Honestly couldn't ask for a better place to get away from it all. My wife and I came here for a midweek stay in the old Bakehouse. The cottage was lovely as was the welcome. The hot tub was brilliant after walking through the local countryside. Everything was well within walking distance and the local area is beautiful with possibly...

Myself and 5 friends came for the weekend and stayed in the farm house. The staff we met were really friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great, we really enjoyed relaxing in it. It was only open till 9:30pm though and we would have preferred to have a few more hours in it. The house itself was clean and...

My 13yr old daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights in one of their pods in August, This was our first camping trip together and we had an amazing time. Julie and Stephen were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Their campsite is gorgeous and incredibly well maintained. The field that we were in was...

We booked in advance earlier this year to stay at Dairy Maids cottage for 3 persons (2 adults and a child age 6). On arrival, we were greeted in a friendly manner and shown to our cottage. Very clean and immaculate. Two bedrooms with super king beds. Everything worked in the kitchen and whole place was homely. You also have...

We just got back from a weeks camping at Shepherds view (May/June 2016) This was one of the best campsites we've stayed on. Pitches are large and easily accommodated our 8 berth tent, people carrier and the fire pit provided on site. Facilities are clean and modern. The dog walking field is a great idea. Steve and Julie are warm...

We stayed for several nights and were joined by friends and family so total group ended up being around 14 people and 4 dogs. Very clean site with great facilities. 10 minute walk to the beach and a further 15 min walk to seascale where a corner shop can be found. The owners of the site couldn't do enough to...

Booked a tent pitch with a fire pit for £15 a night. I wasnt expecting much for that price but I the site is excellent, very well maintained. Your are greeted at the superb reception area by the owners who ensure you have everything you need, including kindling, firelighters and logs for a small sum. Outside they have covered washing...
