A great destination for family style holidays, Celeste Apartments are heaven sent in relation to their location in the lovely resort of Costa Teguise. A mere shell's throw away at just 100m from Las Cucharas beach, you can be paddling and dipping your toes in the ocean as soon as you unpack! Constructed in the fashion of a typical Canarian village, Celeste comprises three separate blocks of self catering apartments. Delightfully traditional and laid out with 3 separate pools (one for each block), there are ample sun terraces too. The Central block, the block 2, is where customers can find the reception, and it is recently completely renovated in a modern, fresh and very stylish style. One and two bedroom apartments (with capacity for up to 3 and 5 persons, respectively) are comfortable and well maintained. Each has separate twin bedroom(s), living / dining area with extra bed for 3rd or 5th person, equipped kitchenette (cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc.), phone, 32" flatscreen TV with satellite channels, full bathroom and balcony or terrace. Further facilities includes: - Reception area (open office hours and safety deposit facility is available) - WiFi available in public areas and bar. - Very centrally situated (near "Las Maretas" mall and "Pueblo Marinero") - Laundry facility - Bar - Sunbeds free of charge

We stayed here for week with a Tui package holiday I had read reviews of the appts and had therefore emailed due to our later arrival. Just like in the reply email, the keys for our appt were in a lock box outside reception. We found our way to block 2 (appt 217 on the ground floor, right outside was the pool area)
These as promised had been refurbished and were pleasant to the eye. Crisp whitewash, cleaned regularly and all you would need for a self catering holiday (toaster, kettle, microwave, all crockery, cutlery, pots pans, washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel) complimentary bottle of still water (although wasn't in the fridge).
We had a 2 bed appt, 2 single beds in each bedroom and the sofa was made into a bed in the living room. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning but having previously known this I'd packed a small fan and then got another larger one from reception at no extra cost. In-room safe box available at €2 50 per day, just ask at reception (open 9am-7pm)
The cleaning ladies were very friendly and helpful, leaving us towels or toilet paper when we needed them. We were blessed with good neighbours (in the immediate area) who on the whole respected the other guests and the rules of the appt. Some disrespectful guests decided to use the pool at 4am! (Open hours 10am-8pm) creating loads of noise in the middle of the night and generally just being ignorant of anyone around them. I suppose we can only be responsible for our own actions and not that of others.
The location is spot on. There is a spar and a "superdino" supermarket less than 5 min walk, spar to the left dino to the right. There are a host of restaurants in the immediate area, El Cochjno Cojo and Pablo were our favourites. Max 10 min walk to beach.
Rooms themselves were just what we needed. Good storage for suitcases/clothes/shoes.
Pull out clothes drier on the terrace area (bring a couple of pegs for smaller items)
Also if you plan to use the utensils and crockery bring a dishcloth if you're fussy like me 😆 for handyness in wiping down benches/table.
Bathroom was basic, maybe could do with an extra shelf for storage (but then with 5 people, there's more stuff to store)
There was a TV and phone in the living area but we never used either. Plenty sockets for charging.
All in all a great place to stay and if going back to Costa Teguise we would definitely consider returning to Celeste. The location is perfect and it felt like a home from home. Would probably request appt 217 as well since it was literally step off your patio and into the sunbed/pool area meaning we never had to lock up whilst staying round the pool. (Ps loungers were never an issue in the time we were there. We put towels on at least 3 for our family of 5 but there seemed to be one or two always free, fewer parasols around though)

Room Tip: Ask for block 2, appt 217 if you wish to be right at the poolside.

Been coming to CT for 10 years usually stay at Sands Beach and book directly with an owner. Year on year we have found it more and more difficult to get in. We were aware of the Celeste due to its location but never stayed until now. I must say we were really impressed by everything it has to offer. Most people would agree that it is a little dated and basic but you need to ask yourself... What is you are looking for? If you want a good value apartment in a great location that is going to be used as a base and somewhere to lie down at night then the Celeste is for you. Several cracking bars on your doorstep all serving good grub at great prices. A short stroll away you have more local cuisine or anything else you fancy.... Chinese, Indian, Mexican etc

I have been to this hotel a few times. I have stayed in all three of the blocks on the bottom and top floors. Top floor apartments with sea views are the best but all of the apartments have good sized balconies to rest on.

Reception is open until 7pm. If you arrive after this time there is a number to call to access your keys. Reception staff are really lovely and helpful. Extra pillows, maintenance or queries are dealt with quickly.

Block 1 and the adults only Block 3 have not been updated yet so the furniture is the older chunky pine; the terracotta tiles and older wooden windows. You get what you pay for here so if you pay for a superior room you will be put in Block 2 if you don’t then don’t be surprised to see chunky pine furniture.

Block 2 has been updated to a lovely standard. The pool area is lovely and well maintained. The rooms have grey tiled floors and modern shower rooms. The beds are comfortable and the sofa is too. There is a TV, hob, microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer box etc but no hairdryer (you can hire one from reception). The cleaners are in nearly every day to empty bins, top up toilet roll, mop/sweep floors and change towels every few days or bedding every week etc.

As a non-smoker, I did find the one smoker on the ground floor annoying as it filtered up through the open windows forcing the few apartments around him to have to leave windows closed. There is no air conditioning and it was exceptionally hot whilst we were there so closed windows weren’t ideal. Not sure how the hotel could fix this though?

This hotel is in the centre of everything in Teguise. You are next to Pueblo Maniero Square where there are restaurants and bars or you can drop straight onto the beach. Everything is literally on your doorstep yet you still get a good quiet nights sleep.

We stayed in block 1 in a 2 bedroom apartment. First the accommodation, access to the blocks is via gated entrance (you have a key that accesses all 3 blocks so you can use the different pools as you like). Block 2 had the bigger pool (smallish but big enough) and was meant to be heated but was warm enough to swim in, surrounded by a glass fence with 2 access doors for the deeper and shallower ends. We found the pool to be very clean and well maintained. There were enough beds for the people who turned up but in higher season not sure how many can be accommodated.
The apartments in block 1 had a whitewashed rustic village feel, we had a ground floor one with enough outdoor space to sit 3 around a round table. The apartment was a good size, both bedrooms had plenty of cupboard space for storage and the beds were comfortable enough to sleep on (this is of course a subjective opinion). We asked for more pillows and were quickly given them by housekeeping/cleaners but there were no bedside tables. The kitchen was clean and there was plenty of cups, glasses, cutlery etc in the drawers and cupboards. The bathroom was large enough to move around in and the shower worked but not very powerful but enough to do the job, take your own hairdryer. Be aware that if you are using the shower after someone leave it for 15 minutes or so to build up enough hot water.
Housekeeping staff were excellent, cleaned the room 5 days in the week. Towels were changed regularly and bedding once a week. All staff were polite and friendly so a nice hola in the morning.
Very central location, noise heard a few times at night from the square but expected as part of that central location. Beachfront is a few minutes walk away and easily accessed, some bars and eating places a minute or 2 walk away on the road side. Bus stop is across the road and down (don’t forget they drive on the right), handy no 3 for Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen.
All in all a good stay, a nice place and we had fantastic weather. Hope to be back same time next year.

Our apartment was ideally situated near the adult only pool so was really quiet (room 304). The apartment was a little tired but clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Reception and cleaning staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There are numerous choices of shops, bars and restaurants to suit everyones taste within 5 minutes walk. Basic but clean and good value for money.

Stayed at Celeste for two weeks begining of November and what a nice suprise. We had apartmemts 224 and 225 which we found to be brilliant. Really good equipment, very clean and had excellent little touches such as bump stops on doors, over sink lighting and plenty of plugs. Housekeeping came in every day and cleaned and changed towels twice per week and bed linen once per week.
Location is fantastic having bars and a variety of restaurants on your doorstep with just a 5 min walk to beachfront or the main square. All staff were really helpful and friendly so we really cant fault anything at all

Dropped off by transfer bus down the road from apartments, driver explained to us where the hotel was which was a short couple of minutes walk if that. We arrived late at night (9pm) and reception was closed (closed at 7pm) we hadn’t received an email or anything explaining what to do, luckily after looking around apartments a couple helped us by explaining what to do, said the same had happened to them a few nights before, a code should of been send for security boxes which would have keys in, we hadn’t received ours so called number above boxes and one of the men who works there came and gave us our keys to room 104. This wouldn’t be good if you didn’t have signal or a phone. There are 3 blocks and a key is given to get into the block and to get into room, what wasn’t explained is the key for the block accesses all blocks so you can go to all different pools. When we went into our room it was the older, dated rooms which was fine, unfortunately our bedroom window opened onto the main pathway infront of the hotel which meant people could see into room and could be quite noisy, we kept the curtain closed but would blow open if windy, we had read previous reviews about fans from reception but unfortunately one wasn’t available until the last night of our stay which meant the window needed to stay open as it was very hot meaning the bedroom didn’t feel very private. There are bars on the window so did feel safe but people could still see in when passing. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, unfortunately my boyfriend found the bed very uncomfortable and struggled to sleep most nights. Few people had mentioned about the hot water being hit and miss but it was mainly warm showers which was fine, the shower was over a bath which was very small with very slow drainage, bath felt very wobbly like you would break it when turning round but luckily that never happened. The pool for block 1 was small and the area around the pool is mainly apartments built around it, very little space to put sun loungers that are stacked available to use, this being said we never struggled to get a space and the pool was very quiet daily meaning some days we had the pool to ourselves, I can imagine in peak times it may get busier meaning very little space but you can access block 2 with the keys which has a bigger
Pool. When reading about the hotel and the facilities it stated that a hairdryer was available at the hotel, it didn’t state that this was for a cost of €10 for the week and a €5 deposit that you had to get from reception. The location of the hotel was 10/10 short walk to beach, restaurants and shops and I have previously been to the area and again was very happy with food choices nearby etc. Tried to ask for late check out but unfortunately were fully booked but they let us stay in the room for another hour and were able to store our suitcases until later on. The transfer bus collects you from where you were dropped off which in daylight was the bus stop on the main road. Overall our holiday was good but I feel like there was a lot of things that weren’t mentioned in previous reviews that I wish I had known.

Had a great stay at these apartments which are very central in Costa Teguise. We had a refurbished room booked through Jet2 and it was in Block 2. The apartment was just to the back of Motowns and the Black Bull. Motowns had a serving hatch in the pool area where you could order food and drink. There was no trouble with noise from either bar.
We had a one bedroom apartment which had a lovely sunny balcony with a table and chairs and 2 sun loungers. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle, toaster and a hot plate with 2 rings, also adequate dishes etc. The bathroom had a walk in shower.
The room and all areas were always clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Safety deposit boxes are available in thd reception area and only available during reception hours.

We stayed in room 316 so had a walk from the reception to search for the apartment with little guidance! The doors and windows are old, rotten and screech through the night in the wind. The interior is very dated and it wasn’t very reassuring that there was a fitted kitchen but no smoke detectors or fire call points nearby. Due to the poor window frame and door construction, nights got very cold and we were forced to get additional blankets! Cleanliness wasn’t a strong point either as they have it in writing that towels are changed every 2 days and bed sheets are changed every 7, the bath also was a bit grimy. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere as when we went to reception to discuss the squeaking door and the room temperature they explained that 316 was their most sought after apartment! This place needs a major overhaul in both facilities and staff customer service before I could recommend this to anyone.

We stayed in a spacious 2 bed premiere apartment which had been recently refurbished. Very comfortable beds, great shower & large balcony with 2 sun beds. All items in room looked new.
The apartment block is well maintained & beautifully cleaned. Rooms were cleaned at least 10 or 12 times to a very high standard during our 2 weeks with regular change of towels.
Staff were very cheerful & friendly.
The apartments are only a short walk to the square & beach & with 4 supermarkets in walking distance. We will be back.

Yes Block 2 have the better furnished rooms…we stayed in block 1 which were tired & dated and in need of a face-lift but we really enjoyed our stay and the Location is the selling point for The Celeste.
