I visited Ashsihkhim Guest house with my family on 16th may 2016. We were 12 of us 9adults and 3 kids.I booked the guesthouse after reading the reviews and feedbacks given on Trip Advisor. Excellent stay. A home away from home. Rooms, food, everything is great. Thanks to the Pradhan family for the warmth shown to us. The property is situated a bit away from the main city in the midst of quietness and great views.

A very comfortable and warm place to retain the homely atmosphere while you are away from home. This is out of town so let's you be closer to beautiful nature of Sikkim. It was an a memorable stay in Ashishkhem. The Pradhan family is very hospitable and helpful. The food preparations are fresh and tasty. We loved the ambience of the place. This was our first homestay and it was really an excellent experience.

Stayed in guest house from 25 to 28 May 2015 with family. Really love the care and assistance given by entire Pradhan Family. We get the best in terms of personal care, guidance, assistance for family members during the stay. Excellent place with beautiful ambiance with lovely food...Memorable trip of Gangtok..Aashishkhim...

Visited Gangtok in May 15 and stayed in Aashishkhim for 4 nights with Family.Lovely place with a homely ambiance .Dr.Pradhan and Mrs.pradhan knows how to delight their guests and believe me you will fall in love with this place.Just outskirt of main area (though 4 kms from MG Road) this is place where u love to relax ..with ample space... We stayed at Aashishkhim guest house from 1May till 5May 2015. This is the first time we tried a homestay and it turned out be excellent. It is very clean and spacious place. Sikkim, also known as "Denzong", the valley of rice, has always enchanted visitors with its vibrant culture, beautiful hills, mountains, people, flora & fauna. A land of tranquility, blessed by the Gods, Sikkim has proven to be paradise on earth. It is bounded by Bhutan, Nepal and China to its east, west and north respectively. The southern boundary is shared with the state of West Bengal. Sikkim is very rich in biodiversity with more than 600 species of orchids, 36 rhododendrons species, 23 bamboo varieties, 60 primula species, over 424 medicinal plants and a total of 550 species of birds. Tourists visiting Sikkim have a wide array of activities to choose from. Monastic tours to rock climbing, river rafting to cultural tours, climbing peaks to bird watching, you can have it all. All these activities can be organised by local registered tour operators. "Aashishkhim" is a Nepali-Sikkimese term that literally means "House of Blessings". Aashishkhim Guest House is located in the suburbs of Gangtok about 2 Kms. Away from the city. The area is completely surrounded by lush green trees and bamboo grooves with a perpetual stream nearby. The exterior of the structure is of dressed stone and the guests are housed in comfortably furnished rooms with running hot and cold water and cable TV. There is an adjoining spacious common living area with balcony and veranda. The modest lawn and garden is visited by a variety of birds and butterflies in the early hours and are a treat to watch. Indira Bypass along the guest house is a marvelous route for long walks in the countryside through sparsely populated areas.
