The San Marino apartment complexes are situated on the flat area of Los Cristianos in Tenerife and not on the hilly area, important if you have difficulty with walking or have young children. It is an easy walk to the centre of Los Cristianos, and the shopping and commercial hub of this colourful town, only ten minutes away, and about the same to the beach. San Marino Family Apartment resort is central to all the night life of Los Cristianos, but far enough away not to be bothered by noise.

Stayed in this apartment January 20 23, and would definitely not recommend. No way did the description and photos , which were lovely, match up to what we found when we arrived. It showed 2 sofas one of which was a sofa bed. All that was listed what the apartment had was either broken or not available. The sofa was peeling and broken, it was disgusting. The ceiling fans didn't work, bulbs missing. There were no plugs for either the kitchen or bathroom sinks. There was damp and paint peeling in the wardrobe. The oven worked, but not the stove top. Signage missing on the broken patio doors onto balcony. Coffee pot with no handle, iron plate was all rusty and full of dirty brown water.loose wiring was all over the place. Curtains in lounge and both bedrooms didn't meet and we're missing hooks . No bedding for the double bed only single bedding. No mattress protectors. Square pillows fitted into oblong pillowslips very uncomfortable. The condition of the bedding was awful and nobby, no blankets and no change of bedding for a 23 night stay. Cooking pans were filthy,. Utensils the same. Drawers in kitchen just full of tat.drawers in coffee table contained broken DVDs. We had no access to the swimming pool area as you needed a pass and none were provided. I contacted the management in charge of the apartment regarding all these issues almost every day, with these issues, and they promised to bring a change of bedding, and fix things, time and nothing was forthcoming from them. They apologised about the sofa and said a new one was on order but taking time. They apologised about there being no pool pass and said it had run out 3 months ago and not been renewed.They were very uncooperative about the bedding and promised to bring a change, but didn't. All this made our holiday stressful. It was cold at night especially with no blankets. I turned on the oven at night and left the oven door open just for some warmth in the lounge. The best score I could give was for the balcony. Everything else was just junk and tat and I would definitely not recommend. The complex itself is clean and is in a good location. This apartment is still being advertised but is nothing like it says. It really needs taking down.We paid 2,700 euros and were robbed…

Hello, sorry for not seeing this review sooner. I am sorry you had a bad experience at San Marino, but I believe you did not book through us but through a separate apartment that does not have the license to legally rent out their property. We do not offer our rooms anywhere apart from our official website and the price you paid does not match anywhere close to what we'd charge. The apartment was like being in the 70s and the pool was very poor. You are only 2 sun beds which means if you have 4 in apartment 2 people can't have beds which is poor. If you have kids you are now allow to have fun in the pool as only for 60s plus who live there as they moan so overall the service is shocking and not a very good experience at all

Went for a month at these lovely apartments, well positioned as I love to walk to the shops,beach and bars but hate walking up hills so this is ideal.Near to everything and Diane the manager was an absolute star making sure I had all the information about brilliant places to eat and which forms I needed for travelling passenger locator forms etc.Cannof thank her enough made it painless and seamless

Whilst the apartment was ok this was not a relaxing holiday. Work was being done on the pool area. Pneumatic drills from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday so sitting reading on your patio or balcony was out of the question. I understand that this work is going to take at least 2 months maybe longer. I like the complex it is situated in a great position but is expensive compared to other complexes.

Despite coronavirus & scare tactics of our Government we decided we were taking our August holiday - so long as their were still flights available. We are so glad we made that decision as from the word go & confirmation the Management team of the complex went above & beyond to ensure our stay was as safe & enjoyable as ever. They, & Diane, emailed regular updates on the virus situation out there & all the rules & regulations partaining to the virus to ensure our safety. So a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts to ALL the management team & ALL the staff for that extra, caring, yet always cheerful, effort. A special thanks to Diane, who was her usual bubbly self, & her sister who ensured our apartment was cleaned & completely sanitised for our arrival. It was almost almost heartbreaking to see all the work that had been carried out from the previous year not being showed off as it should have been to the normal amount of visitors (which was the same for the whole town). Now you can see why we always come here for our holiday and, God willing, we will be back next year. We really look forward to that.…

Have stayed in Los Cristianos a lot and ofter wondered what San Marino would be like, went into site and made enquiry, about five minutes later Diane rang me at home and my booking was sorted out promptly. Arrived 25th Feband we were shown to our apartment by Sav, lovely man, the apartment was tip tip way over and above what you,d get anywhere else, all kitchen equip that you,d need for any meal. TV with lots of UK channels, spotless. Also free Wi Fi in room. There for two weeks loved all of it, didn,t see Diane but Sav was always available and helpful. Thanks for a great apartment, will be back to you.

Sadly just got back from another fabulous stay in San Marino. Thanks to sav and Diane and all their help with rebooking for next year after the problems we occurred, we can’t wait for our return. Have been coming to Los Cristianos (area) since 1987 & since late 90s, whenever possible, have stayed at the San Marino Apartments. What do we love so much about this place? From the minute you make first contact with Sav & Diane, in the office, everything becomes a pleasure. When you arrive they are so nice, pleasant & obliging & informative it really gets your holiday off to a brilliant start. The location is ideal, out of the hustle & bustle of the centre area but only a few minutes walk into the town centre shopping area & 15 min enjoyable & lovely stroll down to the main beaches. Everything you need is on your doorstep. Apolo Commercial Centre & large supermarket is directly behind the Apartments. Here you have a fantastic choice of restaurants & bars - our favourite is "Leo's" cafe/restaurant/bar, where you are always guaranteed excellent service with huge smiles from him & his staff. If these selections of bars & restaurants Isn't enough you have Italian & Chinese restaurants, along with "Harriet's" restaurant/bar - another favourite of ours - attached to the front.. The apartment complex itself is so brilliant & clean & so well maintained that it is absolute credit to ALL the staff. For a while, in the distant past, its appearance began to look a bit "tired". However, through a lot of dedication, & hard work, it has rejuvenated itself. Every morning & evening I watched & admired the hard work put in by ALL the staff - especially the gardeners for the lovely flowers & plants. All this making our holidays so memorable & enjoyable. As a lone traveller, it's difficult to find somewhere both nice and reasonably priced, but this place fits the bill on both counts. Sav in the office is a great guy and very accommodating, even when I decided to stay a few extra days at the last minute. Right next to the Bus station, so it costs 3Euros on the bus from the airport. Ten minute walk into town. surrounded by bars, restaurants shops and banks. Brilliant!

Just got back after renting an apartment here and I cannot speak high enough of Diane and Sav who gave us the penthouse apartment so we had a lovely view of the sea and I could people watch all afternoon when it had full sun breakfast on a lovely patio was smashing, apartment had absolutely everything you could need even needles and thread when I popped a button First rate have booked for a month next year
