Firstly I cannot overstate the fact that this is not a hotel for people in their 20s or 30s. I can imagine even people in their 40s may feel out of place here. Maybe people who are familiar with Thomson Gold holidays would be aware of this, but as we weren't, this wasn't made anywhere clear enough to us. Adults... More

Read a few reviews of this hotel and have to say they were all favourable and after spending 10 days here would totally agree. Starting with check in we were greeted with complimentary drinks and all the info necessary to make us feel at home. The staff at this hotel are second to none ,management gave us a welcome drinks... Our 3rd visit, this time with friends. Our main comment is the state of the entertainments pavilion. The roofing is full of mildew, surely a health risk and also there is a musty smell in there. The seating could also be more comfortable both there and in the Monkey Bar. The rooms have been freshened up since our last visit. The food... More

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in November. The hotel is well appointed and the rooms are very large and comfortable. The restaurant staff are very friendly and there is much hugging and kissing from them on arrival in the restaurant. The food is served piping hot and was quite good although there wasn’t as much choice as... More

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed our stay on all inclusive. Our room had a side sea view and was excellent for space. The Staff were very friendly and looked as though they actually enjoyed their work. The entertainment was abit mediocre for a Gold Hotel but actually enjoyed the Comedian/Singer on one night. The Pavillion (Tent) can... More

Very clean, staff amazing, entertainment could be better, apart from resident duo Cryptic Blue who were amazing. Thomson need to get their act together when providing evening entertainment though as some acts weren't fit for purpose.

We have just returned from our fifth holiday at the Coronas Playa. I have just read some of the recent reviews and some I agree with and some not. The hotel and grounds are kept spotlessly clean and so was our suite. For the last four years we have stayed in one of the sea view suites, they are a... More

currently 6 nights in to our 10 night stay our room 503 a little bit disappointing as it is tucked out of the way at the end of the building above the monkey bar which can be noisy at night food and service excellent entertainment a bit hit or miss but not high on my priorities overall a good performing... Just returned from yet again fabulous holiday at the Coronas. I have lost count how many times we have stayed there and we have been disappointed with any visit we have had. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the airport and from the moment you arrive you feel relaxed. All the staff are very, very friendly and really make... More

Just returned from another visit to this hotel. Staff as welcoming and friendly as ever. Food still good, although plates much too hot on occasions. Entertainment not quite as good as before, the Elvis tribute was atrocious and the Motown act was not much better, but other evenings were very good. The entertainment team of Paul, Craig and Tash all... More
