Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Hotel Byzantinon was a great experience, both aesthetic and practical one! The room was beautiful and spacious! Additionally, the view from our balcony was unforgattable! The owners were very gentle and they gave us many excellent tips for eating and touring and also they offered us a tasty breakfast!

We were here for a second time on a climbing trip and happy to see the hotel is better than ever. As other reviewers have said Christos and his staff go way beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Truly a unique and special venue to enjoy climbing, beaching and hiking. We will be back ASAP

This was a suggestion hotel, and we had no expectations of what we would get. It was frankly the best hotel we have stayed in for a while. It's near one of the best beaches we have been on, the staff are epic and so so helpful. It's one of the best, and we ll be back. PS Check out the breakfast. it's so nice and homely

There is available fully equiped kitchen where you may cook From the balcony the view to the sea and the slopes of Parnonas is amazingThe breakfast is 100% handmade with local delicacies! The hotel has also parking in the ground floor. The personnel is very generous.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet street in the little village of Poulithra and only a short walk from the coast where you can find nice restaurants. The car can be parked in a garage or outside. Both the owner - who speaks excellent English - and his family were very friendly and helpful. We were given a large room with a balcony and a view of the sea. There was a kitchen in the room and a big freezer combination. The bed was comfortable, the aircon worked efficiently. The bathroom was also OK. The only problem we encountered was the sporadic and slow Wi-Fi signal; the owner told us that he would have it improved. Breakfast was served on a little terrace and was of nice quality. Considering the price performance ratio booking the Byzantinon is a good deal, and we would choose the hotel again if in the area.

This hotel is a real family affair. Started by the father, George, it’s now run primarily by Christos, his son, but his Mum & Dad are on hand when Christos has to go to Athens. They could not be more welcoming! And there’s nothing that George likes better than regaling you with his stories 😉 Our room was really spacious, more like an aparthotel, with an excellent kitchen area & full size fridge. Wonderfully comfortable bed, plus a side balcony with a direct view of the sea. We spent a very relaxing day on the beach - only 200 metres from the hotel - & followed it with a truly delicious meal at the recommended local restaurant, Myrtoon. Breakfast the following day is prepared freshly by Christos’s Mum. Nothing is too much trouble for their guests. Lovely!

We visited the hotel "Byzantinon" with my wife in October 2019 - we liked the Hotel a lot. We felt quite comfortable with the hospitality from the owner and the staff, cleanliness, and services were in high standards. I found the facility quite comfortable offering exactly what was mentioned on the web either related to the infrastructure or to the geography. Certainly, a place to trust. The staff was warm and friendly, willing to help us with any query or demand. The landscape is perfect for summertime which is typically the high season, but I would definitely recommend off-season escapes in autumn or spring, which can be really refreshing for people having a daily demanding and tight business profile. The Hotel and the landscape can certainly give you that.

We stayed for three nights at this excellent hotel. On arrival we were met by Vasiliki who instantly offered us a cooling drink in the heat we were experiencing. Our room was a apartment which had a separate bedroom, was very modern with everything we needed including air-con, which was well used. The bed was comfortable, spacious bathroom and the bedroom also had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The kitchen section again was fully equiped with a good sized fridge-freezer and everything you would need to make a meal if you wished. We were lucky in being given a room with a balcony which had a fabulous view looking out to sea and mountains to the right. The breakfast selection had offerings of eggs, pastries, cereals, fruit and much more. This could be taken either on the front terrace or inside in the reception area. This was usually the time the friendly George came to check on his visitors to ensure all was well. Parking, you had a choice of out on the road or under the hotel which I chose to do, if I remember there was enough room for five cars. The location is just a 4 minute walk to the beach and a little further to a selection of Taverna's. The hotel is located in a very quite area, which is good for peace and relaxation if required. Highly recommened.
