I took my family on an Africa trip for the month of March with TWENDE DEVELOPMENT and TRAVEL. The Itinerary took us here first to acclimatize for a few days (I strongly recommend to do this if from North America). Staff was amazing. Meals were great. Rooms are decent. Bathrooms & Showers aren't the greatest. Pool side and Beach was perfect to chill and explore a little. Massage was amazing and I booked an hour session each day we were there. Very safe for kids as Security & Masai Warriors were always visible. If we needed anything, we asked DAN at TWENDE DEVELOPMENT & TRAVEL and he made it happen.

We're back once again at Turtle Bay after a 5-year break, and we were slightly apprehensive that the pandemic would've taken its toll on this lovely place. However, against all odds, they have managed to keep the charm the hotel always had. As many others have said, the staff make this stay special. Not just the staff we've seen many times before, but the trainees who are currently gaining valuable experience and doing a fantastic job. If you're looking for a break on a beautiful piece of coastline, with plenty to do, see, eat, drink, and buy, you'll not be disappointed. The all inclusive is a very good deal,they are generous with bottled water in the rooms and that is a huge plus.The extended check out was awesome,it was a pleasant surprise.The children are very happy maybe a little more indulgence at the kids park to keep various age groups engaged.Overall they score way up as a facility.I am definitely going back to turtle bay.

Once more back to our much loved Turtle Bay Beach Club in Watamu, Kenya. My wife and I have speny many happ years in this hotel with all our friends (known as staff ). There is so much to see and do in this area of Kenya and TBBC is the perfect place to start. You will find the people here, both in the hotel and the locals outside, very friendly and welcoming. It is a very safe are with some great places to eat out. The seafood here is particularly good with prices just great. Getting here is easy, check out Kenya Airways or Ethiopian Airways.

After a gap of 10 years my wife and I decided to go back to TBBC , we were a bit apprehensive after reding some poor reviews on Trip Advisor but after just a few minutes we felt so at home and made very welcome , this is down to the staff that we met Ratabu,Masha, Khamish and Kedenge to name but a few but the one who stands out the most was Trainee Kombe , even though he has been at TBBC for less than a year he has the ethos of TBBC that we remembered from our previous 3 visits. He is the main reason that we have booked again to come with our son and his partner in September and we hope that Kombe will still be there. I have not stayed at Turtle Bay for 5 years but it is still an excellent place and superb value for money. Do not be put off by the poor comments. The management and staff are excellent and eager to rectify any problems. The rooms are a bit tired but the beds are comfortable and very clean. The food is excellent and there are choices to suit all needs. The pools are excellent and Derick and his staff maintain high standards. The gardens look better to me than they were before. The sunbed allocation system works well when people realise how it works. The views of the beach are lovely and a pleasure to see every day. Well done to you all.

I brought the kids as a solo parent expecting a kid-friendly experience. All travelers should be aware that the bar plays very loud music every evening between 9/9:30 and midnight. This was so loud that noise cancelling ear phones do not work. When I asked about this after the first night, they stated that yes there is music but I could call and ask the DJ to turn it down. The second night, I did this, and while they did turn it down after repeated requests, they almost immediately turned it back up. The solution they offered was for me to pack up my sleeping kids and belongings at 10:30 pm to move myself elsewhere in the hotel. Travelers should just be wary that they could be sleeping next to a very loud bar every evening between 9 and midnight. The manager on duty at the time…
