the floor, the room was small no room. We stuck it for 4 nights and we were moved to another room which was bigger, the terrace was above the staff entrance and no sun at all during the day, noise from the comings and goings of the staff. The hotel is on the flight path of the airport and the planes are so close going over the pool. The pool is near a main road with cars speeding up and down and delivery trucks.
The breakfast is really poor very little choice, continental style, the word I would give this is cheap. Tui rep did nothing to help with our situation. Zante is the worst Island that we have stayed on, run down no promenade nowhere to walk just a strip of over priced restaurants on a very dangerous road with very few pavements and boy racers speeding. This is the worst holiday that we have been on and looking at the other reviews from people coming back every year they are probably favoured with the better rooms.

Without a doubt the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff work so very hard to keep the rooms and surrounding areas spotless. Shower was fantastic, room has everything you need, kettle, hairdryer, fridge and tv. Pool great size and jacuzzi which is on twice a day for two hours at a time. Pool bar prices are good and all the staff in the hotel are excellent nothing is to much trouble. There are plenty of sun beds and didn’t struggle to find two free even though everyday I would witness people getting up early sometimes before 6.30 to leave towels on then sometimes not using the beds until after 2pm tut tut ! There are signs all over saying please don’t do this but hey if that’s your thing and you have to sit in the same place for your entire holiday knock yourselves out ! We ate and drank at the pool bar often food is good, ice creams are great, cold glasses plenty of ice in the drinks can’t go wrong. All the staff ask is take your plates and glasses back to the bar not a massive thing but people not doing this annoyed me so much pure laziness when you see that either Elle or Leah are working solo in the heat it’s a simple ask. Breakfast is continental and perfectly adequate with plenty on offer to choose from. Gardens are beautiful. This is a quiet hotel don’t expect party time or loads of activities it is very chilled. Very relaxing holiday :)

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a couple of very friendly staff members, Check in was swift and were being shown to our room within 15mins of arrival. There are no lifts so the case had to be carried up a few stairs, and up a small ramp up to the room.
The room was modern looking with not a lot of space, there weren't enough drawers to put your clothes mainly shelves, the bathroom was a wet room and modern in style and of a decent size, the room had a mini fridge which you could only fit one large bottle of water in with a carton of milk. there was a kettle, a couple of cups and plastic glasses and 2 teaspoons. no other cutlery. The balcony was a good size and it was great sat there watching the planes coming in to land as we were just off the flight path, you could nearly see the pilots in the plane. The beds were hard and towards the end of our stay started getting aches and pains. A basic average room.
Breakfast was ok not a huge amount of choice and some mornings you had a choice of eggs cooked in 2 different was such as fried and an omelette, along side boiled eggs the usual continental assortment and a couple of cereals. there was one coffee machine and one juice machine and a small rotating toaster. The breakfast was slightly challenging at times as there was not a lot of room to move, and with queues for the machines it could be quite annoying.
The gardeners worked hard on maintaining the gardens which were a work of art, the hotel on a whole was aimed towards the older generation as there was no entertainment, no kids pool and a very chilled place to be, which we enjoyed very much.
The entertainment in the hotel across the way could be quite loud on the evenings.

Monicka and the team are so pleasant and helpful, nothing too much for them. Set about 10 minutes stroll from the main road and 5 minutes stroll from the beach this is a great location for everything.
The pool and surroundings are great and the bar is a great place to relax and enjoy the wide range of drinks available. A bottle of Mythos for €3 and a glass of wine for €2.50 you really can't go wrong. Breakfast is continental and a good selection available to suit all requirements.
Delight Bar at the top of the road is great for both food and drink and the staff were so friendly. We also did the Greek night at The Family Restaurant which was really enjoyable, Olive Tree is another for a lovely meal though we found the staff not as engaging as everywhere else however the dining our highlight had to be at Pandesia Restaurant where Lorenzo (aka The Godfather) and his team make it such an amazing experience.
We also did the midnight cruise through Nefis Travel who have always been our go to your company as everything is so well organised.
We had a truly wonderful time here and the week absolutely flew by. We hope to get back one day soon and would highly recommend Louros Beach Hotel and Kalamaki for a truly Greek holiday experience.

We have just returned from an 11 stay at the Louros Beach Hotel in Kalamaki and can highly recommend. The staff very friendly and helpful the maids service is very good towels changed every day and rooms cleaned every day. Rooms are a bit basic but have everything you need to be comfortable. (The air con is pricey but works really well) so worth the money. The grounds are lovely and well kept and looks really nice when you come back after a night out all lit up with a cosy feel. Pool bar served really good food and Ellie especially friendly and hardworking she also makes hand made gifts which she shows inside a grand piano by the pool bar we bought 2 little trees a lemon and an orange tree made from copper wire really lovely be sure to check them out if you decide to go. Monica helped us so much on reception booking taxis and arranging car hire for us nothing too much trouble. On leaving we left one of our hand luggage cases at the hotel and were already at the airport when we noticed Monica made a special journey to bring it to the airport for us!! we were very well looked after. The pool is lovely only downside I can think of is that it made our swim wear yellow for some reason and the sunbeds could do with updating it would make the space much more luxurious around the pool. Breakfast is basic but all really good and you can eat n a nice outside space or inside continental style but plenty to choose from. Overall then we had a wonderful holiday and were hosted by wonderful people. We will definitely return
