The place is lovely and serene, good for quiet holiday. Staff are professional, friendly. The property has apartments of with different number of rooms depending on what one prefers. One can also do self catering or use the restaurant. Staff offer free wind surfing and kayaking lessons. I had a blast and will definitely return
Super clean, amazing setting, wonderful staff, big grounds, my review is based on value for money staying at one of the private apartments in the hotel. I think I would lower a star if I was staying at one of the hotel rooms (which are pretty much the same as the private apartments) as the reception abs indoor restaurants are not up to a luxury standard but the pools abs and outdoor restaurants are stunning. Would definitely return.
We stayed at Medina Palms in beginning of December. We felt welcomed and appreciated the second we walked through the door. The property looks amazing with access to the white sand beach. The dinner was delicious, only wish we stayed longer so we'd have time to go through the whole menu! :D They had a kids club for our son to enjoy. But I'll have to say the thing that made the place top notch was the staff. From Martha always greeting us with a smile to the football banter with Mike at the bar. And again, the chef made sure our bellies were so satisfied and full that we didn't get to try out any of the desserts ;) We'll be back again,Medina. Asanta Sana!
Medina has a great reputation and I looked forward to staying here. Overall, I agree with all comments about great staff, beautiful mix of gardens (and gorgeous 🦎) around the pool area and relaxing atmosphere. However, it’s some of the small things that would determine whether I would come back at full season pricing (which is twice what I am currently paying). Our delightful room had major plumbing issues (basic toilet flushing and lack of hot showers) that weren’t fixed despite reporting it. To be fair it’s a bit tricky during Covid to navigate when to have people come in the room - would’ve just been better that they ensure plumbing is working before guests are put in a room. The breakfast is a bit unimaginative for a high end hotel and led me to not explore other meals preferring instead to go elsewhere given good range of alternatives nearby. In summary- it’s great at low season prices but I would question value for money otherwise.…
I could recommend the medina palms to everybody. They have the most beautiful appartements. Very white, clean. The pools go on forever, set in a tropical garden. The restaurant serves great food, lots of options But the most important, they have a great staff. From reception, to bartenders, in the restaurant or housekeeping everybody is so friendly. Even know in corona times with a few visitors they make you feel at home.
