Have just returned from our eleventh stay at this excellent hotel having first stayed in 2007.

From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you will be in awe of Hotel Petinos!

The internal "garden area" has been replaced by a modern, stylish pool. Seeing is believing, the pictures do not do it justice especially at night! Facilities are shared with the adjacent Petinos Beach hotel which also offers a swimming pool with stunning sea views.

Our reservation was dealt with by Eleni as always, a real asset to the hotel. This time around we had to change the booking several times due to the Covid situation and resultant flight changes / travel restrictions! Eleni was very understanding and helpful throughout.

The front of house staff are always exceptional. A special shout out to Christina who we have now known many years. A very helpful lady and another great asset to the hotel.

We always stay in the same room which, since recent refurbishment, is now a superior suite. The room has been refurbished to a very high standard, highlights including a walk in shower room and a blue tooth speaker built into the bedroom wall. Not all rooms have been refurbished as yet but we understand others will be completely overhauled during the coming winter months.

Breakfast is taken in the hotel's Blue Myth restaurant which offers stunning sea views. The buffet is high quality and extensive with something to satisfy every taste. Elena makes the best frappe year in year out being supported this time by the ever smiling Carol. An excellent combination! Covid measures were first class with guests required to wear masks and gloves at the buffet, the latter provided by the hotel. The environment felt extremely safe.

Petinos is our "go to" hotel not only in Mykonos but anywhere in Europe! We will certainly be back for more!

We arrived on Mykonos after 3 days in Athens and were taken to Petinos Beach. Vouda checked us in with a glass of champagne and warm Greek welcome. We were taken to our room, an easy walk to the 2nd story overlooking the beach. It is beautiful….all rooms on the beach face the turquoise lagoon and the royal blue of the warm Aegean Sea just beyond. STUNNING. Room was very clean, beautiful quality cotton bed linens, perfect pillows; the bathrooms are appointed with everything you could want (or forgot to pack) from scented bath gels to sewing kits. They have an excellent laundry service that will pick up your gross clothing, launder, press and return in just a couple hours.

The hotel has two restaurants - both with the same menu but no complaints! HIGHLY recommend the grilled octopus and fava or salad, and the fresh squid is to die for. Everything is locally sourced and fresh fresh fresh.

In the morning walk onto the beach and reserve chaise lounges from one of the other restaurants on the stunning shore, and treat yourself to an excellent local beer and exquisite salads or seafood while you bask in the hot island sun, cooling off with a dip in the clear blue lagoon waters. At night, watch from your balcony as a red moon rises right in front of you.

The hotel staff, restaurant staff and other Petinos Beach visitors are delightful, making this hotel and area of Mykonos someplace you’ll return to over and over again.

No drawbacks. This is 5-star living at its finest in the Cyclades on the Aegean. Enjoy! And give Voula, Panos and the rest a chance to make your holiday better than you can imagine.

We were skeptical at first based on older reviews but the hotel has been updated, the superior rooms were beautiful and the location is perfect. There was a bus station right outside of the hotel to take you into Mykonos Town (SUPER convenient), the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was well stocked with a variety of foods. This hotel is better than its sister hotel Petinos Beach Hotel. Was a great choice only a minute from the beach. - If you stay here the beach right out front you should AVOID the luxury looking restaurant/beach chairs of Oyster. They rip you off and aren't nice people. Rather go to one of the first ones on the beach or my personal favourite Yialo Yialo where they have great food, amazing staff and reasonable prices.

Do not confuse this hotel with the 5 star Petinos Beach Hotel. I believe that the two are paired as the merchandise such as slippers have the 5 stars on them, when in fact this has been rated 4. I personally do not think this deserves 4 stars, it felt like a 3 star hotel. The reasons being:
1. The hotel is located next to the bus station and our room was above it. The view for £275 per night of a street is not worth the money.
2. The hotel receptionists seemed like they did not want to be there. Any smile given was clearly forced and we were not made to feel welcomed.
3. The facilities included a kettle and 2 mugs but did not include tea & coffee so we bought this from the mini mart across the street.
4. The pool is lovely but trying to order a drink was difficult. They have little bells to ring but on 2 occasions were ignored by bar staff so again we went to the mini mart to buy drinks.
5. Beach towels needed to be collected from reception, during our 3 night stay towels were unavailable 4 times so we had to keep coming back later.
6. This hotel attracts a varied aged crowd but last night we were woken at 4am by party goers drinking and screaming by the pool. I tried to call reception to ask someone to go down but the phone in the room does not clearly indicate how to contact reception. The hotel does not provide a welcome book either but the use of an app. At 4am this is difficult to remember, so I ended up having to contact the hotel via booking.com and then I was put through to their sister hotel instead. Again, this just feels like poor management from staff who do not truly care.

The highlights were:
1. Nice pool
2. Nice breakfast
3. Big comfy bed

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel was beautiful, the first place I’ve stayed where it actually looks like the pictures. The staff are all very friendly and helpful especially Theano, Georgey, Caroline, Elena and Helena (and more but we can’t remember their names!). The hotel was very clean, our room was cleaned each morning and common areas felt very clean. The location is amazing, right on the beach and close to loads of restaurants/bars/small supermarkets etc.

The cocktails and food from the hotel Blue Myth restaurant were always excellent, we never ate in the evening but we ordered lunch at the pool several days and it was always delicious.

Reception were so helpful in ordering taxis, recommendations of where to go, helping us get our Covid test and ordering us an ATV when we wanted one.

We asked for a room overlooking the pool and two single beds - both of which we got and we very much appreciated. The pool area is beautiful and the beanbags very comfy. We never struggled to get beanbag, lots of people seem to go out in the day. The buzzers were brilliant for ordering cocktails and food.

The hotel also picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at after our holiday ended which was very close, 10 minutes away.

Breakfast was good - a mix of hot food, cold meats and cheeses, bread, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, crepes, croissants, cake etc. Fresh fruit juice was amazing but the glasses are very small.

We have stayed at Petinos Hotel for 6 days and 5 nights in total with my sister. We have been picked up from the airport with a shuttle bus arranged prior to our trip through communication via email. From the moment we were picked up, we were already welcomed with great advice and service by the driver of the shuttle bus. Once at the hotel, we were pleased by the size of our room and space provided in terms of storage and wardrobe. The bathroom/toilet was a little too small but other than that the room was convenient for two. The room was very clean as well as everything that was provided in the room (was cleaned every morning once we left the room, with our permission of course). The staff were absolutely amazing. They were very sweet, very attentive, warm and were able to answer any queries we had regarding transport, things to do and places to go in Mykonos.
The breakfast was served between 8-11am and everything was freshly made and delicious. All the precautions were in place to protect the guests from spreading/catching the virus. All staff wore masks/gloves at all times at the restaurant and food was served by staff instead of self-service. The pool was also very nice, every pair of sun-bed had a little table with a “service” button where staff would attend politely to take any food/drinks order at any time (which were also yummy!). Again, the only downside I can mention here is the size of the pool area, which was smaller than expected.
The location of the hotel was also lovely and convenient, it was 2 minutes walking distance from several restaurant's and the beach. To get to the central of Mykonos, it only took us 10 minutes via a bus drive which would set off from the front of the hotel every hour.
Overall, our stay was very comfortable, satisfying and enjoyable. I highly recommend the hotel and it will definitely remain on my list for anytime we want to go back to the beautiful island of Mykonos.

We spent a wonderful stay at Petinos Hotel.

We stayed at a Superior Suite at the ground floor just steps from the swimming pool. It was a great choice. One double bed and 2 singles. Family of 4.
Very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated.

The hotel is meters from the beach. The bus stop to Fabrika (downtown) is right outside the hotel and the bus runs every hour. Cost is around 2 EUR.
The hotel offers complimentary transfer to/from JMK airport. The trip lasts less than 15 min.

The hotel restaurant Blue Myth has a beautiful view to the Platis Gialos beach. Breakfast is served here, which is buffet and very good, including many hot items and freshly made orange juice.
We had dinner many times and food was very good. Quick service, super personalized.

In regards to Covid measures, staff have been already vaccinated and they use their face masks properly at all times. For the buffet, guests need to put on their masks and use disposable gloves to use the utensils to serve the buffet items.
You can find sanitizant everywhere. They are really prepared and one can see it.

And now the best part of our stay: The staff!
A BIG thank you to Apostoli, Carolai, Froso, Elena, Alexis, Dimitri, Daphne, Dennis, George and many many other staff members, including the ladies who kept our room in good shape always.
Sorry for the many missing names and for the mispellings.

They just made our stay truly unforgettable.

Keep up the excellent job. Looking forward to recommending the hotel and staying many more times.

Not only was Hotel Petinos in the perfect location for us, right by the most beautiful beach and walking distance from other nearby beaches, the staff was so attentive and helpful. Particularly want to give a shoutout to the women at the front desk and in the restaurant, Elena, Maria, and Christina, for being very helpful and proactive with everything we could possibly need. The rooms were new and very clean, and we loved the bathrobes and slippers that were left for us. The rooms also come with a steamer, which was a nice added touch as we used it to freshen up our clothes. Also, the breakfast was delicious, the self-serve fresh OJ was an added bonus.

Although a little on the pricey side, the experience was well worth it. Would definitely stay here again!

I have just returned from an 11 night stay at this hotel and I genuinely cannot fault it. I have stayed here several times over the years and will return again early next year.

We stayed in a family room (356) which is right next to the new pool that has been installed at the hotel. The pool is furnished with large bean bags which are free to use and are very comfortable. There is waiter service for drinks and food here too.

Our room was spotlessly clean and made up every day, usually when we were at breakfast. The beds were very comfortable.

The buffet breakfast is ample and there is plenty of choice for everyone.

The hotel restaurant is called the Blue Myth and the food was the best we experienced during our stay in Mykonos. We ate here 5 or 6 times, so I would recommend eating here.

This is a family owned and run hotel and it is clear that they really care about providing a top class service. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and the service is excellent. A free airport or port pick up and drop off service is provided if you email the hotel in advance of your stay.

The sister hotel is directly across the road, literally just a few steps and you can use the pool there too. There are sunbeds here and again they are free to use and the poolside service is also available.

Be aware that the use of sunbeds on the beach is expensive. These cost 30 Euros per day for two beds and an umbrella. These are not connected with the Hotel Petinos.

I really cannot fault this hotel. It is a great favourite for me and my family. If I could have awarded more than 5 stars for this property I would have. I can't wait to go back!

I came here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday . We wasn't disappointed . Was abit apprehensive before our arrival as there was an issue with my card and a pre authorisation as I now had a new card . This was easily resolved and the hotel reassured by emails before our visit. The free transfer was fantastic and the driver gave us top tips of where to visit and key information about out week in Mykonos . Check in was quick and easy and was shown to our room 345 which is 1st floor with a balcony and pool view with sun most of the day which is what I requested. Room cleaned everyday and spotless. Breakfast was between 8-10 am and absolutely loved it . Plenty to choose from including meats , cheeses, cakes, cereals , fruits, Vegetables , juices and full English items. as much as you like however due to Covid must use masks and gloves . Never seen as much variety and options. Staff friendly . a few days before leaving our safe got jammed , where one of the managers helped to get it open which we appreciated and they also printed off out airport paperwork no problems. Location 1 min walk from the room to the beach front , small corner shops and a bus stop which takes you straight to Mykonos town centre(10 mins journey ) for only 1 euro 80 and they come every hour. Pool service fab where there's buzzers to order food and drink. Beanbag seats so comfy. Overall great stay and would love to return.
Just a note to other guests . The hotel provides cups and kettle , but you ned to provide your own milk, tea and coffee however not an issue as reasonable from the shop opposite the hotel.
