Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are thinking of ignoring the negative reviews, don’t. The hotel is so dated. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, I’m on my first night here and already want to come home. The rooms are tiny and the bed is tiny. The rooms have no air con so prepare to sweat yourself to sleep - lucky we have come in April so it’s a bit cooler but if you’re thinking of coming during the summer times I can imagine it will be unbearable. Don’t expect to get any sleep either music blaring from across the road morning and night, had to buy ear plugs to even get a bit of sleep, but even with ear plugs could not block the noise out. Wouldn’t come back. Please take my advice and avoid.

Hotel's Favourite
Excellent position in close vicinity to the beach and bars but also in a nice quiet position with lovely bay or mountain views. The rooms were lovely and clean and in good condition, the all inclusive offerings were wonderful, any drink combination you wanted (just ask!) or help yourself to soft drinks, chilled water, ice, red/white/rose wine, sangria, beers. Food choice was excellent with choices of fresh meats and fish to be cooked fresh to your liking plus many other options with plenty of vegetables and salads. If you couldn't find something amongst that lot, I really worry about what you eat!!! Staff were perfectly nice. The pool area was clean and pleasant, pool was cold but I am rubbish at getting in pools anyway! Plenty of people were using it plus you need it that way when it's getting a bit hot. Checked in at 11.30am and our room was unexpectantly ready! We were also a late checkout and there was free luggage storage and use of showers etc. We often walked down to the front (5 minute walk) and had the odd bar drink, walked around Los Cristianos's shops, all along the front to Playa de las Americas, all easily doable. We would walk to America's of an evening and grab a taxi back which was less than £7. Taxi from the airport is so easy, just walk up to the taxi rank and they sort the next one out for you, fixed rate of €28 and at the hotel in 15 minutes! I will definitely return :-)

Absolute dump of a hotel. Area nice but hotel is still in the 50s. Rooms are disgusting not clean, holes in bedding and towels, coutch/sofa was broken, bath mouldy, doors broken, had to pay extra 80 euro to have mini fridge put in room. Hotel food is to be avoided, always cold no matter what time of day you went for food. Pool area dirty and pool floor is dangerous with patches for repair coming off the pool floor. Would not go back if it was free.

Fighting for a table at breakfast, manager won’t approach customers when they are finished to let hoards of other people sit and eat. Balcony tiny for family of 4, shuffling past each other. Pool has horrible repair patches all over it. Rooms look terrible, for the money they are getting each week, you’d think they update the damn rooms from the 1960 wicker look. Room card activation is needed EVERYTIME you want to get into your room, we’ve had to approach reception everyday to re activate our room cards.Pathetic prehistoric system. When reception asked can they ring us a taxi or book a restaurant for us they all stand around and look at each other. Photos aren’t the same as online pictures, Pool has strange black repair patches inside, looks horrible, didnt set a toe inside it, went to close by beach instead which was gorge. Only the location is good, 5 min walk to beach with shops and restaurants alongside.

MYSELF AN MY DAUGHTER ARRIVED IN TENERIFE NOT FOR A HOLIDAY BUT TO VISIT MY FATHER IN THE HOPSTAL AS HE HAD COLLAPSED AND WAS IN ICU, MY MOTHER HAD ALSO COLLASPED IN THE HOSPITAL FROM ALL THE STRESS, ON ARRIVAL THEY WOULDNT LET ME INTO MY MUMS ROOM, TO GET HER PHONE CHARGER OR TO GET A FEW THINGS TO TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL FOR HER,THEY WERE EXTREMLY RUDE, THE ROOMS WERE SO DATED, AND SMELT OF A SEWAGE SMELL, BREAKFAST WAS TO SAY THE LEAST DISGUSTING, FOOD WAS DRY AND NO TASTE. TYHE STAFF WERE NO HELP WITH ANYTHING I ASKED FOR THE NEAREST PLACE TO CHANGE MONEY AND THEY SAID NO IDEA. MOST OF THE TIME I PASSED CHECKIN THERE WAS SOMEONE COMPLAIING OF SOMETHING. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A HOTEL WHERE IVE BEEN TREATED THIS WAY. THE MAN ON RECEPTION NAMED RICKY WAS VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL ALSO WITH OUR SITUATUIN VERY UNCOMPASSIONATE. STAY CLEAR AT ALL COSTS OF THIS PLACE, IM NOT SURE YOU COULD IMPROVE THIS HOTEL, UNLESS YOU REPLACED ALL THE FURNITURE AND ALL THE STAFF, AND DEFINETLEY THE CHEF. THEY HAVE NO IDEA OF MANNERS.

Serious safety incident
Don't be fooled by the crazy edited photos they display. We paid excessive amounts for a weeks stay and was nothing but disappointed. The food was lacked options and was tasteless, none of the key cards worked, the gym is non existent, the vending machines swallow your money, forget the pool unless you like sitting on strangers laps, the crazy golf was built in 1642 and looks like its survived bombs being dropped on it, the rooms are basic and thats me being nice. The worst part was how rude and unsympathetic the staff were. We were spiked and robbed whilst on holiday and the staff basically laughed in our face and had a 'well it was probably your own fault' attitude. They simply hate English people and you will get treated in a racist manor. The only good part about this stay was when they called the taxi to take us back to the airport. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT GO. You will regret it.

Okay, soo, the hotel itself is dated, rooms, amenities etc. However, we chose this hotel for the location, easy access to Los cristianos promenade. For the price we paid for all inclusive, I think it's bang for your buck, especially for food. I am not a fussy eater, I eat everything and anything, and the hotel has 2 fish types and 2 meat types lunch/dinner for live cooking, I could not stop from eating meat every day. Well done, that's a major win. Animation team is trying hard, especially looking to engage the children. Shower has boiling hot water, careful when setting the water for the kids. Rooms are being cleaned daily, for the 5 days out of 10 anyway, still 4 to go. Drinks average. All being said, we booked the hotel for location and availability of parking. 5 stars from me for the services it provides for a 3 star advertised as a 3 star.

Hotel is average as rating would describe, however very clean rooms cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels, breakfast was good and pool area is well maintained. Location is brilliant just a short walk to beach. No air conditioning which I hadn’t noticed before booking could be a problem in the heat of the summer.

I have just returned from my 4 night holiday staying at this hotel with my 2 children and mum. When we arrived the room was ready and this was about 12.30pm so we were really pleased. Unfortunately we didn't have high expectations about the room quality as I'd read lots of bad reviews after I booked. The room had 4 single beds so we we were pleased about that as my children are older and couldn't have slept on a sofa bed. Due to this we overlooked the Awful smell in the bathroom and the bedside cupboards falling to.bits. I took an extension lead which was a useful tip I read on here, it's needed as there is one socket in the bedroom. Breakfast was OK, but first morning it was chaos and all.tables were not cleared. When i spoke to restaurant staff they were snappy and rude. Evening food options were the worst I have ever seen. We only ate in there once as there was limited options each night. Staff were very unfriendly except the lady on the pool bar who was friendly. It felt like you wee annoying them if you asked for anything. All inclusive food at the pool bar was taken away and not replenished from 4.30ish some days. Didn't bother with entertainment as.it was again very an uninviting area to sit in. We had to wait for the lifts for up to 10 mins at a time as they're so small and look full usually with rude people who actually just don't want to let you in the lift with them. Good location, but down steep hills to beach. Drinks were good on all inclusive option but I won't be staying at this hotel again. Very disappointed 😞

Nice hotel and good location, friendly attentive staff. The entertainment team are super helpful and really made our daughters stay magical. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and the main port area of Los Cristianos. Rooms could do with a bit of a refresh but were clean, quiet and comfortable. I personally don’t think all inclusive is worth it, particularly when you have lots of nice restaurants less than a five minute walk away, but the half board was useful for breakfast and lunch. The buffet was one of the better ones we’ve had while away. The pool was nice, though cold at times! I know it’s not economical to keep it heated so I can’t complain about that. The pool games were fun.
