Amazing 7 night holiday!! we stayed in block 6 at the back, the room was immaculate, modern, , the most comfortable bed and a sofa bed, 65' TV, fridge, kettle with tea/coffee etc, the bathroom was very modern and had complimentary dental kit, shaving kit and beauty pack, very high quality hand soap/shampoo, rooms were cleaned daily to very high standard, only negative was Wi-Fi cut out as soon as entered the room, it worked everywhere else in the resort. We went half board which suited us, every possible breakfast taste was catered for and was very impressive! Evening dinner was equally impressive but only the meat changed daily. Free coffee ,soft drinks round the pool from 10am (didn't realise until half way through the week) The activity team were 100% awesome!! always friendly, funny and continuously trying to please, special mention to JAVI, RICHIE, NIKO, DANIELLA, IRIS, LUIS, ALEX, GUILIO, CRISTINA AND CLAUDIA!!! Thanks for a great stay, we are rebooking for March as we enjoyed it so much

Wonderful hotel, with fantastic staff who attend to your every need. The entertainment/ animation team are great ; entertaining you throughout the day and late into the evening Look out for the Canarian Wine & Cheese tasting outside the pool bar with Richie, Anais & Luis on a Thursday afternoon: entertaining and fun, with plenty of different wines and cheese to taste 😀. Plenty of bars and restaurants spread around the site, and access to others across the road (we were all inclusive, and most places are included , but not Champs sports bar ; so worth remembering that you need your wallet if you wander in there!). All round, a fantastic place so stay. 👌👍.

Had an unusual 7 night stay with friends. The staff are just as unhelpful as the signs, Hardly anybody working there knows what’s happening around the resort itself. There’s no signs with information other than interactive screens which seemingly never get updated, also not realistic for everybody visiting as there are many elder visitors as well as children who I personally watched struggle with these interactions (offered assistance where I could as nobody else did). No evening entertainment as far as “entertaining” goes, the majority of people who were out in the evenings seemed to be English speaking and none of the entertainment was catered towards anybody other than people who spoke Spanish. Staff also seemed to be blindsided and not pay attention to what’s going on around them as our group noticed multiple people taking advantage of the wristband system, swapping and trading their wrist bands throughout the day to access different parts of the resort. Food was decent in the buffets however the poolside bars offer “food” which we found completely inedible. Burgers which had barley been cooked which literally melted and fell apart in our hands, complete mush, we overheard others complaining and compare the burgers too that of cat food and we couldn’t agree more. As far as activities in the resort go, we had no information and we’re not provided any kind or activity timetables, with the resort being aimed at those who are active and enjoy a “work out” we thought there would be some kind of notice as too when things would be happening. Overall the visit was unsatisfactory, mutually agreed that none of ourselves would revisit. The resort is far too big with very little staff, the only good thing I feel I can comment on would be the house keeping were extremely polite and always helpful.

Ignore the bad reviews! I stayed at this hotel in November 2023 and it was fantastic! We booked a seaview room and it was so clean and spacious. Upon arrival, the staff could not be more welcoming and explained all the different areas of the hotel as there are two parts of the hotel but you can use both facilities which we loved. The food was brilliant, they had so much option and tasted amazing. My friend who I travelled with had an allergy and above each selection of food had an allergy card which we found amazing and had never had this before so it was ideal. The pools were clean and entertainment was daily. They have an onsite mini golf which we loved too. We loved the Sushi A La Carte restaurant that was onsite, excellent food! The location was fine for us, its either a 20 minute walk into Costa Teguise town along with a lush beach which is along a cute coastal path or a few minutes taxi drive there which cost around 3 euros. There was also a supermarket onsite which was nice to have to grab essentials like sun cream, drinks, souvenirs etc... The staff around the hotel was all so helpful, smiley and couldn't do enough for you! All in all, the hotel was everything we hoped it would be and more! Thank you Barcelo for a fab holiday! :)

Very disappointed. There was 7 of us to celebrate a 70th birthday. We booked 2 double rooms and 1 Suite for three people. Everything was confirmed. On arrival was told that our party would have to be split because of lack of rooms. Was told that half our party would have to go to their sister hotel opposite. We found that this put a damper on our holiday taking into account that this was not agreed on our initial booking. Hotel was ok, food very good.

Wow! This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff are lovely, food is good, facilities good and only 20 mins from airport and a 30 min walk /5 mins in taxi from the town. On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of champagne. We stayed in the main building. We had a standard room which included a beauty kit (have never had that before) which included razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup pads etc. his and hers sinks, massive bed, a lovely view of the pool and the sea. rooms were perfectly clean and freshened up everyday. I work in a hotel back home and really appreciated all the little things that this hotel offered. The entertainment throughout the day was excellent however the evening entertainment could be better. We have already spoken about returning on one of our anniversary’s in the future.

Stayed here for 5 nights all inclusive with my partner. Had an amazing time and would definitely return. The food was 10/10 and I’m so fussy! Such a variety of food at both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only thing is the deserts could be better in my opinion but still a lot of choices. Reminded me of an Iceland desert buffet. The rooms were really clean and modern. I stayed in room 4210 and when I come back I will just make sure I ask not to be in that room. It was next to the lift which was really annoying and loud and also above the Olympic pool and gym which was really loud from 7am. Music blasting from the gym and people shouting at the pool for classes etc. When we first got to the room we noticed the bed was broken, I rang reception and they came up straight away and when they couldn’t fix the bed they changed the bed within 20 minutes. Very good service and quick. The pool areas are really clean and I loved the entertainment around the pool throughout the day. The only thing we would say is there are a lot of flies round all the pools when you’re trying to sunbathe and it’s really annoying. You have to pay £20 deposit for towels and you can change them 4 times throughout which was fine for us. On the last day we got our £20 euros back each. There is loads of drinks to choose from and we watched the entertainment at night and loved it. It’s definitely not a place you can party all night but if you like going to bed around 11ish it was perfect for us. 4 euro in a taxi to the centre of Costa teguise or 40 minute walk or 5 minutes on the bus. I would definitely stay again. In March this year I stayed at the adults only Barcelo and it was a lot more money. I get why it’s at a higher standard but for the price this is a steal. I can’t see why people are writing any bad reviews in my opinion. If the hotel knew people weren’t happy they fixed it there and then. In my experience anyway.

Had a really great family stay recently. latter half of mid term break in ireland wednesday to monday. All inclusive - 2 adults, teen and tween! €1200 for 5 nights - main hotel arrived early and had booked and paid €25 for early check in, unfortunately room was not ready immediately but we were able to check in about an hour after arrival which we loved, we were offered drinks etc upon arrival which was a lovely touch. Once we were given our room number we went to our room in main part of hotel, this did take a few minutes and was personally a little challenging as our daughter had a crutch, but we got there and were delighted with our room once we were inside. We were down by the pool by 12 pm and got 2 beds between the 4 of us (which was fine as girls went in the pool) had a few lovely hours by the pool and then went back to the room to get ready for an early dinner. pool atmosphere was very good, help yourself to soft drinks, water, coffee, beer. bar staff on hand for other drinks and bar snacks, which were fine and filled a gap when staying by the pool. Buffet food was good, one girl found a pasta she liked and ate that every day with lots of icecream, but she was happy with that. Other daughter tried everything, from sushi, to paella, mussels and everything else you could possibly see. Girls also loved the chocolate fountain. Both my husband and i found something we liked every evening, its classic buffet fair, lots of choice and different themes. pizza and chips etc also available every evening. Lunch is basically mini dinner and not so mini at that! Breakfast lovely, lots of choice as expected, defiantly an English breakfast available with all continental options. pancakes were very popular and ran out but were repopulated fairly quickly - lots and lots of choice again All inclusive drinks in room were similar help yourself soft drinks, wine and beer water pool entertainment was as expected team worked hard, daughter joined one or two classes - she had a great time due to the crutch we didn't venture to other side of hotel much but we were delighted with main side. Easy to get beds every day, temperatures were pleasant 21-25 degrees, loved our room 525, amazingly quite, lovely view of distant sea which was delightful and unexpected junior suite, double room for us and sofa bed for girls. nice balcony with double chairs and foot rests. no complaints, toiletries supplied, and serviced every day pool towels available with a deposit and little card, get these when you check in to save coming back to royal side. safe needs a little key which reception will give you. We loved it and are thinking of going back again shortly (if going back with hubby will probably go Half Board) but had great comfort with AI for tween and teen! also booked late checkout and that was great, room locked us out at 12 (usual checkout time) so when we we came back we were in a little bother, but housekeeping assisted and we were in and able to shower and have lunch before we checked out did not use kids club, but could see the team worked hard. LOVED our trip and would recommend

This hotel could be made really good. Sadly I wouldn’t come back and do not recommend it for families. On arrival with three young children to be told your the other side of the road (hotel over the road) and off you go. It took us ages to find our room and had to ask a member of staff. Very poor, especially with three tired kids. Service was slow at the bar, cocktails were crap. We paid extra for decent ones in the sports bar, saying that our last night the staff could not make an expresso martini it was not good. Food at the buffet was ok, after five days I was glad to be leaving. My children struggled to eat here not enough for them variety wise. Kids club was quiet and the staff tried their best, my kids loved Nikolas he was fab! The evening entertainment was poor, mini disco ok, but overall come on, people on holiday give them a nice time. If you have booked this hotel just go bed & breakfast and escape to town. Less than five minutes away and food and drinks are cheap and really good. Rooms were large and clean. One amazing thing the key to the room is on your wrist band so that was a really good idea. Only thing I was impressed with.

Dear Catherine, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at our hotel. On the one hand, we're delighted to hear that the room key wristband feature was a highlight of your stay and that you found the rooms to be spacious and well-maintained. It's also wonderful to know that Nikolas made a positive impression on your children at the kids' club. We truly appreciate your kind words about these aspects of our resort. On the other hand, we regret to hear about the challenges you faced upon arrival and the difficulty in locating your room. We strive to provide clear guidance and assistance to our guests, especially when traveling with young ones, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Regarding your dining experience, we understand that a diverse and enjoyable food selection is important, especially for our younger guests, and we're sorry to hear that your family's dining experience did not meet your expectations. Moreover, we take pride in our entertainment offerings and are disappointed to learn that they did not enhance your stay. We are also sorry that the solutions provided during the stay were not satisfactory. Rest assured, we are continually working to improve our services and guest experience. To sum up, let us tell you that we hope that you were able to create some wonderful memories during your time in Costa Teguise and that the convenience of our location provided you with the opportunity to explore and enjoy the local area. We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back for a more memorable stay. Kind regards, Guest Experience Manager
