A fantastic stay at Villa Le Blanc in May 2023. We booked the Ocean Suit with Tub (106) which had great views and a very nicely sized room - definitely an upgrade worth considering.

The menu in the restaurants were good and had different fish options every day in the Nivi restaurant.

We found the service to be excellent, and would like to give thanks especially to David and Oliver in the Nivi restaurant and Ab in the Cru bar - incredibly friendly and took their time to explain everything and to make sure our stay was the best it could be.

The location of the hotel itself is good, with hikes along the coast and forest areas nearby. We were surprised at how diverse Menorca was.

The activities we found were a little expensive however (e.g. a 4hr boat tour visiting beaches at over 1000 euro), although, we would recommend the Heaven to Earth stargazing tour, which lasted around 4-5 hours, travelling to the historic places of Menorca, lovely little farms trying local produce, surprisingly large ravines and to El Toro (the highest central mountain which has 360 degree views of the island). Finishing with stargazing after sunset.

Overall a great experience and somewhere to relax and chill out. We'll definitely go back.

We had a week here and enjoyed the stay. This is a nice hotel which has been ‘retro fitted’ and upgraded recently. Very nice common areas and pool area, decent/average ‘standard’ restaurant and very good ‘signature restaurant’. The staff were smart and friendly. On the negative side, I thought that the rooms were small considering they were £500 a night. When we arrived, the lady who checked us in tried to ‘up sell’ another room, that was very nice and twice the size of the room that we had booked - however, it was an extra £1800 for the week. Given that we were already paying £3,500, we declined. Basically, the room booked didn’t feel like good value. The other slight ‘niggle’ was that the reception staff didn’t seem particularly well informed. We asked about the timetable of buses to Mahon and were told, after a period of checking by the staff, that we’d have to walk 15 mins to get one, but they could book a taxi for us as an alternative. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel front door, so I asked where the buses went to from that particular stop. The response was that the buses from outside the hotel only went to Ciutadella. We decided not to bother. However, as it turned out, there were several buses a day from the bus stop outside the hotel that went to Mahon. It’s a small thing, but I expect reception staff at a hotel of this quality and price bracket to have an instant and accurate answer to that type of standard request. Apart from that, it was OK.

Location : we felt that it was a little out of the way, by car it's around 30mins from any Cuitadelle or Mahon (and to most locations).

Decor : It's pleasant however lacked atmosphere. There was nothing too outstanding.

Room : For the amount charged the rooms were unacceptably small. There really isn't space for more the large suitcase.

Room design : Was very odd, the shower, toilet, bathtub were all set as part of the hallway, separately, squeezed behind a curtain which acted as the partition between the room and the hallway.

Service : very much lacking, no one even showed us around the hotel or the facilities. Luggage was not delivered and in the end, we picked up our own luggage without anyone noticing, which meant our luggage were not secure.

Roof top swimming pool : Lacked service, staff seemed lazy and did not want to help anyone. The pool was also very shallow, 80cm throughout and meant for adults only.

Restaurant : Breakfast and dinner was very mediocre. Again lacked atmosphere.

Summary : for being charged around 1,000 euros a night, this is definitely not the quality expected, there was nothing special or outstanding. For this amount we expect top quality and service.

We expected better, our experience wasn't one of a luxury hotel. Before staying here, we stayed in a beautiful rural boutique hotel, we chose Le Blanc for our last night in Menorca, we wanted to splurge in one of the rooms with a Full view of the Mediterranean sea.
When we arrived, the staff was courteous, reception was busy so we had to wait and they treated us to a drink, which we appreciated. Our understanding is that they would let us know when reception could check us in, but no one did, after 45 min waiting, we decided to go to reception, which was completely empty.
We had lunch there, and that was the only meal, aside from the breakfast that was included, that we had there, it was nothing special and very underwhelming for a hotel of such category.
We got to the room and it had a Partial view of the sea, half of the view was the neighboring hotel. We are not ones to complain as we find it uncomfortable, so we just told ourselves it was ok, but after thinking how much extra they charge for a room with a full view, we complained. Their answer was that the room was bigger than the one with the full view, which:
1. we didn't care about the size, we cared about the view.
2. tells me they knew exactly they weren't offering what we booked, and they tried to compensate.
They moved us to a different room with the view we asked for, that's great, but moving around in such a large hotel is an inconvenience, and half of our stay was already wasted in the room we didn't ask for.
During this change, my toiletry bag was lost and never got recovered. We also had to ask them a few times through phone and then went down to reception as it seemed the information wasn't being sent to the right department.
When checking out, it took a very long time to get our car, like 30 min, even though it was right there, we could see it, the reason? They never transferred the information regarding the change of room to the valet dept. , so, of course they needed to be sure we were the right guests. We also found the valet parking extremely pricy, rates similar to LA, in Menorca?
I think this hotel, to be called a true 5*, needs refinement, having a modern interior design, private pools and hot tubs in rooms, and courteous staff is not enough, we are passed that. It also suffers from what a lot of large hotels do, lack of communication, which highly impacts guests' experiences. A good example of a large hotel that runs smoothly is The Ned in London.
Even though the view from our second room was delightful, we won't be back as the overall experience and the food leaves much to be desired.

This was our second holiday to Villa Le Blanc (May 2023, June 2024), staying in the same room type (Ocean Suite with Terrace Tub - Room 110).

My partner and I really enjoyed it once again. A good location (centre south of the island), about 30 mins taxi (35 Euro) to Ciutadella to the west and the same to go to Mahon (east). There's also some great hikes (1-2 hours) to other small beaches along the south coast that are worth doing through the forest trail areas and also a great spot to watch a sunset to the left of the hotel.

In general, the hotel is immaculate and incredibly clean with a beautiful design, the food is good and the staff have always been great to us and can't do enough to help us or arrange bookings, trips, taxis etc.

This time we booked the private boat trip which was fantastic, just me and my partner, accompanied by a Captain (Juan Pablo - who was incredible). We were transferred to Mahon and explored the north side of the island, visiting small coves and beaches, anchoring up and jumping in the sea all afternoon. I would highly recommend this if you can afford to do it.

As well as Juan Pablo, we would like to give a thanks in particular to Ab and Alvaro (part of the Guest Experience team) who were always incredibly polite and couldn't do enough to help us (as was the same in 2023).

We would also like to give a special thanks to Oliver who also provided us with a fantastic service all holiday, having a great laugh, great conversation and teaching us some Spanish as well as making sure everything was going well with our stay (again, just as in 2023). The consistency of service and friendliness of these staff in particular make us keep wanting to come back, so thank you!

I came to Villa Le Blanc with my friend to celebrate her birthday. Upon arrival the staff didn’t even acknowledge that this stay was due to her birthday despite taking her passport details and it being written in the booking, which for a 5 star luxury hotel is really poor form. We both have stayed in many luxury hotels and they have NEVER failed to treat someone on birthdays and make their stay a little bit more special. On top of this, both became unwell (along with other hotel guests), we made the manager aware but she did nothing. One of the evenings when we had dinner at the main restaurant, my friend was still not feeling great, so asked if she could have one of their flatbreads or pizza but plain with no toppings (which is essentially just bread), we were then charged for a full pizza (€21), which is a bit ridiculous for consuming just some bread, particularly after having been sick at their hotel. They were very unapologetic of the fact we were both unwell, regardless of whether it was from their food or not, in a 5 star hotel this is not the way you expect to be treated.
At checkout, when we raised all the issues we had had during our stay, they were still very unsympathetic and did nothing about it.
We both agreed that we have never felt less well looked after by a hotel. Overall, if you’re looking for a luxury 5* stay this is most definitely NOT the one. My friend who also posted a review got a call from the manager Jacobo regarding the review and not once did he seem apologetic about how we felt, instead he went on trying to get my friend to further explain herself which she had done already. This is not the way you treat someone who felt they had a bad time at a luxury hotel and paid a lot for it.

I know this resort says it has a kids club but it DOES NOT. Be very careful. There is a nice room with toys that they pitch as open 24 hours, but there is no supervision, there are no activities. It is not a kids club, it’s just a room that kids can go in. It’s a toy room.
For most people this won’t be disappointing, but parents came here because they said they had a kids club.
Parents also came here to book a suite and have a space away from their children, especially while they slept. We have a beautiful room, but even though they call it a suite, it’s just a room they pushed an extra single bed into. No separate area. No privacy. It’s just not what you are expecting.
Resort is beautiful and everyone is very nice, but for parents you came for 2 reasons, because they said they had a kids club, and because you booked a beautiful suite. We got neither.
I just don’t get the needless false descriptions. This company has resorts everywhere, it makes no sense.
This could be a five star review and a five star resort, but instead they are choosing to lure people in under false pretenses. Honestly it’s just so demoralizing for people that travel with their kids.

Our main objective is to make sure that all our guests are completely satisfied. Given the importance that your words have for us, we would like to respond point by point to your comments: In regards to the kid´s club activities and supervision, if you kindly double checked our website, there is no state that we have activities for kids nor it is supervised. In this case, we are sorry for any misunderstanding. We created a safe and fun space for kids to promote their creativity with many objects and toys for all ages. On a different note, the description of our suites complies with the Spanish regulation on surfaces and furniture. We are sorry if you have not felt that the layout and space were not like in other hotels as our designers have wanted to create a loft open space design so it may not have an area delimited by a wall, but in terms of surface and design it complies with the necessary specifications to be a suite. Finally, we would like to thank you for taking some of your valuable time to send us your comments, which will help us to continue improving, and offer our sincere apologies once again for not having offered the expected service in some departments. An amazing week at this lovely Hotel. ALL the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous throughout our stay, food is amazing, the spa was clean, with excellent treatments and facilities. The Hotel location is good, only 30 mins from Mahon airport, with nearby sandy beaches, few mins walk away. There are some incredible trails into the pine forests within a 10 min walk from the Hotel which takes you along the coastline, passing beautiful scenery and yet more sandy beaches. The sea water is brilliantly clear and I would imagine a delight in the Summer time. Overall 10/10!

Our stay was honestly incredible; we wish we could have stayed for longer. The hotel itself was clean, beautifully presented and overall, an amazing experience. The room (and room service) was exceptional and far surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail you have is amazing. The amenities are amazing too - lots of options for everyone!

Everything was impeccable and all of your staff were extremely kind, helpful and vigilant. One staff member in particular really stood out - Christian. Christian made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and his service was amazing. He really is an asset to the hotel and the Leading Hotels Group. Thank you 😊

When it came to your restaurants, the selection was great, including breakfast. My best friend is allergic to gluten and there was plenty of options or alternatives she could have💫

The only ‘improvement’ I could ask for is clearer information or signs to show where things are - the rooftop pool, sauna etc but, this is just a personal preference and something minor.

Overall, we can’t thank you enough for your kind hosting and we’re already missing the beautiful hotel grounds, as well as the incredible views. Thank you and hopefully be back soon! ☀️
