Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

The hotel is pretty OK for the price. Most people come here to visit nearby towns/attractions and want to stay in a central location, for which Neum is ideal. Everyone in the hotel is very kind to guests. I have to say that the maids didn't do a great job for the 8 days we stayed in the hotel. No cleaning whatsoever, and they didn't change the bed linen for 7 days, we had to go to the reception desk to ask for a replacement. Breakfast quite modest, no toast, no fruit, no water, one type of jam, one type of cheese, no butter (just margarine). The hotel doesn't have a private beach, and to get to the beach you have to go down a long flight of stairs. Sunbeds and parasols are charged 4€ per piece. You also have to pay 0.25€ to user the shower.

We had a great time in Adria. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The worst thing about the hotel is all the stairs up from the beach, but other than that it's great. The breakfast was basic but good and the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing!

The room we stayed was small although the size of the bathroom was ok. The balcony views were nice. The breakfast and dinner were average. As the dining room was pretty small compared to the number of groups that they hosted, they were having difficulties to serve dinner to all of them, so they forced us to have dinner at a certain time and to sit only in certain tables away from the windows and not in the best part of the dining room while the dinner lasted only 45 minutes!!! After that they cleaned up the tables and the following group which was waiting outside could come in but even if there was no other group at the end of the day for example at 21:15 they took the plates from the table and the buffet disappeared (the buffet was available only for 45 minutes). The choice of the food was limited and the food itself was average. The same applies for the breakfast. In the room, some towels and bedsheets were old and small for the bed (so during the night the sheets would move around and fall out of the bed). The single beds were rather narrow. They forgot to put new soap in the room every day. The distance to the sea is not too long but as the hotel is located uphills, you need to climb many stairs to reach it from the seaside. The personnel esp in the reception speaks limited English so the communication has not been easy.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The price was 110 euros per night including breakfast and dinner. We got a 1 bedroom apartment with a nice view on the 3rd floor. The apartment was somewhat clean, bathroom was out of hand soap, shampoo and towels. We received 2 towels for the four of us, when we asked for more towels they said that they only come thru once to give customers towels. Breakfast and dinner was good, friendly waiters. The walk to the beach was a disaster, if you have bad knees or issues with walking do not stay here... too many stairs to go up and down. A washing machine would be very helpful in this apartment we had.

If you are visiting Neum, please stay away from this hotel. The hotel is old, out-fashioned, the staff is rude, but above all this hotel lacks hygiene. Everything is dirty in the room: sheets, carpet, curtains, everything! The bath tab was clogged with hair, there were trash on the floor in our room, and dead insects in the lamp above our beds. Definitely a stay-away hotel...

Booked via booking.com for our drive back to the airport. Neum is quiet but beautiful. Hotel does what it says on the advert. We booked a room with a view of the sea , quite a large balcony, enough for four people. Large bed, with plenty of linen and pillows. Everything very clean and tidy. Free Wifi, although it was a bit unreliable. Breakfast was typical Bosnian breakfast, bread, Med and jams, cheeses , cold meat and hot eggs and hotdog type sausages. Coffee and tea was disappointing as they were out of a machine, poor quality. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke several langauges. Wouldn't want to stay for a week as it was noisey at times. Perfect for what we required.

I am a guide and three times I`ve had groups in the Adria Hotel. Every time there was unpleasant surprise: the first time the whole group had to live in apartments 3 km away the second time I had to put clients on matrimonial bed (5 this kind of rooms) the third time, 2 rooms were accommodated in 1 km away the hotel Every time I had in my rooming list - room with the view for the wall (see the fotos) - the agency had to pay for it - it wasn`t freę !!! When I didn`t want to pay for this room - the staff from the reception threaten me unpleasant consequences .... Omitting the fact that the hotel is not suitable for vacation, the owner and staff are cheating customers, they are very rude and unpleasant. So it is your own decision if you want to be cheated ...
