Just stayed for one night with friends, the place was buzzing. Very popular so book ahead for a table for a meal. Freshly cooked food, good beer, comfortable rooms. The only thing that I am not keen on is the overhead shower but that is just a matter of choice.

Very nice, smart (new?) rooms at the back. Lively bar with great food. Dinner service was very good - great menu. Right in the centre of a beautiful village. We stayed there on a coast to coast bike ride.

Avoid room 5. It has no windows. In order to get light in,my out have to open the doors to the en suite wet room, which has a heated towel rail which can't be switched off. It would have been like sleeping in an airing cupboard. Fortunately we got ourselves moved to a double
