Was visiting a friend in Lens and booked late so I had to find accommodations outside the city. After looking at reviews decided to try Aux Trois Maillets. If you want some country feel then this is the place. Easily accessible to all of the surrounding areas, very comfortable rooms with all the amenities and wonderful hosts. It was a...

We booked Aux Trois Mallets after reading previous Tripadvisor reviews and it certainly lived up to its reputation. We stayed in the Turquoise room (which the owners had already kindly changed from a twin to a double following prior arrangement by email); a large room overlooking the back garden. The whole house was beautifully clean and cared for. The owners...

I read the review before booking this gem and wondered if it really was as good as it sounds. Well it is even better than I imagined! We stayed four nights and had such a good time. After booking the evening meal on the first night we booked for the other evenings as well. No restaurant was going to better...

Beautifully decorated and well-equipped rooms, an excellent dinner with wine, a sumptuous breakfast with 13 varieties of home made jam - all inclusive! M et Mme Tinot were perfect hosts. If only we could have stayed longer! Angres is not the prettiest town but is very well-located if, like us, you wanted to visit both Arras (the tunnels of the...

Breakfast is a very generous and varied selection of homemade breads, crepes, French toast and pastries, served with a large variety of the most tasty homemade jams.also delicious fromage blanc. Everything is made by Ysabelle herself. If...

Four of us stayed here just for one night in December. Having read the previous reviews, we hoped that Aux Trois Maillets was going to be open immediately after Christmas and a query sent through their website brought a swift and positive response. All of the arrangements for our stay were made seamlessly through email and Ysabelle sent directions and...

A wonderful warm welcome from the hosts. We stayed in the Pierre du Lys room - which was not a room, more like a suite! A large double bed and single bed in the main room, with a separate toilet and a very large bathroom with shower and 2 wash basins - not forgetting the two bathrobes! We were lucky...

This would be a perfect spot to stay if you were exploring the WW1 sites in Northern France or like us passing through France on the way to Germany. Don't be put off by the exterior of Aux Trois Maillets. There are a few weeds and a bit of dog and hen poo in the garden but inside the house...
