We stayed as a family of 4 in the Rice Field Villa and had the most wonderful time. This beautiful villa is set over 2 levels with a fully functional kitchen down stairs and the 2 sleeping areas upstairs. There are 2 living spaces and 2 bathrooms. It has a shared pool with another villa but for most of our stay it was empty so we had the pool to ourselves. There is no air conditioning however plenty of portable fans throughout the place which we made good use of! The villa looks over a couple of fields that had a few cows in it and the occasional Thai person. Other than that we were surrounded by a peaceful garden, chirping birds, croaking frogs and the occasional motorcycle zipping passed. The restaurant, reception and beach were a 300m walk down an unsealed palm lined track. All the staff were very welcoming and unobtrusive really allowing you to escape. The closest restaurants, minimart style shop and ATM from the resort can be reached by beach at low tide or along the road in 10 - 15 minutes on foot, or you can organise bike hire or taxi through reception. Laundry service is offered however you can also use services near the minimart area for cheaper. We borrowed bicycles for rides into town to buy groceries for breakfast and lunch as well as beer - the island has a strong Muslim community so some of the shops and restaurants do not serve alcohol. We used the resorts private transfer from the airport when we arrived as we had just come off a night flight. It was very easy! We opted for tuk tuk and public boat on the way back to Phuket and this was equally as easy. We truly enjoyed our stay at Koyao Bay Pavillions. It is a fabulous escape from the craziness that some of the Thai Islands have become. Highly recommended for a true retreat!

On our first trip to Thailand we were recommended the Koyao Bay Pavilions by friends in Bangkok. We were not disappointed! We had a beautiful suite just a few metres from the beachfront and the pool. Our room was large, well designed and had a great outside bathroom and “sala” area overlooking the beach with loungers and day beds to relax with a drink. The friendly KBP team were on hand to organise excursions, massages and recommend restaurants. The resort’s cuisine was also excellent. We enjoyed the charm and quiet of Koh Yao Noi which is laid back and still pretty rural. The boat excursions were excellent value, particularly to the north of the island, with stunning scenery and few other tourists. Hard to leave but hope to return soon!

We rented 2 out of 3 beach villas around a private pool. Beautifullly built as in photo, open to the prevailing breezes -each villa had a large sala - an outdoor pavillon with sofas, hammocks; armchairs etc for perfect relaxation. Here we were offered a complimentary massage each day which was professional and beneficial.
Outdoor bathrooms were a pleasant surprise and large cleaning teams waited until we had gone to breakfast before they thoroughly cleaned the large inside and outside areas. Very discreet!
Meals were great and it was possible to order almost anything if it was not on the menu.
The island itself has very little to offer, but if tranquillity is what you are seeking, this is the place.

LITERALLY AMAZING! Outlived my expectations (but that might be because my husband booked the Pavillions! So I’d done less scoping!)
The Accomodation is expansive. Huge bedrooms, two bathrooms and a full kitchen in our Maipai cottage as well as a separate veranda/pavilion with hammocks, a huge table, two seating areas overlooking a lovely pool shared with one other cottage. George and Bea were so helpful and arranged a tour for us and were on hand for lots of advice. A little walk to the restaurants and bars on the nearby beach or up on the road, would probably be no trouble without kids or older than ours (11&8) Taxis are readily available as long as you know where you want to go. Best bet would be mopeds or bikes which you can hire from the hotel. The bread at Breakfast felt like I was cheating in Asia. SOOOO good. The on-site restaurant was fabulous but there are also lots of other great places to eat on the island which is extremely peaceful and stunning. Much less party and more authentic island life.

We had an incredible 5 nights here over Christmas 2023 with George and his wife Bee. We stayed in 'Mai Pai Cottage' which was perfect for our family. We have three teenager children and the space was incredible. The location is pure bliss and quite a treat following the rigours of Bangkok for 5 days.
An unassuming entrance that just keeps giving at every turn. You can choose to be in you cottage which is nestled in lush green surroundings which provided shade where needed from the sun and a swimming pool that felt was exclusively ours to use, or you can walk the short distance to your private beach which had the most incredible views of Koh Nok and beyond. The location was paradise and is honestly the best accommodation we have ever stayed and we have travelled to many places in the world. Although slightly more expensive than our usual budget this was well worth it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warmth and smiles which felt genuine. The restaurant was amazing and the food was incredible that in my view would suit any pallet. George and bee paid particular attention to all our needs and nothing was difficult to arrange from Taxi's, Bike hire or use of the Kayaks to paddle to Koh Nok on Christmas day.

We hired bikes for the day and I have to say Koh Yao Noi is an incredibly beautiful island which we fell in love with and particularly enjoyed more than other islands we visited on this trip.

I cannot rate this place highly enough and would definitely visit again.

Thank you George and Bee

We stayed in a private villa, which for four person was perfect. The villa was beautiful, well furnished.
Great pool area and private beach. Where you can use Kayak and reach Koh Nok (a small but amazing Island)

The Restaurant, is specialized in Thai / Mediterranean cuisine. Food was incredibly delicious and the Restaurant/ Kitchen Staff were super friendly and professional.
A massive shout out to George & Bee who went the extra mile with every little detail. Great advice on what to explore and we enjoyed great dinners in their company.

We look forward to returning.

We spent a wonderful week at this gorgeous place. The beach villas are perfectly designed and offer the highest comfort. The living room is actually open air and offers various sitting and lying possibilities, only a few meters from the beach. Also it is like all the beaches in Thailand a public one, you will hardly come across another person. From there you can paddle with the kayak to the amazing tiny island Koh Nok.
Last but not least it was the lovely staff who made our stay even more precious. Georges, Bee and their team are just perfect hosts. I have also to mention the excellent restaurant, which offers a very good selection at a very fair price. Even the prices of the wine list are not demanding at all.
We will be back for sure.

This place was amazing, from start to finish it was a little piece of paradise.
George, Bee and the team were so welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, we were so looked after.
The Tarra villa we stayed in was perfect, including the pool, cleanliness and location ( a little walk from restaurant and beach, and very secluded).
Food was amazing, catering both for Thai and western tastes to high quality.
We were sad to leave and hope to return one day.
If you are looking for peace and tranquility in an authentic Thai location, I would highly recommend.

We originally booked 3 nights but extended as we we didn’t want to leave!
George was so lovely , welcoming & helpful.
Stunning villa and grounds, great location to explore the island. Beautiful beach and we loved Koh Yai Noi.
We rented scooters for our stay which George sorted for us and were delivered to our villa. Nothing was a hassle. Highly reccomend this place if you’re wanting a relaxing stay on this beautiful island in pure paradise!

Hi how to get here from Krabi airport and is it far from Ao Nang?
Answer from KBP K

Hello Sharmela B, Thank you for your message, it would be our pleasure to welcome you here! To get to Koyao Bay Pavilions from Krabi, you must either go to Ao Thalane Pier, where the boats leave every hour, last boat at 17:30. Or you can get a boat from Ao Nang, the time of this boat from Ao Nang changes quite often and there is only one per day at this time of year. The boat from Ao Nang takes 45 minutes. It will either leave at 9:00, 11:00 or 15:00. Normally in high season they have 3 times per day. Please contact us directly through our website for more information. We look forward to welcoming you here. Kind regards, Koyao Bay Pavilions Family

Dear Pockygoes, Some rooms have aircon, others don't have. On our website it's all explained. When we started this resort I did not want to install aircon at all, for many reasons, the main one being that it is not necessary at all : nights are fresh and our location is breezy. During the day, if feeling too hot, a quick cold shower helps more than aircon. Another important reason is that, as you might know, the electrical consumption of electric energy for aircon only in the US is higher that the consumption of electricity in the whole African continent.
