A dream house nestled right at the top of Nainital. Take the road up from Manu Maharani towards the VIP area, and you find Prasada Bhawan, as the locals know it. We arrived at night and the house looked so pretty, like a dream. I went with my parents, parents in-law, younger sisters and my pet chihuahua. Mrs. Aleem greeted...

Dear Ma'am, thank you for staying with us this winter! You missed the full snowfall in Nainital by a day. Thank you for the review. Mrs Aleem

We dropped in for lunch on a sunny winter afternoon . We were seated in the beautiful lawns with a panoramic view of the Nainital hills. The roast chicken and salad were well made , suffused with pepper and herbs. As the sun moved shadows across the lawn we indulged in pancakes and filter coffee. A beautiful home that has...

On our 5 week trip round parts of northern India, including visiting Nainital where we previously were 20 years ago, our travel company booked us into Abbotsford. Thank goodness. Lovely people, fantastic location, very comfortable and large room in the old Colonial Style, excellent food and catering for all tastes (including wheat free). Affordable costs too. Recommend this Homestay to...

If you love nature, trees, flowers, green open spaces, history, heritage, homely warmth, hospitality &, delicious cuisine and are averse to traffic, crowds, structured resorts & hotels- Abbotsford is definitely the place to head to. I have been to Nainital a number of times before but stay at Abbotsford completely changed my perspective on this beautiful Hill Station...for the first...

Abbotsford is one of those places that you immediately fall in love with . It is cozy, personalized, away from the chaos of main Nainital but yet close enough to walk down to all the main attractions. I stayed here for 2 nights and saw and experienced Nainital like never before. Abbotsford itself is full of history and the owners...

As my cab chugged its way through the crowds i cursed myself for attempting a hill station in summer. Suddenly we went up a steep climb my cab offloaded me at a gate. Enchanted I felt i was back in Enid Blyton land - gabled roofs, grey stone the immediate feel was in an oasis of calm. The impression was...

I was there for 4 nights and wish i could stay there longer. It is a perfect getaway to unwind and enjoy the sleepy town on nainital, though it is no more sleepy. Abbotsford is tucked away from the main mall road of Nainital, that is the reason it becomes the perfect getaway for somebody like me. The views from...

I stayed at Abbotsford with my daughter for two nights. It is a cozy place tucked a little above Nainital. The cottage was built in 1876. It is now run as a homestay. I liked the food as it was simple and delicious. I asked for the local food one day and enjoyed it by the bonfire at dinner. I...

We, 9 adults, 2 kids and a dog visited Abbotsford to bid 2015 adieu, and to welcome 2016. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. There were walks, including to Cheena Peak, visits to the zoo, boating on the lake, bonfires each night, and much more besides. It brought back happy memories of the past. The folks at Abbotsford were warm and welcoming,...
