Family of 3, came here middle of October, great weather for this time of year, pools bit cold but enjoyed swimming in a sea, clear ,warm water, lots of small fishes in, so beautiful and enjoyable ,lots of sunbeds to choose, 20 min free kayaks or water bike included in all inc hotel. Food was good lots of too choose from, bonus for Chinese cousin, sushi bar and fresh omelettes made by very friendly lady. Drinks hmm beer and wine on draft, cocktails were a no no, straight from a bottle, other alcoholic drinks made to and order like they should, Thanks to Kostas, bartender around one of rhe pools ,very positive person, always had time to chat for a bit with customers Kids club I think those guys were incredible, working hard from early mornings ,making fun with not just the little ones, my child had great time and didn't want to leave, big shout out to Neus, Kevin and Dani for what they been doing and hard work. Rooms were clean and spacious, towels changed daily, friendly cleaners. Hotel looks spot on, clean with little shop on side, free bus to town running every hour. Greece you haven't let me down, it was a pleasure, love people, cousine and everything about it. So yeah really recommend this hotel …

Had an amazing time at the hotel. We had a room overlooking the private pools, just a minute walk to the beach where the water was crystal clear, enjoyed swimming here with my daughter. The food at the hotel was perfect so only ate out a couple of times. Very short transfer from the airport, we did jump in a taxi so was even quicker. The pools are lovely at the hotel and rooms were spotless, tea and coffee facilities in the room would be a great add on. Evening entertainment is mainly geared toward small children. Views to die for, all in all a lovely time away.

Booked this hotel 4 days before leaving! Read lots of reviews and there’s always negative as well as positive, we paid the extra £3 per person and upgraded to adults only ( excellent decision!) as it has its own restaurant and bar and evening entertainment. Saying that there was nothing wrong with the main restaurant and bars, as it was the end of the season we could eat in the main restaurant without having to book which was good if you want to eat the Asian delights! Our room was clean and tidy and serviced each day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and would go out of the way to make sure your holiday is perfect. There was plenty of choice of food and it was always hot. The beach is definitely stoney and beach shoes are advisable, apparently most of the beaches in Kos are stoney. Would we return? if we got a great deal probably though we would prefer a sandy beach.…

On arrival (which was late) to the room I was very disappointed given we had paid for a superior room. The room was dirty particularly the floor it was dusty and the bathroom was disgusting. Thankfully I travelled with antibacterial wipes and before we unpacked I wiped down everything in the room and bathroom. The toilet seat was dirty and the mould around the bath and plug hole was gross. Watermarks on the door and walls and the grime on the shower hose was also gross. The following day I spoke to reception and mentioned the room and how unclean it was but nothing happened. I travelled with my mum and my 22 month old little boy and it caused me distress everyone he went near the dirty bathroom. The bath was also badly marked and I never felt clean after using the bathroom with all the grime. The dinning room was chaotic and I found the staff in there rude. Whilst I appreciate it was nearing the end of season the staff were unhelpful. Every day when finding a table we would have to go and ask for cutlery and this seemed to annoy the staff. The food choice was good and we found something every day. The lady who cooked the omelettes/pancakes was very lovely. They often ran out of wine glasses so often had wine in a tumbler. The food trolleys they used to bring out/move food on from the kitchens were filthy. Given this was an all inclusive plus, I asked the rep what this meant and she told me 24 hour all inclusive which included international branded drinks. The only branded drinks I saw was Bailey’s and Martini. The wine is weak and the the measures for the spirits are wrong. Cocktails are premixed and majority gross but some were ok. The entertainment team worked hard and are a credit to the hotel. My little boy loved the mini disco. The shuttle bus which is free that takes you to the local town is good. I also paid €30 for a late checkout which I have been charged twice for and I have messaged them 5 times and they are denying they’ve taken the money twice despite me sending them a copy of my bank statement. We had to move rooms for this and the bathroom was slightly better but the shower hose was still not clean I. The other room. I paid £565 for the week and very glad it was no more than this. …

Wow wow wow!! I mean, we were expecting a fab holiday but we were blown away by Akti beach, on arrival we were told we had been given a free upgrade, from a double room to a maisonette... two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two wordrobes, lovely and fresh, modern, hair dryer, mini fridge, fresh towels daily, everything you could think of, air con and safe in with the room. The room was in the adult only area which had its own restaurant, bar, evening entertainment every night. But you could go into any area, And even though the season was coming to an end, and it was getting quite quiet, the hotel itself kept running second to none right up until we left (the hotel was closing the following day for end of season) the staff were lovely and friendly and so many pools to choose from. We loved the beach which literally is on your doorstep, although it is very pebbly and a little slippy, sand bags have been placed to help you get into the sea and there are lots of fish swimming around you. The hotel bus which took you into Kardamina, free of charge ran throughout the day and the village itself was typically greek and so beautiful lined with lots of bars and restaurants. We went all inclusive plus and we barely spent a thing.. proper branded drinks and food available, 24/7. Shop onsite, Thankyou Akti Beach for being amazing. We would definately recommend to anyone, there is plenty for any age or group... Enjoy your well earnt rest. Roll on next season.... xx…

We had a lovely week here . Unless you nit pick nothing negative to say. We celebrated our Anniversary the hotel sent wine and fruit to our room a lovely gesture. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Free shuttle bus ran like clockwork. The positives way out weigh the negatives and am very happy to recommend a stay here.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, the room was just what we needed and plenty of activities and facilities for all to enjoy. The food was ok, though we would liked to have seen maybe ‘themed’ food nights. All the pools were superb and very clean. In fact the whole resort was cleaned to a very high standard. So much to do and wonderful surroundings. The theatre could have done with maybe more tables but ‘inside’ the arena, so we could be more social with other families, but the entertainment team themselves were absolutely amazing! Brilliant at entertaining all ages, full of energy and so lovely!!! Thank you Neus, Kevin & Danny!

Definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Staff are great. (Shout out for Danny who was a brilliant entertainer) and to the customer service host. Hotel less so. Rooms are basic and small. Bathrooms just not functional. No where to hang your towels. Stork shower and hand wash facilities (the cheap type of hand wash you get in service station loos) and the shower dispenser didn’t work, so constantly having to step out of the shower to the sink to get soap. The area smells of sewers so badly. It’s everywhere. In the room, by the restaurants, by the pool, by the entertainment. The hotel describes itself as 5 star on its welcome mat, and the tour company describes it as 4 star but it’s barely a 3 star. Again, nice staff who are doing their best but the hotel should be reclassified as a 3 star. Anything more than that is misleading.…

Absolutely fantastic holiday from start to finish. Arrived 1st day and recieved an upgrade so me and my family was next to each other. All the staff was lovely, and also so nice with the kids. Rooms was lovely, nice and spacious, always kept clean. Cleaners again was always happy to see you. Plenty pools, all brilliant, we preferred the animation one as was brilliant for the kids, The entertainment staff Neus, Danny and Kevin, can not fault any of them, they was amazing. Fantastic with the kids. Fantastic at there jobs, kids loved the mini club. They girls was genuinely upset that we was going home and leabing the guys behind, but all 3 staff made sure to say good bye even danny who was working at the Palace on our last night. Pool bar food was spot on. Brilliant for the kids, again staff behind was great, even helped my daughter, George the pool bar man, such a lovely guy. Food in the main restaurant, was delish never a night we didn't enjoy lots to choose from. Same at breakfast. Fab that the shuttle bus into kos was free with various times. I travelled with my family 3 rooms in total even had our own pool . But we loved it around the family pool .From are arrival until we left we loved it the staff are so friendly, the entertainment team was fantastic my grandson's loved the football each day .Everywhere was so clean ,the food each time we went was hot and fresh plenty to choose from ...the beach is not for family's as very large stone's but the free bus into Kardamena was so easy to use.The beach is great for sitting on a sunbed looking, listening to the sea. I would recommend this hotel. 5 stars from us
