Australian travelers. Large apartment. Big full size kitchen. No actual beach views but it's a 30 second walk. No need to get the "beach front apartments" as none can see it! Save some bucks. Incredibly scenery.

This is a quaint shack perfectly located between the high cliffs and the raging West coast sea. It is the perfect place to switch off technology and reconnect with family and ones self. So many things to do around the area that we wished we stayed an extra night. Would highly recommend self catering as the tavern is the only...

Set in a small strip of land between the main road and the beach, these log-cabin style chalets are fine for short stays. Not luxury standard but more than adequate. Coin operated laundry room but no eating facilities, however these are just a few minutes drive away. Friendly, helpful owners. Car parking fine.

the cottage was very lovely and homey. it was quite large and had a full kitchen. the porch opened to the stairs that led to the beach. you had to walk a little to get to the beach, as there is rocks placed as a break for the ocean. it was a very short walk though and the beach was...

Stayed here one night to visit the amazing pancake rocks. Clean, comfortable and spacious accomodation for our family of five adults. Our bungalow was situated a few yards away from the sea wall and was amazingly quiet, given that on the other side of that wall the Tasman sea pounds away day and night. Local village pub just a short...

Booked this with not knowing much about it . was not disappointed . Very big space and if staying longer then over night would have been perfect as cooking and lounge etc. Water just a few meters away (over breakwater. ) did not realize how close to Pancake rocks it was .walking distance so drove (silly me ) over all...

We spent ten nights on New Zealand's west coast from Te Anau to Karamea in self catering accommodation. This unit was spacious with a double bed, single bed, couch and large screen tv. There was a comfortable dining table and kitchen with good working space. The kitchen had extras such as microwave dishes. The unit was particularly well appointed, though...

We stayed for 1 night in the two bedroom cottage which was located a short distance from the motel, close to the sea. Ideally situated for visiting the pancake rocks. The property was a little dated but spacious. The living room was comfortable with settee, table and chairs. Two separate bedrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped with an oven. The...

Stayed one night, and found the accommodations to be well-appointed. Our unit (#1) was a free-standing cabin facing the small sea wall. A few steps up the sea wall for beautiful views of the sea. The room offered basic furnishings, but more than covered our needs for the one night. Located an easy walk from Punakaiki cafe and coffee bar...
