Hotel is located in heart of the town, very close to M.G. Market. at a walkable distance. This gives ample of time to explore the shops, restaurants, hotels, etc. at MG Market. Rooms are tidy and clean, the food served is tasty & fresh. The view of mighty Kanchenjunga peak from the balcony of the rooms in early mornings is spectacular. Special thanks to Reception Managers Mr.Pronoy Thapa and Ms.Sukmaya Begha for all the courtesies extended to us during our 4 day stay.

This year we decided to visit Sikkim. So from Kolkata we travelled to Siliguri, Kalimpong, Gangtok and finally Namchi and back. We reached Gangtok on 23rd May. We stayed at Sonam Delek for 3 nights and I cannot tell you what beautiful stay it was. I was travelling with my Mother, Sister and our three kids. We had booked three apartment suites. I have travelled to many places in the past, but I have never been so mesmerized with the way the rooms were made and decorated. The rooms had this beautiful positive energy and had the most spectacular view from all three sides. The staff at the hotel are very helpful. There is a restaurant within the hotel and the food is quite good. The chef here cooks excellent North Indian food. If you are a vegetarian, you have nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Gangtok. I definitely will plan another trip soon. …

One of the best staying experience in my recent days. They are polite and friendly. Please do stay here if you are visiting gangtok and it is very close to the mg road Darjeeling. And they provide rooms at affordable price!

Wow..this is nice view from Balcony. I stay here with my family, room no. 404 super delux room. Best hotel, 2 Star hotel.Cleanings mind-blowing Foods also very good. Staffs are also good behaviour, and very friendly. Thanks Sonam delek, for your helpings.

Stayed here from 21st to 24th may 2022 in suite no 401. Excellent views of mountain. Spacious room with all required amenities. Staff very courteous and helpful. Location wise -- walking distance from M G Marg. Food was ok ok. Reasonably priced.

This place is at super location specially want to stay at gangtok near MG Marg. Just 5 minutes walking up and down hill in mix but very much walkable. Wonderful view in the back drop. Special mention to foods and m sure cook is capable of making all taste of foods. Stuff were really cordial and helpful. No wonder this place win so many accolades from popular tourist sites. Combo breakfast menu has decent variety to offer.

The hotel is located bery close to MG Road and is walking distance. The hotel staff are very good and helfpul and the most important point is that the rooms are not too costly. The food served by the hotel is delicious as well and does not take long time to prepare.

When i visited gangtok after 18 years, I wanted a hotel that will make my family of four comfortable, will be near to M. G Road but won't be in a crowded place and I will get an unhindered view of Himalayas. And trust me all my criteria were fulfilled and much more. The staff at the hotel were ever ready to help me with a smile. A very special thanks to Suraj, the front office guy. When I wanted to try some local pickle, they served me their home made exotic orchid pickle and bamboo dalle pickle. We stayed in the suite room 405,which I believe is the best of the luck. This is a great property and scores full marks on every front: Quality of rooms, friendliness of service, proximity to MG road, food etc. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from MG road. We stayed here for 4 nights. I had stayed here once in 2016 and had given 5-stars then as well. And I just realized that we stayed in the same room in 2016 as well (when I read my old review - https://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g659796-d1157745-r367408721-Hotel_Sonam_Delek-Gangtok_East_Sikkim_Sikkim.html) I understand these are COVID times and some things would have been difficult. But the hotel never showed any signs of rustiness....the paint, furniture polish - everything was top class. Bathrooms were clean. And the suite room (405) was lovely - so were the views from the balcony. A special mention to manager Suraj, Pintu and a third (tall) person who made our stay as pleasant as possible. They are so eager to help...with every request. Kudos to the chef as well - because almost every item we ordered for dinner or buffet breakfast tasted great. The hotel and the staff have a certain positive vibe about them and that makes your stay lovely.…
