Suntisook doesn't pretend to be a luxury resort. If you want that, there are plenty of options on the island at at luxury prices. At Suntisook it is all about a friendly atmosphere, clean, comfortable accommodation and good service. Breakfast (included in the price) is plentiful and delicious (fresh fruit, cereal. yogurt, eggs, chicken, sausages, pancakes, bread, toast, teas, coffee etc) It set us up for the whole day until we had equally delicious thai dinner there most nights. The fruit smoothies we had to cool us during the day were to die for.
The chalets (sooks) are set in a nice shaded garden overlooking the beach and islands of the bay beyond. Air-con and a good fan kept us cool and the room was cleaned daily, with bedding and towels replaced every two days.

The owners and staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

For the price, we felt we got great value.

All in all a lovely stay in a beautiful and relaxing setting.

Thoroughly recommended.

Very classy and comfortable bungalows, with a wide terrace equipped to spend a great time (seating area, hammoc, fan, anti mosquito spiral,). Seeing all the attention given to details, you can see that the owners put their brain and heart to run this place for the best of its customers.
Very tasty and healthy food at the restaurant, including breakfast with fresh mangos.
As far as the island is concerned, I loved the quietness and marvelous landscape. Just be aware that it’s not the best place for a swim (shallow and trouble water). I recommend the Suntisok warmly.

Family run and very friendly hosts; they organised for us to charter a boat to go out to Hong and other islands, this was such an amazing experience and for a far cheaper price than it would have been from Ao nang where we were previously.
Bungalows are in a lovely quiet location, cost 100tb per adult to get a taxi from the pier.
Beautiful and comfortable bungalow with aircon.
Excellent breakfast selection. Evening restaurant meals were really nice and well priced. They do not sell alcohol but there is a small beach bar just a few minutes walk away, or they are happy for you to bring your own to the restaurant.

Like many of the other reviews have said this is an excellent place to stay on the island. Clean and beautifully well kept. They are a step up from the regular bamboo type huts that you find around the islands. Lovely breakfast and excellent value for money. If coming back to the island, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Suntisook is a great jumping off point for the island. The bungalows are cute and efficient with beautiful views. The owner made us feel like part of his family, helping with whatever we needed. We would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay.

We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. We had a warm welcome from the family who run this resort. Nothing was too much trouble; organising boat trips, scooter hire or just responding to requests. The resort grounds are beautiful, bungalows well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant served excellent food, in our opinion the best in the area. Our host was delightful with a great sense of humour.

Family run, this guest house stands out in our memories of our holiday in Phuket. What a lovely warm greeting we received. Choi was so helpful (sorry I hope I have spelt your name correctly) and we soon felt as if we had been there for a long time, such was our comfort! We slept well in our comfortable bungalow, with a wide balcony where we could lie about in the heat in the seating/lying about with a hammock. Clearly, much thought and care have gone into running this place for the best of its guests.
Very tasty and healthy food - we especially loved breakfast with fresh mangos.
We really enjoyed Ko Yao Noi, the quietness and spectacular landscape. I recommend the Suntisok warmly.

The place is amazing. The family that runs it is so kind and helpful that I truly miss them! And the food... the food was the best we tried all around Thailand. I cry when I think of all those curries, thai teas and mangoes with sticky rice.
I would repeat. No doubt.

It's hard to write this review, as we never had humiliating experience. We reserved a big two bedroom hut in advance. When we arrived we met E, a very nice guy who is the son of the owners. He showed us to our room which was beautiful, clean & all we needed, but was behind the owner's house, so the view of the beach was blocked & all you can look at from the room is the messy junk in their back yard. We asked if there is a similar room with open view to the beach & were taken to see one which was more expensive since it had AC, but was on the Road separating the resort from the beach. E was very nice & told us: since it's your first time on this island & you have kids maybe you can take a taxi or bike & drive around to see other places that would suit your family better , & if you find something else you like it's OK with us.
We were surprised & amazed by the unusual
suggestion. We were tiered from the journey & asked to stay the night & go looking around in the morning.
In the morning we rented a car & drove around the island. We were asked by E to let him know until 12:00 which we did. Our decision was to stay as all the in our budget places were either far from the beach or had very simple rooms, & we already had a good feeling about staying in Santisuk. After telling E that we happily wish to stay the whole seven nights we reserved, he said: my Mom took a booking & the room is no longer available for you. Shocked,.we tried to understand what happened & after o long time of asking how can this be,finally E said: to tell you the truth, my Mom & sister don't want you here & you have to leave.
Humiliated, hurt & confused we packed & left to a neighboring resort.
I can see all the good reviews & understand Why people would like this resort, as the rooms are very nice & luxurious, the food is good... but we were never treated like this which makes it difficult to say that the people who own the place are nice, though they seem nice, but only if they like you, otherwise you might get kicked out.
