Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were taking our own touring caravan and selected this site because it was only an hour away, we've never visited before and it looked nice. From the moment we arrived we were very impressed, the reception staff were happy, cheerful and very welcoming. We actually upgraded to a fully serviced pitch easily done in moments. We were taken to our allocated pitch, generous size with full services including TV hook up. It took a short while to get set up (no awning) and my wife and I were sat enjoying the Autumn sunshine and a light lunch. The touring area is well maintained, the grass was cut during our stay of 3 nights. Pitches are well spaced and well maintained with hedges behind. The site has lots of beautiful trees, along the one edge of the site is a small river bordered by trees with a foot path alongside this leads to designated River Walk with a walkway mowed in the grass, it's an attractive area with ample "doggy poo" buckets for dog owners to deposit their doggy calling cards. Beyond this is a beautiful pitch & putt course, quite a large one with some stunning trees, this is a well though out and designed course. Beyond this again is the biggest Dog Walk area I think I've seen where dogs can "run free" if safe, this borders the main road to the site. The facility block is well designed with male & female toilets/showers/ wash cubicles, laundry, dish wash area and an undercover area for dog wash, waste water and chemical toilet disposal. The facilities appear clean and tidy. Near the entrance to the site is the Mill Inn pub and restaurant, we called in an again a warm welcome. All in all we were very impressed with Poston Mill and will definitely be returning.

Best dog ftiendly site we have found to date! Warm welcome on arrival and great facilities. Warden told us that more improvements are planned but we found they are already superb. Onsite pub and restaurant great with good food, eat in or takeaway, free mini golf course and numerous walks from site. We only live an hour away but this will become a regular escspe for us and the dogs!

Beautiful site well kept. Met by very friendly staff who take you to your pitch and explain where everything is. Generous pitch on an immaculately kept site. Toilets very clean and much preferred not having to have a key as on other Morris sites makes life a little easier. The wardens are very friendly and helpful small shop in reception but with more than enough to get by on. Bus stop at top of driveway which was great. Nice pub/restaurant on site. We booked a table for the Friday that we arrived which was nice after having set up - so much so we booked for Sunday lunch and both meals were lovely nice staff again. There was a nice looking play area for any children and a free pitch and putt. Nice walk along river bank with some picnic tables dotted around. Tennis court and table tennis table also available. All in all one of the nicest sites we have stayed at and we will certainly be back as it was so quiet and peaceful. Well done to all the staff for not only keeping the site so nice but for being so friendly and welcoming 👏👏😀😀

This is an immaculate site, maintenance staff out all day mowing, hedge trimming etc. On arrival you are escorted to your pitch and layout explained. Most friendly, helpful wardens I’ve met. Toilet block always clean and, although only 3 showers, I never had to queue (site not busy just after Bank Holiday). Huge amount of beautifully kept green space, including a large, enclosed dog exercise field so dogs can run off lead. Nice, mown, walk along the stream which runs beside site. Numerous dog waste bins so disposal easy. I was at the bottom of the site and heard a little road noise, but not at all intrusive. Torch advised as site dark at night, which I liked. Only negative was that mown grass is not picked up so, in wet weather, constant battle to keep grass clippings out of caravan!

What a great site! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after our every need. Facilities are spotless and the site is lovely. Despite the rain we still went into Hay on Wye on the bus (bus stop just by the site entrance). Hay was gorgeous, so many interesting things to see and do. Try Shepherds for a fab coffee and ice cream! Will definitely return.
