A lovely lovely resort. Such lovely gentle staff. Yasir part of the front office team made us feel so special. Vagelis (the room division manager) is one of the most efficient managers ever along with Sevastianos and other senior managers. On a daily basis the senior staff can be seen doing all the work alongside all the junior staff. Serving guests. That’s how they remain close to staff and tackle issues if they ever come up. Mitsis is lovely for families. Yasir in the front office team. Nico and Kostas at the Beach Bar. All made us feel so much at home. Also the food. Everyday is different and amazing. Also a truly all inclusive. Not one of those that is called all inclusive but then limited. No. All inclusive means all inclusive. Simple. We have been twice and may even go back a third time.

Loved it so much came back for another go and they’ve made it even better! There are more restaurants now so you can eat out of the buffet area almost every night if you wish too. We stayed in the beautiful maisonette directly opposite the pool, it was as if the pool was in our garden which was wonderful for the children. The rooms were spacious, light and very beautiful with two bathrooms and a lovely seating area. The grounds of the hotel are still kept very tidy and the gardens are immaculate. Wonderful staff, restaurants, choice of food and drink. The entertainment is great. The whole feel of the place is effortlessly relaxed. Sadly we were delayed a night because of the air traffic control farce but we still had the best time of a little shorter than planned. Will be back again!

We stayed in a double room with our own pool in October. The hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely and clean the only thing in the room we didn’t like was the double bed was two singles together however that’s a personal preference that we don’t like. Obviously the pool was cold however we made the most of it! The room was cleaned very well by such hardworking and dedicated teams every day and staff were so very polite! The main buffet had a lovely variety of food for breakfasts and lunches …food was warm and tasty. The staff here were lovely too. I can’t comment on dinners as we ate in the other restaurants on site. The pool bar was a let down as staff there were not very friendly and I did feel like I was an inconvenience to them when asking for drinks. The cocktails - I’m an island ice tea person… the cocktails were too acidic or too alcoholic to actually even drink that I ended up being put off of most of them. The restaurants - First of all I found it abit annoying that you were limited on what drink you could have inside these restaurants only beer, wine, fizzy drinks or water… a nice cocktail wouldn’t go amiss with a meal. Secondly the food … I did not rate them. I’m so sad to say but the food in the buffet was a better quality than in the restaurants. I left every night feeling a underwhelmed. We stayed at Eden roc in Rhodes in oct 22 and the food there was IMMENSE!!! The food here was not on par at all and it’s so sad to say it as staff were so lovely and the place was so beautiful. In a few of the restaurants and around the site one thing I didn’t enjoy was having to scan a code for a menu or for drinks I would have liked to have just had a look on a wall or a menu sheet to pick rather than the unsociable phones. The food was edible however it just was not what you would expect. For example:Steak full of fat, in the Mexican it was steak with some cheese sauce which was so strange to taste … chicken fajitas were slimy as were almost tasting like out of a jar. As well as veg which you can see in the pics look like straight from a tin can. I would compare it to a really old dingy Spoons where the food is shoved in a microwave and you get what you get. Even then spoons would be more appealing. The late night crepes made by the lovely lady who works late into closing was so lovely and hard working . The evening bar … staff come to your table on a waiter service… which can be hit or miss. Some nights we were sitting being what felt like ignored by staff … also no one tells you it’s waiter service until you’re standing at the bar looking like a lemon and then get all embarrassed. We used the upstairs bar some nights when we waited soooo long for a drink! All in all the room was nice, staff on the whole are amazing the views are incredible and I enjoyed my stay apart from the Al a carte restaurants … We wouldn’t come back and when looking at other Mitsis it seems like restaurants seem to be very similar which puts me off wanting to chance a different Mitsis on another island unfortunately .

Beautiful hotel. Nightly entertainment top class. Food fabulous with lots of choice. We had to leave 3 days early due to bereavement and staff gave us a refund without us even asking for one and arranged transport to the airport. They even refunded the hotel tax . Extremely kind and helpful staff. Thank you again.

My experience at this hotel fell short of expectations, and I would like to share some constructive feedback. The website and promotional materials showcased what seemed to be 5-star quality dining, with a focus on "fine dining" and enticing images of delicious food. Unfortunately, the reality did not align with these representations. The food at the hotel, in my opinion, did not meet the standard one would expect from a 3 or 2-star establishment and fell below what I have experienced elsewhere. The main buffet restaurant was often crowded, making it challenging to find clean dishes and cutlery. The cleanliness of the plates was inconsistent, with a notable chance of encountering dirty or wet dishes. The buffet's cleanliness standards were not up to par, as the plates were not adequately cleaned, dried, or heated. On several occasions, I had to make multiple rounds before finding something worth eating. The quality of the food, such as undercooked tortellini and questionable sushi, left much to be desired. I observed a bird in the morning buffet, and it seemed that the staff overlooked this matter. Additionally, the hotel's a la carte restaurants were difficult to book, requiring a four-week advance reservation. However, these restaurants often appeared underutilized. It seemed that the hotel prioritized the visual appeal of the facility over the overall guest experience. The staffing practices also raised concerns, as the hotel employed young workers from various countries, possibly to reduce costs. This, coupled with the apparent focus on maximizing guest capacity, created an environment that felt more like a tourist factory than a quality hospitality establishment. Despite booking a 14-day stay with optimism based on the website and reviews, my experience led me to leave a week early. We were able to obtain a refund for the second week by informing the hotel about our concerns, including reporting them to Expedia for potential false marketing. In conclusion, I would caution potential guests to carefully consider their choice of this hotel. My experience was disappointing, encompassing issues with both the food quality and overall guest services. Even if food is not a primary concern for you, other aspects such as room conditions and amenities fell short of expectations. It is my hope that this feedback contributes to improvements in the future.

I travelled with my cousin and we stayed in a Twin Private Pool "swim-up" room. Upon arrival, there were long queues to check-in as quite a few guests arrived at the same time in coaches. They offered drinks and advised some guests to go to the restaurant for lunch and return later to check in. We opted to wait in the queue. The first room we were allocated had a heavy leak in the hallway just outside the front door. We noted this and took pics which I will add shortly. The electronic key card didn't work so they gave us an actual key to unlock the door. Inside, there had Baklava on the table which was a nice treat. There were a few issues we noticed right away such as, brown water when I ran the taps, loose fittings in the bathroom, the lights didn't work as it needed a key card to operate- which wasn't working. We went back to reception to complain about the issues and after a (long) while we were allocated a different room. The new room was almost perfect! Spacious, light, and airy. It was the same level as we had booked but much better maintained and in a superior (quieter) part of the hotel. The pool however, was dirty with dead bugs in it, we called the concierge to request a clean and they eventually sent someone down to clean it. The water in the pool was very very cold but obviously that's out of the Hotel's control. Weather-wise, despite the blue skies, it was cold/nippy throughout our stay during the first or second week of April. We even asked for an extra blanket during the 2nd night because it was far too cold! They kindly brought it down to us although we did have to call the concierge more than once to check that the request had been put in as they took so long. I asked some workers at the hotel and they said early April is generally a bit cold and the best time to visit (if you want it super hot) starts from May. The rooms were cleaned when we left each morning and they were cleaned to a good standard. The mini bar was not always fully restocked by housekeeping, but someone would pass by later during the day to check if we needed drinks etc. We used the laundry service once and our belongings were returned perfectly clean after a day or so. Usually this is a chargeable service, however we were not charged presumably due to other problems at the hotel. Restaurants: I cannot stress enough that you must make a reservation at the restaurants BEFORE your holiday. Otherwise only the main dining room will be available to you. All the à la carte restaurants are always fully booked. I saw a review stating this before my trip so luckily I had booked to try all the places at least once. Having said that, unfortunately, some of the restaurants were not open at all during our stay, others opened much later in the week. There was a lot of construction still going on around the hotel and some of the restaurants and bars were quite simply unavailable/not opened/ under construction, despite the hotel advertising them as "ready" on their website. That was quite disappointing. It would have been better for the hotel to be upfront about this fact prior to the trip, especially when guests are placing bookings online to eat at these non-existent establishments. Alternatively they could have notified us upon arrival but instead you only found out when you went to ask where a particular restaurant was located, only then would you learn that it is not actually open at all. I think these issues were mainly due to our trip being the first week of their season after being closed for the winter months. However for a "5 star" establishment they really should have made all the necessary preparations before receiving guests. The lack of communication of the issues did not help the situation either. There were murmurs of discontent amongst a few of the other guests over these issues too. Main restaurant- lots of food options, but it would help if there were labels on everything. If only to help people with allergies. Some things were labelled, others not. There was a kiosk by the beach serving Souvlaki, it was very tasty with both chicken and pork options. The unfortunate thing is that there were very long queues for that and on more than 2 occasions, they ran out of food. The bar by the beach served good drinks too but there was also a long long wait in the queue for that. Spa: we only went to use the Hammam and the pool as we had no treatments booked. We were given complimentary access to spa facilities for 2 hours due to aforementioned issues at the hotel. We went on two occasions, both times we went, it was fairly quiet and very clean. Activities: There is a lot to do by the beach, we went paragliding and paddle boarding. Entertainment: The evening entertainment in the main part of the hotel wasn't great to be honest and everything ends way too early in the night. Overall, the people were friendly and tried to help where they could. I would stay here again but probably later in the season, when the weather is likely to be warmer and perhaps by then the hotel would have ironed out all the issues we faced.

A wonderful family holiday. We met lots of lovely like-minded people. Kids club staff were delightful - especially Maria and Anastasia, who took excellent care of our five-year-old. We were spoilt by almost limitless evenings at the wide selection of a la carte restaurants. Which, if you use the digital booking screens when you're there were happy for you to book more than once. Brunch was a particular highlight, where our server (a wonderfully maternal lady, who's name began with M) encouraged us to over order and we feasted on full cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt and the most incredible pancakes!! We also had great service from a Bulgarian man, called Stoyan. We went out a few times, got the bus into Kos town and took a boat trip on the Yellow Submarine. Highly recommend. And hired a car to do some secluded beaches, shipwrecks and the forest with the peacocks roaming around. We were going to visit the beaches with the flamingos, but it was the wrong time of year.

Dear Nicola, It sounds like you had an amazing family holiday! Meeting like-minded people always adds to the experience. It's wonderful to hear that the Kids Club staff, especially Maria and Anastasia, took such great care of your little one. Exploring the various a la carte restaurants and being able to book multiple times through the digital screens must have been quite convenient. The brunch experience sounds fantastic, especially with the encouraging server who made sure you indulged in a delicious spread. Those incredible pancakes sound like a highlight! It's great that you ventured out a bit, exploring Kos town via bus, enjoying the Yellow Submarine boat trip, and even hiring a car to discover secluded beaches, shipwrecks, and forests with roaming peacocks. Even if the timing for the flamingo beaches wasn't right, it seems like you had quite the adventure! Thanks for sharing your wonderful holiday experiences! Firstly, the overall experience and stay at Mitsis Blue Domes was incredible. It’s one of the most stunning resorts we have ever been too, always clean, and plenty of space around the resort to explore, relax and swim! Check in was okay, however, could have been better. The staff member didn’t really explain the hotel, or give us a map. He just passed us the keys and nothing else. Breakfast was varied with plenty of choice. Always something to eat and hot food. Service could be a bit quicker in the buffet restaurant however overall enjoyable experience. The breakfast buffet would defiantly benefit from another toaster also. The pool areas and resort grounds are incredible. You feel as if you’re living in a Greek dream. Plenty of sun beds and no issues with getting a bed, however, we went at the start of October. This could be different for other times if the year. More staff needed for front reception. Often had to queue to ask a question or for help. Desk is big enough for more people so not sure why there wasn’t more people to service it especially when it was busy. Booking a taxi was very long winded. We had to book through the concierge and then go back to reception to pay? And when there are queues this can be very frustrating when all we wanted was a cab. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for our cab to turn up. The beach was great with lovely blue seas. The food overall throughout the different places to eat in the hotel was amazing. We really enjoyed the choices we had each day to go and eat! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort.

We are regulars at the mitsis hotels previously visiting Rhodes and crete on numerous occasions so had high expectations with it being part of the premium collection. On arrival the check in was smooth and we were offered cold towels which is always a nice touch. There was no welcome drink which for a 5 star we would always expect. We tried the evening buffet that night as we had a late flight in, the food was okay, alot of it was luke warm at best though. Our room was lovely, a good size and we had a jacuzzi on the balcony. I can't fault the maid cleaning service as the room always looked good. We used all of the ala carte restaurants (we were a party of 12 so prebooked before we went). The best were the South american, Asian and Elindiko (the staff here were also lovely). It was a split decision on the Greek as half had a great meal ( the lobster) and others weren't so keen. The Greek brunch was lovely and the lady serving was the most friendly person we had encountered whilst there. The Italian was not so great, alot of items had run out and the staff didn't seem happy to be there. We ordered a starter and out of the 6 ingredients listed, 2 were actually in it when it arrived - with no explanation why until we asked. The American snack bar was okay for the kids, the smoothie bar was average, icecream and dessert bar okay. Sunbeds were plentiful and the pools were nice although freezing cold. (We travelled end of October) also alot of tiles are missing and the edges only the pool have a build up on them that is really sharp, the kids kept coming out with scratches on them and we bought lilos that popped within a day. The live music every evening was always really good. The real downside was the bar staff at the middle pool bar - it's a lovely location with great views and comfortable seating, let down by the staff who are MISERABLE - I felt uncomfortable ordering drinks especiallh if I dared to order a cocktail (which wasn't often) he would roll his eyes, huff and puff and just didn't want to serve. I wouldn't recommend travelling to this hotel in October as I feel you don't get the same level of service/ quality experience- things running out frequently and not all but some of the staff just being completely fed up from working all summer. If this is going to be the case I feel the prices should reflect this which they don't. We are used to going to Greece and getting the best service / fussing over the children/ chatting and getting to know them, however we didn't get this really here. Other than with the lady server in the Greek restaurant. Also the lady serving every evening at the lobby bar downstairs was also lovely. Overall I wouldn't return to this hotel as I have done with other mitsis hotels.
