This is predominantly a residential complex. Not a family friendly place. If you want to use the pool, then expect to pay €3 per sun bed and the same for a parasol. Kids can’t take any form of inflatable in to the pool and also, there is no bar. It is well maintained and well kept, very much catered for the elder generation. Local amenities are not local and are a good 15 minutes away. No lifts but personally I’m fit enough to go up and down the ample stairs. For a apartment of high standard, this should be in the region of €400 a week max as it is not within close proximity of amenities.

Someone might prefer to pay a premium to be further out.

Location- Was good, as it was 5 minutes away from bars, restaurants, supermarket, and sea.
The apartment had all the facilities, was comfortable, we also cooked there.
The lady who owns lives nearby and you must text her daughter if you encounter any problems, therefore she could meet her guests.
Garden is beautiful is artificial grass with sun beds. The complex is quiet.
There's always room around the pool.
The neighbours are helpful as we had problems with our luggage, and they helped us.
There is amicable wardrobe space.

Cons- The host could have met us as per her advert on booking.com and this has 1 bathroom not 2 . I didn’t even have the apartment door Nbr had to text them for it. Also they never told me how they will give me the keys again had to text them.
The washing machine was top load, and I had to close the drum inside, which I did then made a loud noise and the drum wouldn’t go round.I had to text the daughter whose mum came over and couldn't fix it. Who lives in the complex. She had to call out an engineer to fix it and wasn't pleased as she had to pay EUR 50.l, she sent me a horrendous text blaming me. I said you could have met and told us how to use this or left instructions . Now she has input a request through booking. Com to pay her as she said it’s my fault. Which I declined as they were unhelpful throughout.
Then after that I was ignored for a few days as the boiler is a water tank must heat up, however only 1 person can have a shower and then you must wait till the water heats up again. I texted the daughter and she responded after a few days. Which is appalling so we managed. For a family would be a nightmare.
The 10am check out is appalling and they didn't extend this. We were walking around and had to leave our bags in the front. Even hotel check out is 11am or 12pm.
The kitchen and bathroom require renovation, especially the shower tray and is unstable as its plastic and not all the water drains out.
The owners need vast customer service improvements they were so despondent.

Firstly, can I say, my wife and I have visited here many times over the past 10 years or so and the staff at STAR are fabulous. I would normally give the complex 5 stars however on this occasion, as much as it irks me,I can't.

Why?

Well, it is obviously just getting back on its feet after COVID, with many of the long term residents, absent and I believe at home in the UK. This detracts a little from the intimacy and friendliness of the place.

The apartment we rented on this occasion, whilst clean and functional, was a bit dated and on need of an upgrade.

We had a great 2 weeks in Los Cris and in no way did our experience at Vicky2 detract from this.

I do feel however that the place has lost its heart and soul. Whilst you could always rely on it being vibrant and busy, on our most recent visit it was very quiet and lifeless, with sometimes only a dozen or so people around the pool. Whilst not always the best indicator, was certainly noticeable compared to our previous visits.

The heart and soul that I refer to, for me, centred around the bar. The fact that it has now been closed for almost 3 years, is to me the main reason why, the complex has regressed somewhat over the years.

Don't get me wrong, if you want real peace and quiet, with no noise at all, then visit Vicky2, it is still very well looked after, very pleasant surrounding and pristine.

But.........if you want a little bit of life, maybe not.

I don't want to be too critical, as we have always loved this place, but if the apartment owners wish to continue to rent privately and generate continued income, would suggest that this may be difficult without the added value of a bar/restaurant.

Strangely, we will probably revisit later in the year, as it is great value for money, with fingers crossed that something could be done about the bar.

Regrettably My first negative review, 6 previous happy rental years spent on Victoria Court 2 was spoilt this year. We arrived at apt no 104 at 7pm to not even a bottle of water. The washing machine that we had always had use of was locked up.
The following morning we asked the Star Vic 2 management about the washing machine, a curt reply was the owner didn’t want it used. The alternative Was to hand wash or use their laundry service ( 12euro a load) our booking was for 8 weeks!!! Not good without washing machine!!! We understand other people renting through this company had issues as well. Renters make sure when renting self catering apartment from this company, is as we were led to believe, was inclusive of all equipment . We feel we should have been Notified of any changes before leaving home and asked if we still wanted the apartment.

They charge €2 each for sun beds and umbrellas, limit the access to the pool and don’t have a bar or restaurant.
It appears that some people live in the complex all year whilst others who own apartments either rent them out all year or at least some of the year. I got the feeling that the all year round residents weren’t always pleased to see “the tourists” and apparently there is a committee headed by a person called the president who decide upon rules which I feel aren’t always with the holidaymakers best interests in mind, particularly families with young children who want to have fun in the pool, a definite no no here.
If you want a holiday to enjoy definitely don’t stay in Victoria Court 2 Los Cristianos Tenerife.
There are lots of other complexes where you can go and enjoy a well earned break

We stayed here in May, it was a lovely little apartment complex, clean, well run. It was quiet but i didnt mind this, it was nice not hearing screaming children all day long. It was easy enough to get around or make our way to other parts of tenerife. i would go back, its pretty close to supermarkets & bars. It cost us around 10 euros to get a taxi to places like Siam Park or Las Americas.
I was quite shocked to hear theres a 2 euro chare for loungers every day, There is also only 1 entrance / exit. However this did not really effect our stay, it was a lovely peaceful week. We ended up going to bars to have night out & it was nice to come back to a quiet complex

Ideal location, quiet and peaceful.
As with every year, the complex did a great job putting up their Christmas lights which were appreciated by guests of all ages.
Unfortunately the bar is still closed, which is an issue for some but not us, considering the amount of good bars and restaurants near by, you will find somewhere suitable to your liking.

Nice quiet resort that isn't too busy at this time of year, seems to be mostly retirees and permanent residents. Very good pool that wasn't overcrowded. Accommodation is sufficient for self-catering and close enough to cafes and restaurants. No air con so sleeping with the fan noise could be a problem for some. We would come again but possibly during a cooler month. Airport shuttle with Holiday Extras very reasonable.

We stayed here for 8 nights over Christmas 2023. The apartment is dated and desperately needs updating and some TLC. In fairness, the agent did show us pictures in advance, but they did not pick up on the issues that you identify once there. Cupboards with handles missing, rust in the bath, the couch was stained and very uncomfortable, patio doors did not close properly and had a weird safety pin, wifi worked ok in the living room but did not reach the bedroom.

Great location, lovely little complex. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Everything you could want is right here. Appreciate this might be the Easter holidays but the amount of screaming & whingeing that’s happening in and around the pool from the second it’s opened at 10am until around 4/5pm each day is a real let down. Screeching & whining all day long does not make for a chilled out and relaxing few days. Parents should do better. The complex itself should be more considerate of regular customers & private owners.
