We stayed in a studio room with a kitchenette. The room felt a little basic and the beds were harder than some may like. The bathroom had both bath and shower, unfortunately the door to the shower did not shut properly so we generally ended up with a very wet bathroom floor when we’d had our showers. I also don’t think the A/C was working properly in our room.
Having said all that, the staff were great, there are two great pool areas (not heated) and lots to keep kids entertained. The entertainment staff also do a good job of putting on activities during the day. For the fitness conscious there’s a gym equipped with some very modern looking kit.
There are two a la carte restaurants, the Tex Mex was only open on a Thursday evening. It was. Wet nice and I recommend booking in to ensure you get a chance to eat there. The Italian was open every evening. The main buffet restaurant also served a good variety.
I was surprised to find branded alcohol on the AI package, for the price we paid I was expecting local alcohol only.
Masks are mandatory when moving about indoors and there is hand sanitiser everywhere.

We stayed here sep 14th-21st our room had a stunning sea view we really appreciated waking up to this every day the superior room I wouldn’t say was superior the furnishings looked abit tired and worn down the shower was awful impossible to get a decent wash the room was cleaned every day but this was disappointing the bed was made never changed and towels changed but that’s about it the cleaners need to improve as the room isn’t cleaned to a good standard .
There was way too many young children there for our liking we love kids we have 3 grown up ones but it was deafening around the pool and during meal times you couldn’t relax constant screaming shouting bad behaviour etc they desperately need an adult only quiet dining experience.Getting food was like a cattle market it was crazy busy but we liked the food in general .
The entertainment at night repeated on our 6 th night we watched 2 Hollywood Shows surely they need a two week turn around on shows so they don’t repeat the main girl dancer was amazing she made the show and a fab contemporary male dancer .The shows were very samey I heard a lot of people moaning about the entertainment
The aqua aerobics was fun in the day but the music was so loud .
The towel deposit rule was silly 20 euros each walk to top of hill get towels then day before coming home take back up hill get stamp then go to reception for money back even the member of staff I complained too agreed it was ridiculous.
Positives room location
Nice walks
Nice staff very courteous
Great trip to citudella would recommend your guide amazing
Nice food
The hotel isn’t as bad as some of the reviews I’ve read they are a little unfair but consider adults who come without kids we need a quiet relaxing area for dining and entertainment needs to be more varied without repeats
The African professional show was amazing wish we could of had more entertainment like this .

Excellent location, wonderful view, excellent food despite the fact that it is not so diverse, the service needs to be much improved, the staff needs lessons to smile and pay more attention to customer needs. Very kind animators.
Warning: There is no room service (water, tea, coffee) even if it is provided in the payment. An application to the hotel reception is absolutely necessary to benefit for the service. Water should be taken in personal containers at the bar (the taste leaves something to be desired). Recommendation to buy water from the surrounding markets (very close to the resort).

BOOK ELSEWHERE…This is not a 5* hotel, it’s 3* at a push, anyone who says otherwise has never stayed in a true 5*. Beautiful grounds, great location & loads of potential but badly managed & woefully understaffed. Expect queues, long waits for taxis (up to 1hr sat outside with a baby), all sun beds reserved by 7am (people putting towels out the night before), ridiculous charges (deposits for towels, have to pay for the use of a safe or iron), a very basic room clean (maid refuses to clean bath or kitchenette, leaves dirty glasses in sink; same dirty bed sheets being continuously reused even after I stripped & left on the floor!!). Absolutely no variety in the main dining room, cold food & a la carte restaurant booked up for duration of our stay, not so much as a hello from the unfriendly wait staff for the first several days of our holiday then on our last night I nearly fell off my chair when the waiter said “Good evening, how are you?” (likely due to the fact management were very visible on site following the bad reviews!!) Lack of children’s activities during our holiday due to staff shortages. Despite multiple (large) venues onsite management chose to show the UEFA Euro Final in the smallest room in the resort, complete shambles (so much for social distancing!). Save your money!

Management: It’s 2021, invest in a computer system; decide whether you are self catering accommodation or all inclusive, if the latter then you need to provide an all inclusive experience!

Imagine being excited to get off the bus after a wonderful journey for your 5 month old's first holiday, your honeymoon, only to be faced with a queue in the full heat and sun without shade.. that would eventually take 2 hours.

No communication. No water. No shade. No one to greet us, no one to help with luggage, no one to apologise, nothing. We were the first off the bus but because there's no luggage carriersmad we have a little baby to support, we were the last in the queue.

Imagine being the only family in that queue with a baby of our age and not being prioritised at all.

Imagine being around other families with young children in distress, crying, hungry, thirsty, tired.

Imagine asking the managers to help, if only to allow somewhere indoors and private for our baby to be breastfed only to be told "we can't do that ". Imagine being verbally abused by one of the staff when you try to ask questions to get answers to safeguard your newborn baby.

Imagine when after 2 hours we finally get to the front of the queue, you are not actually given any infomation about the hotel, the food, the room, the restaurants, the location, the internet. Imagine when you finally get to your room at 9.30pm well beyond your baby's bedtime, that you do not have a key that can access it so you have to literally run back to reception again leaving your baby again to beg them to give you keys that work.

Imagine that when you get in the room that there is no working Aircon, no baby pack as advertised and pre requested, no drinking water, no internet that works and wo betide nothing to do with our request that this is our honeymoon.

Imagine being too late to get any food and imagine that despite sending multiple messages to tui... Literally noone from tui or the hotel gets back to you.

Imagine your baby physically suffering as a result of the negligent behaviours of staff in this hotel.

You don't need to imagine any of this with this hotel. Its is utterly disgraceful. Its the worst hotel ever.

I'm in room 2604 right now if you would like to take any actions to resolve any of our issues. When I return I will be formally requesting a refund and will be speaking to my lawyer about legal actions depending on what further damage Is caused. I know I am not alone.

Despicable.

I booked, not a normal room, but a Suite room for the 14-21 Aug week.
The reception didn't answer any call (like 10times tried) for the entire time no matter if in the morning, afternoon or dinner.

in the Suite, WIFI 'premium' mentioned in the web site was not available, neither the Free, actually no WIFI at all; they told me a technician will fix it in 1 or 2 days, I'm still waiting...

Even worst out of the 5 restaurants, only 2 were open and one of it was the buffet, which at time of covid, didn't have a minimal attention to igiene, like everyone was touching food from the buffet none was controlling or making sure people respect that.

No way to book the remaining restaurant as it was fully booked.

the different Swimming pools was barely ok, but again just checking the igiene there was abandoned masks, food and no feeling of being clean.

For me a place like that should be doomed to fail.

We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The important points for the family - blackout curtains which were effective, working air con, choice at meal times meant there was always something for them to eat. There are a few parks and play areas and the pool areas cater really well for little ones.
Our room was a first floor, bright with enough room for 4, a small kitchenette. We paid for a ‘sea view room’ but disappointingly it was more a park view room with a side sea view. Having requested the room for the benefit of quiet time on the balcony with a view it was particularly disappointing that we were also on top of the pool area. Obviously this helped with the towels at dawn issue (though in truth 8am was adequate time for claiming the sun bed and the top pool was never full). The room was really well sound proofed so we slept very well.
Food wise the most important point for us was that they catered well for gluten free as our daughter is coeliac. Carlos was brilliant explaining what they can do and she had delicious freshly cooked baguette every morning and fresh pasta and pizza on request. They would also tell you what else was gluten free. There was plenty of meat and potato options and fresh fruit and yoghurt, beans, bacon and mini sausages for breakfast. The fries were usually a may contain. They would do this at each of the restaurants so she was always catered for and overall we were impressed. There was also a gluten free basket and toaster which was nice to have. Eva at the pool bar was fantastic in helping us with an a la carte slot.
The local area of punta prima was charming, a small seaside village, lovely beach, a few nice bars and restaurants as well as some shops and market. We enjoyed eating at Aire. We also had a great time paddle boarding and kayaking at SupAire, which is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.
There were some issues, the very long wait at check in was disappointing but the rude people who started shouting and swearing and storming around certainly didn’t help. The servers were certainly overwhelmed at times but mostly sought to help you. Many issues would be the same anywhere. Most people, a mix of young and old, couples and those with a variety of children were really lovely and the mix of nationalities was refreshing.
We enjoyed playing tennis (free hire of equipment) and my son and husband took part in a daily football match on the Astro at 5.30pm.
All in all we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and feel fortunate to have been able to have this after / during the pandemic.
If we wanted another all inclusive we would return, but will definitely return to Menorca and the resort as it is charming. Tui were faultless and booked us tickets for the boat trip in Mahon and advised of buses etc.
If you come here, enjoy!

Arrived at hotel 11:30 am room was ready in fantastic location right in middle of resort, room well decorated very comfortable for family of 2 adults & 2 children
Pool areas are fantastic spotlessly clean with unlimited drinks, ice cream and snacks from 10:30-6pm chips, burger, various fried meats, salad, fruit, wraps, sandwiches (you won't go hungry here)
Restaurants, staff take you to your table then provide you with a drink then you collect your food from the buffet which has an extensive selection, if you can't find anything to eat then you must be very fussy we eat all week with no problems .
Staff, all staff on site treat you fantastic always an hello, goodbye, how are you we didn't require any assistance from staff in resort but reps were always around if needed,
Local area, we went to mahon for the local market (Tues & Thurs) bus directly outside hotel €1.75 each way taxi is roughly €13 .
We also went on a glass bottom boat from mahon marina €13 euro each ( deffinatly recommend)
Local water park is also a great few hours out we had free tickets but I believe its about €20 each .
Overall a fantastic holiday in a really nice hotel ,spotlessly clean with lovely staff please don't listen to the negative reviews on here come and enjoy yourself you will have a fabulous holiday .
Thank you insotel punta prima (see you next year) ....

Travelled as two 60 something ladies, one of whom has mobility issues. We requested to be near the facilities and were given room 4607, perfect for our needs. The apartment has a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge area and double/ twin in the bedroom so we were appropriately catered for. No complaints about the room apart from to be honest the cleaners didn’t do a great job and actually didn’t come in one day at all. We don’t leave the room in a mess anyway which was just as well. A little girl cut her foot and bled on the poolside on our first day, the blood was there all week, only washed away by the rain; the housekeeping dept need to speak to their staff.
Many reviews have been comprehensive about IPP, we were more than happy with everything from the easy check in to leaving. Food absolutely fine from both the buffet and grill bar, great drinks and ice creams. Branded drinks very welcome and unusual in so many AI. Ok not a great cocktail selection but the sangria was lovely. The staff I cannot fault at all, friendly and efficient despite some bloody rude obnoxious guests.
If I have to find fault, it would be the amount of flies and wasps attracted bt the food and drinks, not very sanitary I’m afraid. Easy to remedy with a bit of thought.
If you want a lively resort , are a hen/stag then this place is not for you. Punta Prima is small, relaxing and quiet which suits us just fine. Not much in the way of bars though there are some restaurants. There is a bus to Mahon just outside the hotel costing €1.75 which leaves roughly on the hour and takes approximately 25 mins, the market is worth a visit as is the town generally.
I’ll happily return, although not with my husband who likes to go out in the evening to watch football or to visit a bar.

Check in was fine, there were at least 4 working on reception, receptionist pleasant, helpful and polite. Arrived around 11am so room not ready, but telephone number taken to be contacted, which happened within the hour. Twin room booked but we were given a double - opted to stay there and requested bedding to make up the sofa bed which required a bit of sorting out but it was fine and worked ok. An offer of assistance with cases to the room by buggy was available. Room size good, not too far to walk, nice view of the bay from the balcony. Plenty of storage space, safe in room (€20 per week). Small kitchenette with fridge and hob. There is no kettle in the room but used the saucepan to heat water for hot drinks. Fair sized bathroom, but water comes out under the door of the shower, needed extra bath mats to absorb the water. Air conditioning totally useless - it simply doesn’t work! But a ceiling fan in lounge and another in bedroom helped, and worked ok. No iron or ironing board in room however it is available from reception for refundable deposit of €20 if returned within 24 hours. Laundrette on site with free use of 3 washing machines (very good at cleaning clothes) and 2 dryers (good luck getting these to dry your clothes, also useless). Rooms are cleaned at speed each day, with cleaned towels provided, an express sweep of the floor and a flick around with a damp mop, around 6 minutes this takes apparently. To be fair I don’t think they have enough staff and they have too many rooms to service. Saving the best til last, the dining experience. Hmmmmm clearly it’s seriously understaffed and the waiters overworked given the numbers of guests on site. Big shout out to Antonio, always helpful and cheerful. It’s way too busy, meal is a rushed experience. The cold food is ok, but the hot food, well it just isn’t! So far I haven’t seen anyone actually check the temperature of the food as they have at other hotels I have stayed at. We have given up and have gone to the restaurants nearby to eat. The resort is situated in a good spot, it’s well laid out and looked after and is clean and tidy. It’s definitely geared towards young families so lots of small children and babies there. Would be nice if there was an adult only pool area and bar /entertainment area. The management need to get to grips with lack of staffing and issues with the food and dining experience then it may be entitled to have five stars but currently it’s struggling to be above 3.
