Bordi is a small beach town with little good hotels. However the beach is unadulterated, clean and very sparsely populated. One can enjoy lonely there. The resort is a huge property, but need makeover. Its old and nedds revamp immediately. Food was awesum. Services were good. The resort houses n number of Chikoo/Sapato trees. One can enjoy farm fresh sapotas...

I stayed here for a night with friends, and deeply regret the decision. There are frequent power cuts while the property is a very sub-standard one. The location is right on the beach, but then the beach itself is nothing to boast about. Filthy waters. The restaurant serves bad food.

I highly recommend the beach huts which offer an unrestricted view of the beach and yes, they are bang on the beach. The property is not a luxury property and expect to be at the receiving end of power cuts, water shortage and average food. Location is the only thing that has this place going. For food, you can pop...

My wife and I spent her birthday last year at MTDC's beach resort in Bordi near the Maharashtra Gujarat border. The only reason I booked at this resort was the attraction of AC-equipped tents near the beach, and the closeness to Mumbai since we couldn't be away for many days. And sadly, those are about the only attractions at this...

The MTDC Resort is the only resort on the sea-side and has huts on the beach-side. The beach is a perfect weekend getaway from Mumbai and really a stress-breaker. ;) The service and other facilities are comparable to any of the best MTDC Resorts though availability can be a problem on weekends. So, book in advance for enjoying the beach.

Bordi is a small hamlet with couple of resorts and a beach having black sand ... the sepciality about the beach would be the amazing distance the sea recedes back during evening ... The beach is very wide. Most times you might walk 500m before you reach the water. One would literally see no water till horizon. The bad news...

This small cozy place tucked away in Bordi, a corner of coastal North Maharashtra towards Gujarat, has a different charm. Drive from Mumbai is a comfortable 3 hours max. Turn left after about 2 kms from Charoti toll-naka towards Dahanu. After Dahanu, continue on the road parallel to the seashore and you’ll be here after another 16 kms of pleasant...

My stay at this property in the Summer of 2009 was so comfortable and cherishing, that I returned two years later this June only to be thoroughly disappointed! This property of MTDC, which was one of their best kept ones in the State, appeared to have not had any maintenance done in recent years. The building with regular rooms was...
