We have stayed here 5 times before and every time has been wonderful. This time we had the double ensuite room. It was beautiful, with lovely views over the garden from a side window and views from the front of the house from the other window. The food, as always was amazing! Over the time we have been visiting the...

It has struck me as unfortunate that there are not more vegetarian restaurants and B&Bs in France. Even if La Maison du Vert stands out as perhaps the only one of its kind in this important region in France, it still excels in the level of care extended to its guests. From our arrival until our departure, the hostess, Debbie,...

Now officially my favourite vegan restaurant in France, after 2 visits last month. Once was definitely not enough and we after our first meal here we knew we had to come again before we left France. Best vegan food I think I've ever tasted, and I've been to a lot of lovely vegetarian restaurants. A must go destination if you're...

Fabulous evening at this gem of a restaurant. Amazing food to please the vegetarian/vegans, but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed as well. Service was very good, not rushed and provided a very relaxed atmosphere. We started dinner inside then moved to an outside table for dessert and coffee. All of this was no trouble and was well priced. Highly rated and...

La Maison du Vert had an amazing garden located on a sloping hillside with many different layers and sections. A really picturesque place to stop for our afternoon tea. The service was friendly and welcoming. The homemade drinks were refreshing and the cakes were delicious. We can highly recommend this place and are looking forward to returning on it next...

We had a veggie lunch at la Maison du Vert last Saturday. The atmosphere was welcoming. The pleasant dining room had a peaceful feel. The girls serving were of different nationalities but spoke good French and were polite and efficient. The home-grown food was delicious, varied and beautifully presented. The drinks were equally satisfying. From the window you could see the...

We stayed in the little white cottage for a few nights for a complete break away from it all. Very peaceful spot, our kids loved the gardens (over 6 acres!) and were free to roam and play. They loved the animals including the many friendly cats. The food was delicious and made such a welcome break from the many galettes/crepes...

Having struggled for years to get ANY vegetarian food in France that wasn't a lardons omelette ( no kidding) it was with great enthusiasm that I embraced the opportunity to discover this gem nestling in the lush Normandy landscape. Be warned: Ticheville is off the beaten track, and the village boasts not much at all apart from the church and...

I can't say enough about our stay at La Maison du Vert. For city dwellers like us, it was such an incredibly beautiful, restful, peaceful place. The gardens around the buildings are just gorgeous, and an unexpected bonus was getting to meet several of their many friendly cats, chickens and turkeys. Our room was pleasant, clean and comfortable, with fresh...

“We stayed in the cottage, which gave us space and flexibility as a family. It is an historic building and did smell a bit musty, but we just opened all the windows and it wasn't a problem. We looked at one one of the hotel rooms, which was lovely and perfect for a romantic break.”
