On the plus side, the hotel is in a nice quiet location, close to the beach and supermarket with the bus stop right outside for a trip to the historic and beautiful city 25 mins away. The grounds were superbly maintained and with great looking pools and well laid out seating areas. It was easy to get food and drinks when you want them The staff at the bars, restaurant and reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was generic, although a little sparse. The entertainment during the day looked good (although I never joined in) and the evening show was OK.
On the minus side, the food was dreadful. The salad was OK as was the deserts, but the hot food was tepid at best and near cold at worst. This must be a health risk in a hot climate, not withstanding it was a dreadful experience. Hotel management must address this or it will losing return clients. It addition, when serving trays were empty, they stayed as such for a long time before being replenished. We could put up with other the other niggles mentioned next, but this will definitely stop us from returning here.
The other main gripe was that the room cleaner didn't really bother to clean the room. glasses were left dirty, worktops still had marks on them and the floors had not been touched. Be aware that this hotel does not provide their guests with any handwashing soap (neither bar or liquid soap container) for your room sink. we had to go out to the local supermarket to buy some. Bearing in mind we are all told to wash our hands post Covid (not least its unhygienic not to), this is really bad and even the cheapest hotels provide at least a small bar.
The only other issue related to the music around the pools. It is piped in at about 10.00 and goes off between 6.30 and 7.45. The volume was so loud it intruded on relaxation, although after complaining it was turned down on the last two days. I am all for compromise - either have the music on all the time around the main pool and leave the other pool as a quiet area, or have the mornings quiet and music all afternoon.
In summary, we would return here and accept some of its failings, but not the food, after all its an important element of your holiday and you are paying for it!

Dear guest, First of all thank you for sharing this review. All your comments help us to improve our services. We note the less good ones you adress, like the temperature of the food in the buffet or the loud music on the terraces, in the way to achieve a better satisfaction. We are we still cannot put any extra amenities in the rooms because of the Covid, but if you ask for them in Reception you would get them. Also thank you nice words about our staff. Best wishes. Currently staying in this hotel, into day 4. Firstly overall impressions are impeccably clean, bright, airy and well maintained.

The rooms are big enough and we paid for a sea view which didn't disappoint. After reading the reviews about the beds i was cautious regarding their comfort. My bed was very comfortable however my daughters less so with springs being felt when lay down. This was remedied by using the spare duvets in wardrobe under bottom sheet. Since then she has had great sleep. The bathrooms all have low level bath with overhead shower which isn't great for the less mobile and perhaps a hand rail higher up would be a better safety feature to avoid slipping.

I was disappointed that the 2 small bottles of water were not ever replenished from arrival as not everyone wants to spend their time around the pool.

Food I do agree with previous reviews. Very repetitive so if staying 2 weeks it could get pretty boring. However everything I did try was tasty and looked cosmetically pleasing with such interesting dessert choices.

The waiters and waitresses work hard to remove empty plates within minutes which does help with the flies which can't be helped...its a hot country.

The soft drinks are quite watered down with exception to the Pepsi which tastes nicer than at home. Beer, wine and Sangria available on tap.

Around the pool area thier are plenty of sunbeds as long as you don't mind walking 20 feet..I'm not sure why people get up early to put towels on beds as there are enough for everyone.

The evening entertainment isn't the best. The Sat night singer duo would do better sticking to songs that people want to dance too as this can enhance enjoyment. In the 1 hour long set there were 4 songs people loved and got up to dance, the rest was just boring. Look at the audience and tailor to suit!

Sunday nights magic show was atrocious! Honestly it was really boring, lots of wasting time and many tricks you couldn't see due to distance from stage. Everyone was saying how poor it was.

The beach is a small cove and yes there is a sulphur smell at times but I have just accepted this smell everything I visit Spain. It certainly didn't spoil my fun. The beach was busy but there were always sunbeds available - albeit pricey. The walk from hotel is just over 1 minute. The sea is absolutely beautiful.

Overall this is a lovely comfortable hotel, certainly not 4 star and i
I say this after staying in 4 star hotels across Europe with work but it is somewhere I would return too.

A lovely relaxing stay, helpful staff, great location.

Had a 10 day stay in this hotel, was cautious following some of the reviews. However we did enjoy our 10 day rest.
The room was clean and comfortable with the facilities required for our stay. I agree the paper cups should be replaced daily but we just bought two mugs to use daily. Sometime the milk wasn't replaced when empty, but managed to get from the cleaners. The towels were replaced daily only one day they forgot to give us any but quick response from Reception and housekeeper so no real issue. I agree the evening entertainment was great, but having english channels on the TV helped ;). Not being big drinkers but do like the odd cocktail but those on the all inclusive menu (4 only) were of a poor quality and not nice, so didnt bother after my first try.
The Dining room was ruined by far too many flies, there must be a way to control them or at least put covers on the food. The choice of food only OK some nights we went out to some local restaurants just to have hot food, as many times the food was either luke warm or cold. The plates would either be cold or too hot to handle, so be careful.
The pool area seemed fine, we tended to stay in the area away from the actual pool and no need to reserve beds as there was plenty and didnt feel over crowded.
The staff were all welcoming and made us feel looked after, especial call out to Reception and Pool Bar where we had most interaction and thank you for printing out our travel home documents, it helped with the checkin process at the airport :)
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and with the minor adjustments it could easily make this a strong 4. It was relaxing and quiet but just what we needed given the Covid years we have all had. Thank you to all.

As a first overseas holiday since 2019, the Mediterrani delivered a great two week break.
The hotel is clean, spacious and well run making for a relaxing stay. The grounds and three pools are well tended and in late September there were plenty of sunbeds available and a choice of location to relax or join in the basic entertainment.
Just outside the rear gate is the bus stop where for 1.70 Euro you can visit other nearby beaches or the former capital Cuitadella. Here you find many bars, shops and occasional markets. Buses from the town can take you to remote beaches or further afield.
Food is good with wide variety at each meal - don't believe other reviews that suggest it's limited. Occasionally some dishes could have been hotter, but overall it was great. Drinks are not the strongest, but were fine. Snacks, including burgers etc were available near the pool bar and useful if you had missed lunch.
Staff were excellent without exception. They work hard and always smile and speak to you. The WiFi is good across the whole site, but can't comment on the TV, it stayed off.
This is a great 3.5/4* hotel that offers good value in a good location. Would visit again.

Hubby and I only booked this holiday the week before. It was less than an hour from the airport. The hotel has recently been a little modified which is nice but they really need to get rid of the horrible worn white leather couches in the lobby. Not a good first impression. Our room was clean, spacious and we had a fantastic view of Majorca in the distance. House keeping were prompt and quick every day. All local alcohol and certain cocktails were included, I recommend the Pina Coladas! Food was really nice with a selection of fresh vegetables and salad and a meat of the day. I would recommend only a week though as they rotate the food and it could get a bit samey! Pool was great, clean and very deep but the time of year we went, it was a little chilly. Perks you up after a few sangrias!
The staff were very friendly and were very quick to remove empty plates and glasses. Nothing was left out.
Tui rate this hotel as a 4* but to be honest I'd rate it 5* simply because I had complained about how hard the bed was and they ordered us brand new mattresses! I have never had that level of customer service before. Absolutely brilliant. Menorca is a quiet Island, ideal for those who wish to just relax by the pool, eat, swim and sleep. There is a bus stop just outside the grounds which can take you in to the capital Cuitadella, for the day for as little as 1.70 euros.
Overall, we had a lovely time, just what we needed. Thank you Hotel Mediterrani.

We have had a relaxing week's stay, the room was clean, as was the hotel, but the mini was empty and stayed empty, we were left 2 bottles of water on arrival and no more.
Rooms were cleaned daily and outside was jet washed daily.
Food was ok, plenty of choice for breakfast and lunch but evening meal we seemed to struggle, lack of choice for vegetarians, but saying that I always managed to find something and we did eat out several times.
Entertainment was repetitive and the kids disco was excellent and the animation team interacted fantastically with the children. Daily activities in the pool-again by the animation team, who worked hard and were very entertaining and got most people involved.
You are in walking distance to the beach, where there are several restaurants and also in walking distance to Cala Blanca, again lots of nice restaurants and you can watch the sun set.
Bus stop outside the hotel.
On the downside- bars shut early, it's difficult to get your room kept on if your arrival is late, we managed to after being told no, by asking what time the next arrivals were and then they said we could have it til 2pm, other guests also were refused!
Extra charges included the safe at €32 (a week) and €10 deposit, €10 deposit for a beach towel and if you wanted it cleaning they charged an extra €1, which I have never come across in an all inclusive before.
Overall a relaxing stay.

Returned yesterday (23/5) after a week at this hotel.
First the negative, We had booked a junior suite and were allocated suite 522, The suite was up four sets of stairs. The living room , bedroom and balcony were fine, i must say though that i am not a fan of glass doors in the bathroom and also no lock. The disappointing thing though was the lack of a view. From the balcony we had a view of the side of a hairdressers and supermarket and out the bedroom some bushes. Also outside the window were the air condition units which made an irritating noise when switched on, After that moan I would like to thank the maid who kept the whole place spotless, floors mopped every day, bed made and towels replaced. Really good job
Now the positives. The pool areas large with loads of sunloungers so no need for the pathetic little people to creep out at 0630 to get one. Apart from the pool there are other terraces with sun loungers.
The bars were really well run, if you had to wait for more than 30seconds something was wrong. The staff at the pool bar during the day were great, always smiling and sharing a joke while serving you. Credit to the hotel.
The food, We were a bit concerned after reading some Trip Advisor reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The dishes served up were better than a lot of hotels that I have stayed at and there was a wide choice. Breakfast was a fry up/ cereals/fresh bread/fruit/pastries/ham and cheese. Fruit juice/tea and coffee available, What more do people want, As for someone complaining about only salad and pizza at lunch, it was the third day that I actually saw the pizza,
The daily animation was quite low key but what I saw the guests taking part were enjoying themselves. there was no pressure to join in. The only evening show we saw was a duo of guitar and keyboard, Think they were call Rick and Gez. really good music and very entertaining
All in all a well run and very clean hotel. I would return but not to room 522

We received the package as quite cheap so didn’t have much expectations for the hotel. The hotel itself is brilliant, cleaners don’t clean your room each day, just make your beds and change towels which is fine but could do with a brush etc. The towels for the pool you are best bringing one otherwise they ask for €10 deposit and €1 to bring it back and be washed or you can just buy a towel for €10 and wash it yourself. Staff are not the friendliest apart from 2 individuals who’s names I cannot remember but the gentleman is a breath of fresh air there (normally works on the bar of an evening collecting glasses or the bar at the pool). You have to get your towel on a sun bed at the crack of dawn otherwise you can expect to come down to no beds by the pool! Food was ok… we preferred the food at lunch rather than at night. Great location! A bar and restaurant to the left of the back entrance to the hotel (if you walk through a slight park to the beach they are there) you HAVE to try the mojitos and burgers! We visited the Irish bar a few times to watch the match, gets very busy at night, the nachos were to die for! We also visited cuitudella which is a beautiful town, the market was great, we went on Friday and had a gorgeous meal and rose by the harbour!

We are just coming to the end of a super family holiday here at the Mediterrani, this was our holiday from 2020 here at last! We were slightly anxious before we came because of some of the reviews. However, we have had a truly wonderful time nothing to complain about whatsoever. The catering staff work so hard, the animation team are delightful and we ate and drank delicious food and drinks all week. We had super weather, and the hotel is situated just a stones throw from a picture perfect turquoise cove. Our room was cool, clean and quiet and whilst minimalist we wanted for nothing. I kind of understand the allocation of room water bottles being limited we are meant to be cutting down on plastics and there is water available in cups all day and night. And a small charge to change pool towels encourages reduced daily cleaning surely and more responsible use? All in all I loved it and would come back here or to another Globales on this beautiful isla anytime! Thank you.

The hotel has a lovely location and we were lucky enough to get a room with a sea view, although I would add that the sea view rooms also overlook the pool/bar area and although it wasn’t a problem to us I can imagine anyone with small children or particularly light sleepers would be better off on the other side of the hotel, it got fairly noisy at night with the entertainment etc and the hotel was quiet while we were there, but in the height of the season……

The food was pretty much standard all inclusive fayre, but there was lovely fresh fruit and desserts were really good, but just how many things can one chef do with cream caramel? We ate out at Jenny’s bar just down the road a few times and they do lovely 3 course menus for €12.50 and €18 which included things like scallops, garlic prawns and T bone steak, dessert and wine, well worth it for a change of scene.

The staff were pleasant and worked hard and the drinks were fine, they served Smirnoff vodka in all the bars.

The pool was cold but refreshing.

A good week away where we just wanted to recharge our batteries and it did the job, it’s basically the same as thousands of other hotels in Spain, not excellent, just good value for money! It was closing for the winter the day after we left so it was quite quiet and maybe would have been a much different experience mid season.
