Absolutely amazing 2 nights stay in Sörenberg. We have visited a lot of places in Switzerland and I would say that Sörenberg is underrated for holidays with kids. Ideal hiking trails, huuuuuuuge alpine playground Mooraculum, suspension bridge, scenic views, toboggan just in front of the hotel - paradise for holidays with kids (and without).

Rischli hotel was chosen because of special offer they had “Summer hit”. And I glad we did this choice from the very first moment. Free parking with lots of space. Maya welcomed us on the reception warmly and advised on where to go (thank you, Maya for that, it was great) We got a big room for 4 of us, it was spacious enough. However we were the only family with kids in the hotel during our stay.

Yes, it’s not the most modern hotel and not a new one, but very well maintained. Breakfast was unbeatable for 3-stars hotel. We had dinner as well and it was fantastic.

There is something special about the hotel. Something that you can not feel at big hotels. Irene und Willy (owners) are looking after you by themselves. They do there best to care. It was a great stay. Thank you

Although, its several miles away from Lucerne, the distance pays off with great scenic views from all sides of the hotel, the nice quite area provides a relaxing environment. The service was great from check-in to the restaurant. The rooms had great accommodations, despite not having air conditioning, the weather with the windows left open provide a comfortable stay. Although, the shower/restroom layout in the room seem to be a bit awkward with frosted doors, or a standing shower in one corner. Overall, well worth the stay!

Very friendly personnel, clean rooms with view on mountains, great food and a really exclusive breakfast buffet. After whole day hiking you can relax in a little spa. For children there is a playground near the hotel terasse. Dogs are welcome. Amazing was the Sörenberg Card, which allowes you using the cable cars in the region for free.

They have goats. Baby goats. How can you go wrong when you stay next to baby goats? Big room. Great shower. Good WiFi. No A/C but French doors open to let in mountain air. Very nice staff with a shoutout to Yvonne. Can accommodate English speakers easily. In the summer (June) gave me a complimentary pass for the gondola to the top of the mountains (saved 38 CHF). Would love to return some day.

I stayed here for 4 days and had a good impression. The hotel is small but warm and sweet. All the decoration were nice and lovely, especitaly the restaurant. All of my friends loved the food here. The local cheese they had was yum.

Gorgeous family run hotel in the mountains. Clean, modern with lovely touches. Breakfast buffet is excellent, with local cheeses, fresh speciality breads and fruit and Birchler Muesli. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent a nice weekend at Rischli in February this year. Most of the time we were skiing but when we were at the hotel we were very happy with our choice.
The moment you step in you can feel that the hotel is in good hands. The owner and his wife make sure that all guests feel very welcomed.

There are a lot of small decoration elements which makes the hotel even more stylish. It definately has a charm. The rooms are clean and stylish too.

You will like the rooms if you go there as a couple but for friends some of the rooms are not that much recommended because the one in which we stayed the bathroom part is completely visible from the bedroom part. Maybe there are differently arranged rooms as well.

The breakfast buffett is just amazing! You can find on it a lot of local products. It will be a perfect meal to start the day especially if you will do some sports. Nice selection of tea and fresh juices as well!

There is a small spa section but it would be nice to have a pool in the hotel. Still this place as well is highly recommended by me!

Ideal für Skiferien also.

A welcome sight after a very wet, uphill ride on our bikes all afternoon. The staff in this quiet ski resort were very pleased to see us as it was hardly the weather to be out in the mountains. After taking our clothes to the drying room we settled into our Standard room. But it was way above the standard we found on the rest of our trip around Switzerland. The room was very well maintained and with a modern decor. The twin beds were clean with a heavy duvet and pillow. There was a rather revealing shower cubicle in one corner and similar toilet/washroom in another.
The hotel offered a restaurant and coffee shop and there were spa facilities we could use. Owing to our limited budget we opted for the walk into Soenberg for a pizza though.
The breakfast was the best we found with mountains of fruit, cereal, rolls, meat, cheese, pasties, juices and coffee on offer. Just what you need before another day in the saddle!
