A fascinating old building in an interesting place. It is qwerky and not for those who like 4star bedrooms. We found our room clean and the bed comfortable. The real asset to the hotel is the bar and dining room. There is an open fire which on the dining room side is used to cook some meats. We have yet...

Our son lunched here enroute to the Alps. He recommended we stayed overnight to break our journey south. We were so disappointed. The accommodation was cramped, dirty and dark. We were kept awake by other noisy guests and the busy road . We paid the very expensive bill and left by 7am. A dreadful experience

We luckely stayd only one night in this hotel, having no other options to sleep. The rooms are old fashioned, dirty, including spider/dust webs and did not give us a comfortable feeling at all. The breakfast was very restricted and thus we would have preferred to eat elsewhere. All this at pricing levels which are not aligned with the quality...

This is an interesting hotel but it has seen better days, our room and bathroom were dated and a bit shabby, an automatic light came on when I turned over in bed and there seemed to be a boiler in the wall in the middle of the room which was noisy at intervals. The dinner was copious but not as...

Recommended by my brother as great location, but with rooms a bit basic - seemed about right. As travelling with children and staying for only one night, it was absolutely fine. Great to have secure parking with roofbox on car. Amazing medieval village well worth visiting

I should have known better: once I was living in a huge, transformed mill from ca. the year 1650. For anyone else who didn't have to live there, it was very romantic and exceptional. Only, if you live there, you notice the shortcomings, like minuscule windows and therefore permanent darkness, low ceilings as people tended to be much smaller in...

The warm welcome, amazing food (try the huge steaks - as in half a cow! - cooked to perfection on an open log fire), the centuries of history and tradition that pervade this most beautiful building (though the staff are a bit younger!) and exceptional value for money

This a special place, a museum to stay a night, the rooms are not modern but they are special, everything in this place is based on an old building, nothing is square but the place is unique and the choice of meat and the preparation at an opener place is fantastic don't miss a good steak from the grill! Order...

The rooms are full of character. We were a family travelling and our room had a four poster bed on one room and a double bed in the joining room, with two showers. We tried to have showers at 6am but unfortunately could not get hot water. The beds were comfortable as was the lounge area in the room. The...

An authentic hotel in a rustique village, in an old charming ambiance. If you choose to eat in the restaurant, which I recommend, start slowly because the food is delicious and/ but plenty. Real burgundian! Also a simply delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and baguette.
