One of the worst hotels to have stayed in. They have no concerns for Senior Citizens. The people in the hotel are cheats They book you in some suite and try to pass of another room as that suite. I had booked a Thalassa suite and they put me in a normal room as per their own web portal “ The Thalassa suites are available in four different types: balcony or terrace with garden or sea view and seating; terrace with private Jacuzzi; terrace with shared pool; terrace with private pool.” But the room that was given had no such facilities it only had a small terrace facing the sea and was the furthest room which could only be approached by changing 2 lifts walking up 3 ramps and climbing 2 sets of stairs. When I complained through my travel agent they charged him more money and shifted us to a room with a private jaccuzi. The the person who was sent to show the new room was rude and irritated as to why they are asking for change Another very striking USP of the hotel is that they don’t welcome those guests who are tea drinkers or who do not like to drink alcohol. As there were no tea sachets in the room we rang up room service (as we are tea lovers) the response was that you would be charged €4 for 2 sachets of tea. When we asked for water we were squarely told that 1 bottle has been placed for coffee ( Whereas the Nespresso machine refuses to work with just 500ml or 0.5cl of water in container and shows red light) so we emptied the second of the 3 bottles provided in the machine. Leaving us with just 0.5 cl of water for your thirst.(Where as WHO recommends atleast 3 liters of water per day per person) here the hotel policy is just to provide 500 ml or 0.5 cl of water per day per person to the Guests Lesson: TEATOTLERS AND TEA LOVERS ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS HOTEL PLS DO NOT COME TO MYCONIAN AMBASSADOR And I had never in any hotel seen a Suite which has a single room with Bathtub and sink WITHIN the room maybe a new concept of a Suite Even their website is not accurate they have given the same pictures in every room on their website so that they can easily make a fool of you

Response from Myconian Collection, Owner at Myconian Ambassador Relais & Chateaux Hotel
Responded 4 days ago
Dear RajivB, Thank you for choosing Myconian Ambassador Relais & Chateaux and for taking the time to post this review. Although we are saddened to read your review and comments on your stay at our property, three months after your departure from the hotel, we do accept that everyone has the right to express their personal view over how things happened. On that basis, please allow us to respond by laying out our point of view. First of all, you have booked a Thalassa Sea View Suite which is the room you have been initially assigned to and upon your arrival you refused even to see it as in the middle of the way you demanded to go back to the Reception area and see a room closer to the main facilities. At this point, for the better understanding of the future reader, we need to remind you the unique layout of the hotel; it is built on a side of a hill on different levels and different room categories are located in different areas of the hotel. As it is well described and stated in every platform the Thalassa Suite comes in different options and each one comes with a different rate. The original Thalassa Sea View suite which is the one you have originally booked includes a balcony, the Thalassa Suite with Private Jacuzzi and the Thalassa Suite have a private or a shared pool which offer a private terrace, due to the inclusion of the outdoor amenity. To state that you were offered a lower room category than the one you have booked is simply not true. You are kindly reminded that since you were not satisfied with the location of your room, you requested another one closer to the main facilities, so our Team in a kind and respectful manner offered you the only alternative option during your stay, as we were running on high capacity, which was a higher room category of an Azure Sea View Suite with private Jacuzzi. Considering that this was the only available option close to the main facilities, accessible by the elevators. Our colleague showed you the room for you to have a full picture of its unique open-plan nature. We understand that ideally, you would prefer your original room, however because of the unique hotel’s lay out that room is not located close to the main facilities, and due to the limited availability, you chose the closest available option which, being a higher room category including a Jacuzzi, you accepted the upselling, hence the payment from your agents side. As for your other comments, it is our hotel’s policy to provide complimentary coffee facilities daily, not tea. Our tea is available to all of our tea-loving guests upon extra cost which is provided in the room service menu. Please also note that our colleagues always provide extra bottles of water daily when requested. We always treat our guests in a fair and empathetic way, trying to accommodate their personal preferences and provide the type of experience they are seeking when visiting us. We are terribly sorry that you didn't feel that way. We would like to thank you once again for taking the time to write this review and we will be glad to welcome you once again in the future. Kind regards, The Myconian Ambassador Team

Hotel's Favourite
The property was exceptional with all the amenities you would expect. The staff was very engaging and attentive to our needs. The beach is close to the hotel and the hotel provides the towels. We enjoyed our meals at the main dining hall and the breakfast buffet was enjoyable in the mornings.

Felt like a King and Queen, this was the leg of the trip we were pampered and the honeymoon was truly a magical experience. We loved the restaurants that were a short walk away and the food at the hotel was magnificent. The pool was one of my favorite, drinks were on pricey side but well worth it. The tiny ice creams and glasses being wiped down was on a new level of treatment. I recommend this to any honeymoon couple as you are staying in paradise with a perfect view into the Mediterranean sea. Bed and bedroom was always spotless and extremely comfortable the entire stay.

Our experience at Myconian Ambassador was a complete surprise. Totally unexpected, I couldn't even have imagined to have such a great customer experience. Congratulations because you have done what many businesses strive for for years, and they never accomplish it. To transfer the sense of belonging and customer first to your employees. The whole team has the same focus of making the customer happy, it's incredible. That to me, is priceless.  Besides that, the hotel installations are awesome, the food is great, breakfast was delicious, rooms are super comfortable and nicely decorated with a stunning view of the beach and town. I mean, this was completely out of anything I could have imagined when I reserved our stay with you more than a month ago.  We simply loved our whole experience at the Myconian Ambassador. I would love to repeat this experience someday. Thank you very much for such a pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved the Myconian Ambassador Hotel. We arrived early and our room was ready for us. Our room had the most amazing view and our own personal patio and jacuzzi. The weather was absolutely outstanding for the 3 full days we spent there. The pool was lovely and clean and the seating area was outstanding and relaxing. You can look out at the view or face the pool. The staff by the pool was incredible. The food and drinks were amazing. We had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel and the food was superb. The lobster pasta was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast every day was great, too. We went to the spa and had a massage/facial and it was lovely. The gym was also great. Overall we cannot recommend the Myconian Ambassador hotel enough.

We had the pleasure of spending 2 days and nights at the Myconian Ambassador Relais & Chateaux Hotel. We were given a welcome drink while we were checking in. This is a beautiful hotel, extremely clean. We have never been treated so well in any of our travels. You are not handed your key to your room, but rather you are escorted to your room and shown everything in the room. Any questions you have are answered right there. When we arrived our room was not quite ready so we were escorted to the restaurant, where we enjoyed a drink in the beautiful restaurant and pool area. Every person was extremely professional, pleasant and eager to help. We would love to return for a longer visit.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we couldn't fault the service and attentiveness of the staff. From being picked up at the airport in a hotel transfer, our welcome drink on arrival and personal tour of the hotel, to the breakfast service every morning. Plates were swiftly replaced, coffees topped up and even milk is poured in your cereal for you! The pool area is very relaxing and staff are always available to give towels, bring you food/drinks and staff even clean your sunglasses. The pool was a little on the chilly side but still worth the plunge. Our rooms were cleaned twice a day and the evening bar area by the pool felt a luxury. The beach is also a 5 minute walk away, which is great! The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is the fact that not all channels on our TV worked (not worth raising this as we spent more time at the pool) and we found some food and drinks a little overpriced. Think €25 for a cocktail and €30 for a burger. However, there are lots of lovely restaurants nearby which serve local Greek Cuisine and Seafood. There's also a bus stop nearby which will take you to Mykonos town centre - €3 for 2 people! Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant, even if you just chose bed and breakfast as you can also make the most of the delights of local cuisine.

Congratulations Ambassador hotel for an outstanding experience! Considering this was the last week of the season - it felt as fresh as I’m guessing the first week would have been like; energy, enthusiasm and wonderful warm! The team were on it - even the lovely cleaning lady smiled at my poor attempts at Greek 😁. It was a seriously impressive stay. Given it was a Relais & Chateau hotel, it majestically lived up to all the expectations you have for a 5 star hotel. The difference however between one hotel and another, is the people. Bravo, well done and heartfelt thanks therefore to all the boys and girls, men and women and every other identifier on the human spectrum for pulling the rabbit out of the hat. The Ambassador team nailed it beautifully and deserve the praise anyone is kind enough to bestow upon them. Have a great winter’s rest! Peter x

Flawless Oct 2023 • Family Flawless. I am not a well travelled person but been around a while. The vibe is wonderful here. Everything they do, they do exceptionally well. The food is excellent, the service is as mentioned flawless. My family were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Staff whilst attentive were not overpowering. Well mannered and pleasant at all times. I am hugely impressed (would be an understatement) - Blown away really. Would highly recommend and will certainly return. The staff here at the Ambassador are an absolute asset to your wonderful hotel group. Yamas!!

Certainly one of the best holiday / beach hotels we’ve been to anywhere. The hotel is pretty perfect, really, with every amenity one could reasonable want, and within easy distance for the beaches and local town shops. In the hotel if you want any item not on the menu the efficient staff are very happy to try get it for you, or tell you where you can get it. The food here is first class, especially the breakfast which is absolutely superb, with help yourself free flowing champagne. George’s bar is great for a pre or after dinner drink or cocktail. The rooms are very crisp and clean in white and blue, with original Greek paintings and vases. All in all a top class hotel. The pool and sun bed area is lovely, well maintained and serviced with snacks, lunches and drinks throughout the day and early evening.
