Stayed at the centrally located Hotel Marena for a couple of nights in a single bed room and was pleasantly surprised! Comfortable bed, and quite spacious. Nice clean bathroom and very nice photo art on the wall. A coffee machine (Dolce Gusto capsules) was also available, and the breakfast selection, though limited, was good as well. Excellent service from staff...

The Marena is a relatively small hotel located a few hundred meters from the harbour of Andenes where a lot of people go for the whale safaris. The building looks a bit dull, but the interior is quite modern and everything works as it should. Rooms are nice and functional, so are bathrooms. Breakfast is very nice and the selection...

Our room was small, but had a comfortable bed and was tastefully decorated. No toiletries, coffee / tea or glasses in the room and the tv was mounted so that you could not watch it from the bed. Free parking in an open lot across the road. Breakfast was a limited array of cold meats, cheeses and some cereal with...

Stayed there in January while in Andenes for a whale watching holiday. The hotel was excellent and all facilities were modern and new. It was situated a short walk from the harbour and was a perfect place to stay. Also a special mention for the staff who were helpful and friendly.

Very nice comfy, cosy hotel. The (single) room wasn't very big but the bed was comfortable and there was enough room for a desk with a chair and an armchair; plenty of room for me. The bathroom was lovely and had the added bonus of underfloor heating. Everything was spotlessly clean. The only down side is that, although there's somewhere...

We reserved a week at Hotel Marena in December/January as our launch pad for whale-watching and northern lights safaris. We honestly didn’t know what to expect in such a small town. But Hotel Marena was so comfortable (and the whales and lights so spectacular) that we extended our trip to a second week. And in all of our hotel/resort traveling,...

We were the only guests at the hotel during Christmas. Excellent, very friendly service (not always at the hotel but a phonenumber is available). We had room 307, which is nice and big enough, even though the curtains do not really block the light. In the middle of Andenes center, everything within walking distance.

The staff at Marena is really nice, helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and nice. The hotel is situated in the middle of the city center, in the main road near by everything. Every room has a nice photo of a local photographer.

Average hotel with small but clean rooms. Nice customer service. Free wifi, no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Average buffet breakfast offered in the small dinning room where it was difficult to navigate between tables placed very close one to another. Beds were too soft, two single joined together that created a hole in the middle. Th TV installed in...
