Take a look at the pictures I posted and you will see why. I was invited for a weekend and stayed only because it was already paid for but if you read this in advance RUN AWAY! The mold in the pillows and all over the bedroom is a healtlh hazardous. Nothing seemed to have been cleaned, ever! One of the bathrooms smelled terribly, only half of...

Stayed for 1 night. Payed 60 euros for 1 night breakfast included. The “Monte” is considered “Agroturismo” and you are in direct contact with nature. Facilities are rustic style. Close to the town of Grândola but definitely need a car to get there from the “Monte”. It’s 5 km away and the part of it close the “Monte” is through...

Stayed at Monte Cabeço de Ouro and the first impact wasnt good. The road leading to the Monte is just terrible, full of rocks and should be easier to park the car there. The Monte is in a beautiful location, the rooms are spacious but the furniture and the room itself really lacks a renovation. Everything is very old. Also,...
