We were met by the delightful Benedicte who showed us the very steep steps, past posters describing all the agricultural equipment you could think of and more to our bedroom. There's stuff everywhere but up its so homely and welcoming. Our room was fine for our one night with separate toilet from the en suite. We'd booked ahead for dinner,... More

It's quircky and a real farm. Reception friendly. Room ok (we especially appreciated the fact that the toilets are not in the (en suite) bathroom but separate). No protein whatsoever for breakfast, only sweet stuff (but home made).

My parents and I went to this gite a couple of weeks ago en route to D Day celebrations. As we arrived from the Eurotunnel fairly late, we were offered an evening meal for €16 which included homebrewed cider, cheese and further 3 courses. I would highly recommend this as we were treated like family. It seems to be a... More

A lovely old Normandy farmhouse, Benedicte and Jean Luc are very engaging hosts and one does feel that one is on a real working farm. It's very quiet at the end of an unpaved road, but only about 25 minutes from Rouen by car. Breakfast is included in the price and our room was quite comfortable and the shower was... More

It is really a good alternative from the busy city life.. so peaceful and quiet in the small farm. Being from Singapore, it is really fun to see the rural area where the cow, chicken, goose hang loose.. Really interesting to hear the mooing of the cows early in the morning. Not to forget the small little cute chihuahua that... More

I wanted to stay somewhere French not just a french form of travelodge and I could not have chosen better. What a fantastic place-very rural and very French. Benedicte greeted us on arrival and spoke very clearly in French that I could understand easily. we had booked the evening meal and were taken in almost immediately to sit with other... More

We discovered this gem in May and have been returning ever since for our wekends. Great location close to Rouen, claude Monet gardens, etretat and many other sights. We always tahe the rose room that is very romantic and cute. Do not expect luxury but for the 42EUR/2p/night+breakfast it is definitely great. The owners are very kind and helped us... More

A lovely farmhouse in the middle of nowhere! Very peaceful. Our room was a little bit random, decorated in yellow with ladybirds everywhere. However, what an experience, we had the evening meal which was lovely home cooked french food we otherwise would not have tried. Breakfast was also lovely on the large farmhouse table. Overall, great place for an overnight... More

We have just returned from a week in Normandy staying in the colombier (converted pigeon loft) on this farm and we had a wonderful time. The accomadation is of the highest standard in every way. The gite is so homely, its full of ornaments and books and every kind of kitchen gadget that you can imagin. The loft is actually... More

“Our room was up a quite steep stair if someone had a disability. We stayed in a separate building from the main house. Book early to get a double room but actually we found it quite good fun! Ask for a room with a separate bathroom if you are used to more privacy as ours just had a screen round the toilet-He He!”
